Summary
Clary left Holmes Chapel. 7 months ago.
When she returns for a holiday trip she has to deal with the fact that some things stayed the exact same way, which they were before and other changed completely.
One of these things is her relationship to Harry. Things are more complicated than she could have ever imagined them to be.
They are both have to ask theirselves the same question: Do they even have a chance anymore?

His eyes got warmer and he smiled over my dumb gesture. “I`m Zayn”, he said with a deep and roaring voice.

“You look awesome”, he said quietly as we waited in line. I tried to figure out, if I was just imagining or if he really just called me pretty.

“What are you doing here?” There was nothing. No emotion in his voice, no anger, no disappointment, no joy, just a simple pressure to answer his question.

Who was the brunette? Why are the girls always so damn pretty and I wasn´t? Was I?

“You want to break up right here?”, he asked unbelievably. “There´s no point to take this any longer...”, I let out so quietly that I wasn´t sure if he heard me at all, but he had.

Probably I shouldn´t be here at all. But I loved to see her relaxed, sleepy face, which made her look like a kid and her heartbeat so close to mine.

Zayn was the biggest mysterious to me ever.

“Oh, no. Zayn, don´t...”, but before I could finish he grabbed me, wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled us both into the cold water.

“Aimee, we kind of...we just had this thing...”, I stumbled like an idiot.

“Seeing him with her?” Oh, that was what he meant. “No, I mean I´m okay with it. We clearly both moved on”, I lied or was I really okay with it?

“He likes you”, she suddenly said and caught my full attention again.

He grabbed my wrist and pulled me back so I fell against his body. There was no moment of deep eye contact to get my permission before his lips already crashed into mine and he kissed me.

The only thing I wanted to do, was laying down on the street and sleep. Sleep to stop the pain, which were every part of my body.

“Don´t ever let me go”, she suddenly whispered as quiet that it was nothing more than a back draft in between us.

I took some seconds before I was sure I could answer him with the three words, who had been told way too much and not enough at the same time on the whole wide world. “I love you, Harry.”

“It´s not a guy from a gmy! I´m not a slut, Zayn!”, I shouted at him and he only responded in raising his eyebrows.

“I´m sorry, Clary. But I just couldn´t lie about it anymore”, he apologized and I heard his voice shaken. I looked up and stared into his dark eyes.

“Harry, it´s just me”, I told him and he finally looked me in the eyes. I fell into green and the sun made them sparkle golden around the pupil.

“Clary I deserve better than you, don´t we both knew that like right from the start?”, he snaps at me and I feel tears rolling over my face.

“Then don´t tell him.” Now I looked up to see, if he was serious. “Don´t?”, I asked confused.

“Just like you kind of realized that you were with the wrong girl as you slept with her?”, she snapped and I hurt all the hate in her voice as she mentioned Clary.

“What´s the name of my admirer of my work?”, I questioned him and he told me. The name fitted his appearance perfectly, soft and easy said over your lips.

“Harry there´s a kid in this car”, I laughed and he took a short look at her before he said: “She can´t understand what´s going on.”
