Breakable

July 2nd

Cat POV

Bella has to stay in the hospital for one more day. I talked to Natalie, Lucy, Brooke, Clayton, Brandon and Cameron. I told them she was in the hospital and they could visit. They asked why she was in the hospital, but I explained that the nurses had to do some tests of her blood to see what was going on. I stayed there overnight with my mom and Bella's mom. Harry stayed too. When I woke up, Bella was still sleeping. She was unconscious for a while yesterday, then woke up, but fell asleep. The nurse that was there when I woke said she woke up a couple of times during the night. Bella didn't know what was going on. I went down to the hospital cafeteria with Harry to get some food. We sat and talked.

"I'm worried," Harry said.

"She's going to be fine," I say comforting him.

"If I stayed with her she wouldn't be here..." Harry said quietly.

"It's not your fault." I say.

When I go back to the room, she's awake.

"Bella!" I exclaim.

I run to her bed, "Bella," I say quietly now.

"Hey Kitty Cat," she says with her quiet, scratchy voice. She smiles.

I put my hand on her cheek, "What happened?"

"I don't know..." she starts to tear up.

Harry walks in with Lucy and goes to Bella's bed. He looks at her, then looks away. He turns to me and whispers in my ear, "She's so pale."

"I know." I say.

Lucy hugs Bella.

I go out in the hall, and see Bella's nurse. I tell her that she woke up. The nurse comes in and stands next to Bella. Bella and my mom walk in from breakfast. We all stand around Bella's bed.

"Bella," the nurse says, "we took some tests. You weren't dehydrated. What was the last meal you ate?"

"Umm..." she says quietly.

"She didn't have breakfast 2 days ago ," I say.

"And a small lunch," my mom says.

"No dinner 2 days ago..." Lucy says.

"No breakfast yesterday," Harry says.

"Oh," the nurse says, "I'll be back." She walks out of the room.

Everyone stares at Bella.

Lucy sits on Bella's bed. She gives her some flowers. "How do you feel? I brought you these... I have to go but I wanted to say feel better. I love you," Lucy hugs Bella.

"Love you too," Bella says.

Lucy walks out.

"Can you guys go?" Bella says, "except for Harry?"

Everyone walks out in silence.

Harry POV

When everyone walks out, I sit on the bed next to Bella.

"Bella," I say, tucking her hair behind her ear.

"What happened?" she asks.

"You didn't feel well," I tell her, "I went to get you some water, and when I came back you were passed out."

She looks at me. She looks so sad.

"I'm sorry," she says, starting to cry.

"Don't be sorry, this isn't your fault at all." I say.

She stops crying and hugs me.

"Thank you, Haz."

"For what?" I ask.

"Saving me," she smiles at me.

I hear a knock on the door. I look up. It's Clayton.

"May we come in?" he asks.

I look at Bella.

"Sure," she says.

They both come in and hug her.

"So what happened?" Clayton asks.

"Clayton!" Brandon says, "none of our business."

The nurse walks in.

"Bella," she says, "you have anorexia nervosa."

I look at her in shock.

"Do you know what that is?" the nurse asks.

Bella nods.

"I am going to speak to your mother about this disorder. Feel better, honey." the nurse says.

"Bella..." I start.

Brandon takes her hand.

"You're going to be okay," he says.

Look who suddenly cares.

"Don't worry," Clayton says.

I stand there, and just look at her.

"Excuse me," I say, and I walk out.

Bella POV

Harry walks out. What the hell? Did I do something?

I look up at Brandon and smile. Aww he's holding my hand. But is Harry mad?

"Thanks so much for visiting," I say, my voice is scratchy.

"No problem," Clayton says.

"We wanted to make sure you were okay," Brandon says.

"I'm fine," I say.

"Well you need to get better!" Clayton says.

I smile, "Clayton go talk to your girlfriend Cat."

Brandon laughs. Clayton walks into the hallway.

"So when are you outta here?" Brandon asks.

"I think tomorrow," I say.

"Come to the Fourth of July party!" he says.

" Okay." I smile.

"I should go," he says. He leans over and pecks me on the mouth.

I blush, "bye."

Oh my god. Aww.

He walks out of the room.

My mom walks in. "I just talked to the nurse, honey," she says, "you have to eat some breakfast now."

"Ugh, mom," I start, "I'm tired."

"Bella. I'm going to get you food right now and I'm going to sit here until you eat every bit of it."

When she comes back, I eat my food, then go to sleep.

I wake up in my hospital bed. No one is there.

“Hello? Harry?” I yell.

Harry comes in.

“I’m going to the market, what do you want to eat?” he asks.

“Nothing, I’m not hungry,” I say.

“You have to eat!” he yells.

“Bella!” he yells, “you have to eat!”

“BELLA!”

“BELLA!” Harry yells.

I open my eyes. It was just a dream.

“Are you okay?” he’s concerned, “I thought you passed out again.”

“Just a bad dream…” I say.

“Oh,” he sits down next to me, “it’s okay.”

“Haz?”

“Yeah?”

“I’m sorry for snapping at you for telling me to eat…” I say, “I didn’t even realize that I hadn’t eaten in forever and it had become a habit…”

“It’s not just a habit anymore, Bella,” he says, “it’s a disorder. I care about you, and you’re going to get better.”

“Guess what, Haz?” I say excitedly.

“What?” he asks.

“When Brandon left, he kissed me!” I blush.

“Aww, Bella,” he says, “just a peck?”

“Yeah, haha,” I say, “no one wants to kiss a sick girl…”

“Why’d you leave when the nurse was in here?” I ask.

“I don’t know…” he starts, “I felt kind of… like uncomfortable or like nervous.”

“Oh. Well don’t worry,” I smile.

“Get some real rest without any nightmares,” he winks at me.
