Lucy's p.o.v

I had got a text from Niall saying that I should meet him in his hotel room so that's where I was heading. I was a little bummed I only had time to chat with Justin Bieber for ten minutes backstage at the One Direction concert, but Niall had been talking to Tess. He needed me.
''Hey'' I said when Niall opened the door and let me in, I followed him to the couch and sat down beside him, placing my legs beneath me, prepared to listen. ''So how did it go?'' I asked.

Niall's flashback

''Are you letting me in or are we gonna have this talk in the hallway?'' Tess asked with a frown forming on her face, Niall let out a sigh before letting her in. They both sat down in the kitchen area around a table, not too close. This conversation was going to be hard, they knew that. But they also knew it was very well needed. They needed to get closure. ''So how did you do it?'' Niall asked without making eye contact, ''do what, Niall?'' Tess sighed. ''Manage to disappear, leaving all of your friends behind without looking back?'' Niall knew he was being harsh, but he had every right to.

''I understand that you're angry with me, I do but you have to listen to me and see where I'm coming from'' ''where you're coming from? Tess you CHEATED on me, you told me you loved me and then you betrayed me. You fooled me'' Niall snapped, ''just because I did that doesn't mean it didn't hurt me too. If you only knew what hell I went through'' Tess said and searched for Niall's eyes, but he wouldn't look at her. He couldn't. ''How dare you tell me you got hurt by this? You weren't the one who was fucking oblivious to what was going on, you weren't the one kissing and hugging the one you loved every night thinking they felt the same. You don't have any idea what you did to my heart'' Niall spoke with a low voice, trying to control his anger because he knew he would just end up in tears. He wanted to be strong, he didn't want her to know how much she actually ruined him. Because that's what she did, ruin him. ''To be forced to learn how to live without someone or choosing it yourself, believe it or not both hurts'' Tess said, not sure if Niall would understand her.

''You obviously think this is about you'' Niall mumbled feeling fed up with the conversation. ''What do you want from me Niall? We didn't work out? What do you want me to do?'' Tess snapped, suddenly feeling the conversation didn't go anywhere and that Niall was just holding on to the past. Tess had come here in thought that they maybe could be friends. Clearly he wasn't interested in that. ''I dunno, Tess? An apology?'' Niall said and for the first time he made eye contact with Tess who let out a sigh. ''I'm sorry Ni. I'm sorry for cheating on you, I'm sorry for lying to you, I'm sorry for leaving. I'm really sorry'' Tess said truthfully, she really was sorry. Things were different six months ago, she wasn't happy and she desperate needed a change. She made a mistake by cheating, when her feelings for Niall disappeared she should have ended things.

She didn't, and she hurt Niall along the way. That was never her intention. ''Thanks'' was all Niall could say. He stared at the girl he once loved and found himself not feeling a thing. Not hate, not love, not anything. He was relieved. ''You should probably go'' Niall said and stood up, Tess nodded and followed Niall to the door. ''When is it my turn to be happy?'' Niall mumbled so quiet but Tess turned around before walking out, ''when you realize you deserve to be'' she gave him a genuine smile and with that she was gone.

After a long conversation with Niall and making sure he was okay after all, I was headed to Eleanor's room to keep her company. The boys were going out clubbing tonight since it was their last night in NYC before flying to LA. Because of Eleanor being pregnant and I'm not in the party mood I decided to stay with El. ''I've ordered room service, I hope you're hungry. I'm having the weirdest cravings'' El said as I walked through the door. ''Really? What are you craving?'' I laughed and sat down beside her on the King sized bed. ''Don't laugh okay? Literally any form of potatoes. Baked, mashed, scalloped you name it. And oh milk, I could die for some milk right now if only the room service would hurry up'' El said and looked all dreamy while talking about food and I couldn't help to giggle. ''Is it weird? It's weird, right? Louis told me not to tell anyone, damn it.

But you're my best friend, of course I'm gonna tell you'' ''Eleanor, breathe. It's not weird. It's normal to have weird cravings when you're pregnant'' I smiled and just in time there was a knock on the door. I got up and thanked the room service man before bringing it all in to Eleanor. ''Are we eating in bed? Sure Lou won't mind?'' I asked ''I'm pregnant, I'm allowed to eat in bed'' Eleanor laughed and dug in on her potatoes. Luckily she had ordered chicken wings for me which I loved. It was almost midnight and we were done watching a movie, El was getting tired so I was thinking about going back to my own room. ''Remember when you called me last week when you found the engagement ring?'' ''I forgot about that, but yeah?'' ''when do you think he'll do it? Can't wait until you get engaged'' El squealed making me laugh.

