The City Of Love
As Esmie, and Liam disappeared into the distance, I sighed slightly. I felt awful that Esmie decided to get up and go back to the hotel. Of course, I didn't know her that well, but I did know that Liam was into her. Considering I only want what's best for the boys, I knew we all needed to get to know her a bit more. Let her open up to us, or else the trip would be a drag to her.
"You okay, Lia?" Harry spoke up, shaking me out of my thoughts.
"Uh, yeah. Just upset that Esmie didn't open up yet. I think she'd fit in with us well. . ." I shrugged, and attempted to tug out of his grip.
"Hey!" He lightly warned. "We're all having fun, maybe that alone time is what they both needed?" He reminded me, and I never did think of that. Maybe Liam and Esmie needed their alone time.
"Yea, you're right. I should be having fun." I sigh again, but my eyes trail off to see a somewhat unamused Niall.
Shooting him a confused stare, he turns swiftly, and walks off to talk to Naomi. Linking his arm with hers. What is he doing.
"Okay! So grab your gear, we have to climb the first flight, to get to the stairs." Rachel cheered tossing a harness over to me.
And after everyone had put it on Lena had made her way over to me, and helped tighten my harness.
"What's up with you and Niall? You haven't spoken a word to each other the entire trip." She whispers, shooting me a concerned look.
"I don't know. I'll talk to him eventually." I shrug, clipping on the rope.
"Talk to him now. Zayn and I used to have those types of fights, didn't end well if we kept dragging the fight on." She nudged me, and I gave in walking over to Naomi, and Niall.
"May I talk to him for a second?" I asked Naomi, and she smiled, walking off and linking arms with Harry. "What is wrong with you?" I whisper, and he shoots me a incredulous glare.
"What's wrong with me? What the hell is wrong with you!" He whispers a bit louder, whilst climbing up the side of the tower.
"You're the one linking arms with your sister, and not even bothering to spend time with me! Not to mention you haven't spoken to me throughout our stay here!" I yelled back at him, and from the distance, I could see everyone else taking their time. Probably to give us space.
Much to my dismay he didn't even bother answering the question, he simply climbed faster, unclipped himself and hoisted himself over the bar before walking off without me. Gee thanks for the help. My hands grasped at the bar, repeating his actions. Unclipping my belt, I pushed myself up. Maybe I'm a lot stronger than I think. I smiled to myself, but one of my arms gives up on me, and I slip onto the bar underneath me. Fuck. I attempt to pull myself up, but my arms have no strength at all, so they hang limp above me.
"NIALL!" I shout, and no response. I'm going to die. I chant to myself, before looking down again. My opposite hand giving up on me, I screw my eyes shut as my other hand slips too.
"LIA!" A voice from below me shouts, as a harsh hand grips on my shoulder saves me from my fall.
"Jesus Christ, you almost died. Naomi, just stay behind her so she doesn't fall." He demands, climbing up faster, and faster before jumping onto the the platform.
"Thanks." I mutter, and Naomi simply smiles.
"I can't believe he left you there, especially when you almost died! I'm disappointed at my brother." She remarks, pushing me over the railing, and hauling herself over as well. "I find it really fucked up." She mutters, wiping off excess dust on her clothing.
The rest of the couples piled on, and the argument between Harry and Niall grew louder.
"What in bloody hell is wrong with you!"
"What do you mean, what in bloody hell is wrong with me. You're the arsehole who had your hands on her!"
"To coax her! Esmie left, she felt bad, and to top that all off, she almost fucking died, and you didn't even turn back to help her!" Harry roared.
"What do you mean she almost died?" He screeched.
"She slipped, and almost fucking died! At least I take care of my damn girlfriend!"
"Fuck." He muttered lowly, as Rachel pulled me into a hug.
"Let's just have fun, okay. No boyfriend drama." She smiled, clicking the elevator button inside the interior of the tower, and climbing on with the boys.
"I'll have fun. No boyfriend drama." I smiled, trying to erase the terrifying moment.
