Ashley's POV

During last period, Louis asked if he could come over and study, so he'd catch up with what we're working on in all our classes and seemed delighted when i said sure. "Do you walk home?" He asked after a quiet minute. "I can if you want me to..like if you want to start right after school i'll just call my dad and say not to come get me, go straight to work." My dad is usually already at work by now but he called in late and accepted overtime because he wants to make sure im okay, since i don't normally ask him to take me to school.

Louis nodded and i raised my hand asking to use the bathroom, when the teacher agreed i walked to the bathroom and speed dialed my dad. "hello?" he answered. "dad. do you even check your caller ID? so you know who's calling you?" "I'm sorry baby girl i was sleeping, are you okay? is school over? need me to come get you? Is Harry bothering you?" this would be the perfect time to get Harold to leave me alone for good. but im too nice.

"No dad, im just calling to let you know im walking home, with a new friend. he just moved in and is new to the school, he needs help catching up with classwork." "He?" Dad asked, sounding more alert. "Don't worry dad, he's nice, you won't want to kill him." i said giggling. "besides, it's not like a date or anything. we're just studying. so you can have your extra hour to yourself before you head to work." he grumbled for a minute then agreed and hung up. i couldn't help it, i just skipped happily back to class, smiling the hugest smile ever.

on the walk home, Louis held my hand and we swung our arms back and forth, the autumn breeze felt good, and it made the moment a lot more special. "Hey Ashley!" called the same familiar voice from earlier. "Ugh!" I stamped my foot and whined. perfect moment, totally ruined.

Harry's POV

I saw them holding hands all the way up to lunch. when i saw them sitting at the same table with the rest of those nerds, i sent Niall over to go get the new kid. when he reached our table he rolled his eyes in disgust. "oh, you." he sounded like a little kid, a punk with a girly voice that i can easily dump in the trash whenever i feel like it, or shove him in a locker.."What's your name?" i asked quite nicely if you ask me. "Louis." "Well, Louis, do you realize that Ashley is my girl?" he laughed a little. "You? she obviously finds your existence annoying lead alone want to be with you." i narrowed my eyes. "Just stay away from her. she's mine, and i don't share with little pip squeaks like yourself." He narrowed his eyes back at me. "I do what i want. aren't you a senior? you could get her in a lot of trouble, trying to claim her like that. I don't think she deserves to get in trouble, not for the likes of you." and with that he walked off.

"Ashley..." I trailed off seeing that little shit standing there. "I thought i told you to stay away." "I thought i told you i do what i want." he said with a daring smirk, i looked down and there they were, holding hands. again. I balled up my hads into a fist, ready to throw a punch, but then i heard Ashley. "Bye Harry, we have studying to do." "is it just studying? c'mon, let's talk for a minute." i grabbed her hand and kinda maybe sorta pulled her away from that kid. "What?" "you're supposed to work WITH love, this," i pointed between her and Louis. "isn't working with me, its working against me.." "well YOU'RE the one who's like 'oh, we can't be seen, we can't be public, blah blah blah.' so im laying low like you said. now you can make a scene and get both in trouble. or you can let me do me and everything will be peachy." i narrowed my eyes. "you swear it's just studying?" she rolled her eyes. "Harold. I'm not a whore." then she turned around and walked away.

Ashley's POV

"Hey dad. Meet Louis Tomlinson. He lives literally next door." i smiled as they shook hands. "Snacks are in the kitchen, which today since i stayed home, is sliced fruit and yogurt for dip..." I smiled bigger. "thank you daddy." As i walked into the kitchen and dropped my bag by the table, Louis came in looking around. "this place is huge..i haven't even seen my own house yet, mum just dropped me off at the school since she had all the papers set..." i looked over at him. "is she home?" "No, work." "you have a key?" "mhm." "want to check it out when we're finished? i could help you unpack."he slowly nodded as he took a sliced apple and dipped it into the yogurt. you could tell he was in deep thought. "you okay?" i asked, tapping his shoulder. he jumped slightly and nodded. "let's get started."

As i helped him catch up, my dad came in and had a side conversation before he left, he pulled me to the side. "I like him, he's respective towards you and myself. if you two were to...uhh...you know.." "...date?" he nodded. "dad. you'll never accept anyone i date because you still see me as a little girl." he shook his head. "I mean, if anyone would treat you right in my eyes....he'd be it..im not joking. i'd accept him." i smiled. "Okay thanks daddy,now, stop worrying about my love life and focus on yours. you need to get at least a girlfriend, now go to work and find a girl." i said laughing until i was red in the face, because honestly knowing that my dad kind of expects Louis to make a move on me, and being okay with it, isn't good for Harry. I'm supposed to be with Harry...I'm supposed to be Harry's girlfriend. Just secretly. does that mean i can publicly date Louis?

i walked back into the kitchen holding my head. "Okay, we can stop for today, i have a headache..." Louis looked up at me and ruffled his hair. "Awe, so no unpacking?" I smiled. "Yeah, come on, lets go." He stood up quickly grabbing his bags and then hurrying to hold my hand. "I'm sure i have some pain killers in my room somewhere anyway, and you can lie down for a while too, if you need to." i just nodded my head and locked my the door behind me as we walked out my house. "Are you lightheaded?" "uhm...no?" "too bad." i was going to ask what but instead i squealed because he picked me up. He's not as tall as Harry but pretty much everyone is taller than me so..

when we walked into his house, the whole downstairs was unpacked as far as the naked eye can see. "Well Lottie and them must've stayed home to unpack..." he mumbled putting me down,but grabbing my hand leading me to his bedroom. when he opened the door, he sighed. "Of course...leave this untouched. that's fine." "Do you often talk to yourself..?" i asked quietly. "doesn't everyone? maybe not out loud like me but doesn't everyone?" i nodded. "do you think im weird?" he asked quietly. "Only in a good way." i admitted, giggling, this made him smile. "my bed is cleared off. you can lie down if you need to, i'll look for the pain killers."

i crawled in his bed and closed my eyes, my head is pounding and i kind of want to cry because it hurts so bad. then he comes out his closet with some pills that i presume is pain killers. "you wouldn't try to drug me would you?" he made a face. "Please, I'm pretty sure that Harry guy would do it faster than he could even spell cat." I choked on the water he handed me trying not to laugh, that was actually pretty funny. "You need cuddles." he randomly said in a cute way. "But didn't you want to unpack?" he just shrugged and crawled into bed, pulling me close to his chest. "Not if you don't feel good.." He began to play with my hair and i started dozing off, but then i woke up when i heard him mumble something.

im not sure what happened then, i looked up at him and he looked down at me...there was this connection and he leaned in closer, i closed my eyes, i felt his lips press softly to mine and then a little rougher and i didn't hesitate to kiss back...
