She sat there on the couch as her neighbor stood up and walked out, he was a good person, he really was, always doing the impossible for his daughter, even though she didn't live with him. Word on the street is that she’s moving down here to London in a month and he's freaking out. Redecorating the house and giving it a spring cleaning even though it's almost winter.
He stopped short in the middle of the doorway and turned to face her. 'Oh, and Anne?' She looked up at him, slightly upset since he'd just insulted her son.
'Tell your son to keep his filthy hands off my baby girl.' And with that, he stormed out, leaving Anne to sink her head in her hands and cry. As she waited for her son and daughter to arrive home.
