July 1st
Bella POV

I woke up and looked at the clock. 9:10. I told Harry I'd meet him at 9:30, I better get ready. I put my outfit on. A sunflower skirt, and a black shirt.
I start biking to the market at 9:25. When I walk into the market, Harry is in line.
"Bella!" he smiles.
"Heyy Haz," I say hugging him.
After Harry orders, he asks me what I want.
"I'm not really hungry right now," I say.
"Bella..." he looks at me.
"Don't start it, Harry."
He turns to the lady taking our order, "thats all for now, thanks."
When he gets his food, we walk outside to the pond. We sit on the bench, and he starts eating.
"Hey guys!" I hear someone yell from their bike.
We turn around to see Clayton and Brandon.
"Hey," I say smiling.

Harry POV

I see Clayton and Brandon on their bikes.
"Hey," Bella says, smiling.
I see the way she looks at him. She really likes him, doesn't she?
"Bella," I say after they rode by.
"What's up?"
"You really like him?"
"God Harry..." she looks away.
"I didn't mean to sound like its bad," I explain, "I meant do you like him a lot?"
"I guess.." she starts, "I don't know."
I lean over and hug her.
"Hazz," she laughs.
I kiss her forehead.
"I love you Bella."
"Love you too."
Bella gets up and starts walking the perimeter of the pond. What is she doing? She's so random...
"What the hell are you doing?" I ask her.
"Looking for fish," she laughs.
She stares into the pond, searching. I look at her. She's so cute with her funny outfits. She really likes Brandon, and I want to help her. She deserves it.
She runs back, and sits on my lap.
"Let's go to the beach," she says.
I groan, "its too early."
"Do you have your trunks on?"
I start to laugh. She gives me a confused look.
"Trunks?" I laugh, "you're cute."
"I'm getting on my bike and we're going to the beach," she says sternly.
I get on my bike, and let her lead the way to the beach.
When we get there, she runs straight to the ocean.

She turns around and smiles at me.
"I love the ocean," she says.
I smile back.
"Be careful you might get your fancy skirt wet," I say.
She takes off her skirt and shirt, now in her bikini. I run up to her and pick her up bridal style.
"Harry!" she screeches, "what are you doing?!"
I run into the ocean with her in my arms. She's screaming.
"PUT ME DOWN HAZ!" she yells.
"Nope!" I say, and throw her into the waves.
We swim for almost an hour, then get out and go to her locker to dry off. I had to go into the girls locker room, but it was fine because no one was there.
"Haz?" she says.
"Yeah?" I ask.
"I don't feel well," she explains, "my head really hurts."
"Sit down," I say, "I'll go get some water for you," I smile.
She smiles back, but I can tell its kind of forced. I walk towards the ice cream shop and pour a cup of water. I walk back into the locker room, and all the way to the end where Bella's locker is.
"I got you some waaterr," I say walking into the locker. She fell asleep. I figured I should wake her.
"Bella," I say quietly, "get up."
She doesn't move. I start to poke her, "Bella."
I start shaking her, "BELLA!"
Oh my god. Is she dead? What the hell is going on? I get my phone and call 911.
"Hi, I'm at the Beach Club," I am about to cry, "I went to get my friend some water and I came back and she is passed out..."
"We'll be there soon," the woman says on the other line of the phone.
I hang up, and pick Bella up in my arms. I ran to the parking lot, and waited on the steps. I sat there with Bella in my arms. I take out my phone and call Cat.
"Hey, you're with Bella, right?" she asks.
"Cat," my voice shakes.
"What's wrong?" she sounds worried.
"You, Your mom and Bella's mom need to come to the beach club right now," I say, "If I'm gone by the time you're here, go to the hospital."
"What--" she starts.
"Now," I say, "its an emergency."
The ambulance finally arrives. They take her onto a sliding cot, and I hop into the back. I take her hand.
My phone starts to ring. It's Natalie.
"Hey Harry! Bella isn't picking up and I thought she was with you so wanna hang out?" she says cheerily.
"Natalie," I choke up on my words, "I can't talk now," I try to explain, "I'll have Cat call you when she can..."
"What's happeni--" she starts.
"I need to take care of her," is all I can get out.

Natalie POV

"I need to take care of her," Harry says.
What the hell is going on?
I call Brooke.
"Brooke?" I say.
"Hey, whats up?" apparently she doesn't know either.
"What the hell is up with Harry and Bella?" I ask.
"OMG are they dating?!" she squeals.
"No, I think somethings wrong. I--" I choke on my words, "I heard sirens."
"What the hell are you talking about, Nat?"
"I have to go," I say, "I'll call you when I know what's going on."
I hang up.
I call Lucy.
"Lucy, do you have any idea whats going on?" I ask.
"What do you mean?" Lucy is confused.
"Somethings wrong," I say, "I have to go."
I hang up.
I grab my bag and put my phone, my charger and a t-shirt, and run out.
I get on my bike, and start biking. I don't know where, I just bike. I bike past the market and towards the cemetery. I turn onto Bella and Cat's street, and pull into their driveway. I run into the house, and the only people there are Cat's siblings, Chloe and Chris.
"Hey," I say quietly, "sorry for just barging in..."
"It's fine, why did everyone just rush out of here, and tell us to stay?" Chris asked.
"I was going to ask you what was going on..." I say.
"Cat got a call from Harry," Chris started, "and then she said something to my mom and Bella's mom and they all rushed out."
"They told us to stay here," Chloe pouted, "what are we missing out on?"
"I'm not sure, Chloe." I say sympathetically.
'Something's wrong' I mouth to Chris. He nods. I wonder where everyone is. I'm scared. What's going on?
"Maybe I should go..." I say.
"No, stay," Chloe says.
"Yeah, you can stay Natalie," Chris says.

Harry POV

On the way to the hospital, I tell the nurses what happened. As we're rushed in, they take Bella into a room, and I follow close behind. My phone is ringing, but I ignore it. When they put Bella into the bed of the room, a doctor comes in and asks me to step aside. I stand by the door while nurses start injecting her with needles.
"Please don't hurt her," I murmur.
"Excuse me honey?" the nurse asks.
"Please don't hurt her," I say quietly.
"Don't worry honey, she'll be okay," she comforts me, "have you called her parents?"
"Yes," I say, "her mom, aunt and cousin."
"Thank you," she smiles and walks back over to Bella.
I hear something crash in the hallway. I turn around, and Bella's mom, aunt and Cat walk in.
"What's going on?" Karoline is worried.
"I'm sorry," I say tearing up.
"Harry," Cat hugs me, and starts to cry.
I explain what happened to her family.
The doctor asks us to wait outside. I sit in a chair, with my face buried in my hands.
What have I done?

This is all my fault.

If I didn't leave her, would she be okay now?

What if she dies?

"What did I do?"
shit. I said that out loud.

"Nothing, Harry," Cat says to me.
"I'm so so sorry," I say.
"It's not your fault," Cat says.
"I'm so sorry," is all I can say.
All I see in my head is her smiling at me, standing with the ocean washing up on our feet.

"I love the ocean."