''I don't think he'll do it for awhile. Ty just died and I think he feels that it's not a good time'' El nodded understanding at my statement. ''Well when he does, are you gonna say yes?'' she asked and yawned, ''of course. He's the one'' I said before we both fell asleep in that King sized bed.

''Chop chop, ladies we need to roll'' I woke up to see Louis standing over us with a grin on his face, ''sorry, did I take your place last night?'' I said and gave him a cheeky smirk. ''It's okay, I had a nice time in bed with your boyfriend'' he winked, ''oh shut up, Tomlinson'' I threw a pillow at him. ''I'm going back to my room, see you guys later'' I said before walking out. ''You know we're leaving in like fifteen minutes?'' Harry said as I walked in to our hotel room, ''shit shit shit, I haven't packed'' I said and started running around looking for my things.

''Babe, I already packed your stuff'' Harry said and pulled me in for a hug, ''you're the best, you know that?'' I said and gave him a kiss. ''So what are we gonna do for the next fifteen minutes then?'' ''I think I have an idea'' Harry smirked before picking me up and putting me down on the bed. He straddled me and started kissing my neck, knowing it made me crazy. I reached for his shirt and pulled it off and he did the same with mine. He then placed his lips on to mine and deepen the kiss immediately. Soon enough all of our clothes were on the floor and he entered me with one thrust. We both moaned in pleasure as he started moving.

We hadn't had sex in more than a month and by our movements it showed we were both frustrated about it. It didn't take long before we both came, we were laying there panting for a moment before I stood up and wrapped a blanked around me. ''I'm gonna take a three minute shower'' I said, needing to wash away the liquid that was running down my legs. ''Oh hi Lucy'' I turned to see Liam and Niall walking in the door and I was so grateful I was partly covered in a blanket. ''Did we just walk in on..'' Liam began but stopped when he saw what I would think my face turning bright red. ''It smells like sex in here'' Niall yelled and I rushed to the bathroom slightly embarrassed.

''Oi Lucy, why are you being so quiet?'' Louis yelled from where he was sat next to Eleanor. We had just boarded One Direction's private jet and were headed for Los Angeles. Finally warmer weather. ''She's still embarrassed Liam and I walked in on her and Harold doing the dirty'' Niall smirked making everyone laugh. ''You didn't...we didn't...ugh never mind'' I whined and everyone laughed even more. ''After all these years you should be used to them teasing about these kind of stuff'' Harry said so only I would hear, ''I am. But I will never be comfortable discussing our sex life with all of our friends like it's weather talk'' I said and received an apologetic smile from Harry. ''How are you feeling today?'' Harry said and changed the subject? ''physically, fine. Mentally, tired and a little bit sad'' I said truthfully.

''C'mere'' Harry said and let me lay down on him with his stomach as a pillow, ''you should sleep, my beautiful girl'' he said and started stroking my hair. Within minutes I was asleep.
I was shaken awake and I sat up thinking it as Harry but noticing the plane was just having some turbulence. ''Ladies and gentlemen, may I please ask you to put on your seat belts. We're flying through a storm at the moment'' the captains voice said through the speakers. Now this is why I hate flying. We all put our seat belts on and Harry grabbed my hand squeezing it. I started panic a bit when the plane started shaking even worse than before so I closed my eyes and squeezed Harry's hand harder.

''Breathe, Lucy'' Harry said and I could tell by his voice that he didn't enjoy this either. Suddenly we were thrown to the side, to the other side and then forward. I heard someone screaming and I bent down hiding my face in Harry's knee as I felt the tears coming. We're going to die. This plane is going to crash. We're going to die. We're going to die. We're going to die. ''Lucy it's okay, it has stopped'' Harry said, I didn't know how long time had passed but it wasn't until then I felt the plane was still again. I sat up and immediately started to sob into my hands. ''Is she okay?'' I hear Niall ask Harry who mumbled something back. ''What was that? That made me so scared'' I hear Eleanor say, ''Lucy's scream made me almost shit myself'' I hear Louis said. I was the one who had screamed. Why was I the only one this affected by that, I mean sure they all thought it was scary but I screamed and is currently crying my eyes out. Harry had wrapped his arms around me leaving me crying in his chest.

