Once in a Lifetime

I read the first 3 chapters but that was enough for me to give you some constructive criticism.

To begin, spelling and sentence structure is very important! Everyone has those moments when they don't catch a spelling mistake, but make sure to read over your chapter at least twice before posting it to catch those mistakes. Sentence structure is even bigger! I want you to read this to yourself and then aloud:

`Anna look I love you and all but I don't feel good right now. So maybe next Tuesday.`

When I read this I had to look over it a few times. This is how it should look:

"Anna, look, I love you and all but I don't feel good right now; maybe next Tuesday?"

So what I did was first change (' ') to (" "). Quotations always should go inside of " ". Next, I added some commas. Commas are a key component when writing. Without commas you could write something that either doesn't make sense or comes off the wrong way. For example (and this is from another fanfiction page (Fanfiction Help by @RealityRuinedMyLife) which I recommend to help you out with things like this! Here is the example:

"I helped my uncle jack off a horse."
"I helped my Uncle Jack, off a horse."

Now does one of these sound better than the other? I think yes!

Next is the realism:

1. Your main character is 16. Would her parents really leave her home for a month alone? If it's with her sister, how old is she?
2. How does Niall and Harry know their names? That is big time stalker status....and where she lives?

These are things to look out for. I'm all for stretching the truth, but there has to be some sort of line between things like this. If you do use these things, tell me why it's real. Another thing you can do (which you should do as a writer) is to put yourself in their shoes. Here are the steps I use.

1. sit comfortably
2. close your eyes
3. imagine the situation (where are you? what are you doing?)
4. what is the character feeling?
5. could this really happen?

By asking those questions, your writing will improve 110% Your detail will improve, your story line with improve, and your idea will become +++!

I hope this helped!
