The dusk of dawn

Summary

Maya, a curious, interesting character, always keeping her mind wide open, is the new girl of the small town, Hawthorn Creek. She fascinated by the past, she always aced her history exams. When she comes to Hawthorn Creek, she immediately begins to learn about it's history. What an angel of a child, you may think. You could be right, but then again, you could be wrong.

Louis Tomlinson, the 'weirdo' of Hawthorn Creek Secondary school picks her up straight away. To the eyes of the school, he's a loner, a creep, who likes to sit alone and isn't interested in girls. The only thing that makes Maya different from the others is that spark. That spark of interest in her eyes. The light that still lives inside of her. He's determined to save her before that light is lost, like the rest.

"You saved me!" she whispered, gasping for air.

"What was I supposed to do? Watch your spark burn out like the rest?' I turned away, leaving her staring after me.