''Did it remind you of the car accident?'' Harry asked with a soft voice. Of course that was it. I could all of sudden remember the exact feeling I had two years ago when I was in a car accident. Like I was inside a washing machine, being thrown around. I nodded as answer to his question and let out a sniffle. ''This is the captain speaking. I'm sorry for that hard turbulence, we have passed the storm and will go in for landing in about thirty minutes'' ''we're soon there, Luce. Everything's fine'' Harry reassured me.

We arrived to LAX and I felt exhausted. ''I never want to fly again'' I said to Harry as we waited to be transferred to a car which would take us to the hotel. He pulled me in for a hug and we just stood there hugging until Paul told us it was time to go. Harry held my hand hard as we walked through the mobs of fans and paparazzi screaming in our ears. I took a breath of relief when we got in our car. I was sitting between Harry and Liam and across from us were Louis, El and Niall. ''I don't want to worry anyone or anything but...'' Eleanor began ''what's wrong, love?'' Louis asked ''I would like to visit the hospital bec..'' ''why is something wrong with the baby?'' Louis yelled. ''Uhm after experiences like this when you get really scared you can have a miscarriage, I just want to check everything's alright. I'm sure it is'' I saw El force a smile while all color disappeared from Louis' face.

''Paul, we need to drop of Lou and El at the hospital'' Liam shouted to Paul who was in the front seat. ''Sure, everything alright?'' he looked back at us ''it will be'' El answered. After making a little detour and dropping of Louis and Eleanor at the hospital with one bodyguard we finally arrived to our hotel. It was only 8am and Harry was growing restless and was pacing back and forth in our hotel room. ''Harry would you like to do that hike with me today and...and say goodbye to Ty?'' I asked, suddenly feeling sad again. ''Are you sure you're ready?'' he stopped pacing and walked up to me. He put his arms around my waist and looked me in the eye, ''This is as ready as I'll ever be''.

Harry's p.o.v

LA weather was so hot today and both Lucy and I were sweating. ''We really picked the wrong day to do this'' Lucy panted, ''look we're at the top'' I said, overwhelmed with joy. Finally. I would have been dead if there was another hill. I feel bad for my bodyguards, I mean at least Lucy and I chose to do this out of free will. ''There it is, babe. The Hollywood sign'' this was the first time for Lucy to see the Hollywood sign up close. We had been in LA so many times through the years but never actually been hiking up here. ''It's beautiful'' she said, ''let me take a quick picture of the view'' I said and grabbed my phone.

I snapped a quick picture before putting down my phone again. ''How do I say goodbye?'' she said and looked at the view, ''tell him what you want to tell him, just speak from your heart'' I said and she grabbed my hand. ''Ty, I don't know if you're listening..'' she began ''I hope you're doing good up there, because I believe that's where you are. Up there chilling with gran and grandpa, telling them one of your stupid jokes'' she let out a laugh. ''I hope you're well, I'm not feeling very well. It's hard without you. But I'm trying. I really am. Harry helps me a lot'' she squeezed my hand ''I don't really know what to say. I don't even know if you're listening...but, I'm so happy you came back in to my life when I was eighteen. These past four years we were a family again, and I was really happy. Every part of my life was good.

So how did this happen? If there is a god, why did he let this happen? You didn't deserve to die, if anything you deserved to live. You turned your life around, you made yourself useful and you were the best big brother anyone could ever imagine'' she stopped to take a breath as tears fell down her face. I gently rubbed my thumb against her hand. ''I just wish you were here right now because I need you. I wish you got the chance to live and be you. You worked so hard, Ty'' she didn't talk for a while she just let her tears fall. ''I'm not gonna break though. I will live for you. And I will make the best of it, because I love you'' she took a deep breath and wiped away her tears. ''Thank you for this, Harry. I really needed it, I feel like I've said goodbye now'' she said and turned to leave. ''Wait'' I said making her turn around again, ''Tyler, bro, you know how much I respect you. I just wanted to tell you that I promise to take care of your sister'' Lucy let out a sob at my words and threw herself in my arms. We stood there for a while, she was crying and I was holding her hard. She was crying, but I had a feeling she would be okay.

Sometimes I'll just throw in pictures of tweets and stuff like that. Like the photo at the top, obviously Harry tweeted if even if I didn't write it in the chapter :)
