June 28th

Natalie POV

I wake up to the sound of tweeting birds outside my window. I look over at my nightstand. 9:15. I should get ready, we're meeting at the market at 9:30. When I finish getting dressed, my phone rings.
"Natalie?"
"Hey, what's up?"
"Just double checking you knew we're meeting at the market," she says.
"Yeah just got ready. Who's going?"
"Basically everyone except Cameron," she says.
"Kay thanks, see you there."
"Bye!"
I hang up.
When I walk into the market, only Harry is there. He glances at me and smiles.
"Hey, Natalie," he says.
"Hii Harry," I say, smiling, "so what's up with you and Bella, honestly?"
"What do you mean?" he asks.
"I saw your ask," his face turns red.
"Oh," he says, looking at the floor.
"Do you really like her?" I ask
"No not really." he says quietly.
"Do you know if she likes Brandon?" I ask, "we couldn't get it out of her yesterday."
"I don't know..." he says, "but I think she liked kissing--"
Bella walks into the market with Lucy, Brooke, Cat, Clayton and Brandon.
"Hey guys!" Bella cheers.
"Oh hey," Harry says quietly.
"What's wrong?" she asks.
He smiles, "Nothing," he walks to her and leans in to kiss her forehead.
She pushes him away, "Stop, Haz," her face turns red.
"Okay!" I say trying not to make it awkward, "let's go get some food!"
I walk next to Bella, and we all order. When we get our food, everyone walks out to the tables.
"We'll be out in a minute," I say, dragging Bella over to the coffee station.
"What's wrong, Bell?" I ask, "pushing away Harry's kisses? You love him..."
"Yeah, but what if Brandon thinks I like Harry?" she says.
"Ohh, that's what this is about..." I don't know what to say.
"Let's go outside with everyone," she suggests.
"Where's your food?" I ask.
"Not hungry." she says.
We walk outside and I pull over a chair for Bella and I to share.
"Where's your food, Belly Boo?" Harry says smiling.
I nudge him, and give him the not-right-now look.
"I'm not hungry," she says in response.
"You have to eat..." he says, "it'll wake you right up."
"Stopit," she sounds annoyed.
"What's wrong?" he says, putting his hand on her shoulder.
"I'm not hungry okay? Stop bothering me and leave me alone!" she snaps.
"Well, what the hell did I do wrong?" he says angrily, "sorry for caring!"
"Stop guys!" Cat says.
"You're making a big deal out of the stupidest little thing," Lucy says.
"I know he is!" Bella says.
"No, both of you!" Clayton says.
"Let's go Clayton," Brandon says.
"I have to go too..." Lucy says, and gets on her bike.
"I'm going to go see if anyone is up at home," Cat says, "family lunch at 1, Bella."
Everyone leaves except Bella, Harry and me.
Bella just sits there scowling. Harry keeps eating, along with me. I look at Bella, wondering why she's acting so weird. Harry looks up at Bella.
"What is this really about, Bell?" he says, "I didn't do anything wrong."
"You're so annoying and protective and why can't you just leave me alone?" she says quietly, "you're not my father."
"I want you to be happy," Harry says, "I--"
"Harry," I say quietly, and look at him with a sympathizing look.
I lean over and whisper in his ear, "Maybe you should go... I'll talk to her."
He looks at me. I can see the hurt in his eyes. He gets up, and walks away.
"Let's go," I say it so quietly, I don't know if Bella heard.
"No," she says. She gets up and runs after Harry.
"Haz!" she yells, "don't go!"
I get on my bike and ride home.

Harry POV

I hear Bella yelling. I turn around and I see her running towards me.
"I'm sorry," she says, "I don't know why I was being so mean."
I hugged her, and rested my head on hers.
"It's fine," I say.
"I kind of like Brandon again..." she says.
"I know," I say.
I can feel my heart almost break. It really hurts.
"But he's not going to like me back," she whispers.
"Of course he will," I say burying my face in her neck, "he'd be stupid not to."
"I should go," she says, "Cat already went home."
"Okay," I say, "byee."
"Bye Haz."
