Chapter 47
A week later and here we are among-est Zach's grave staring down at him. I wasn't sad anymore only angry, we were all each other had so why would he leave? Maybe he couldn't take it anymore and drugs were the result. Harry was distant his mind somewhere else, I could tell it made him uncomfortable honoring a man who beat me. We buried him next to my mum and dad, I looked at the signs Zach Morris, Luke Morris, Maria Morris. My whole family buried in the ground, vanished from my life. They all left me alone for me to say my goodbye's. I noticed a man standing by the tree, I went up to him and leant on the tree next to him.
"You know Zach?" I asked him.
"Yeah we did some business together" he smiled.
"Oh I didn't know he had any friends" I shrugged.
"He helped me with something".
"I'm Kate, his sister" I held out my hand.
"James" he shook my hand.
I began to walk away when he stopped me "Are you having a gathering of some sort for him?" he asked.
"Yeah maybe I don't know we're going back to my boyfriend's house" I smiled, I loved saying that.
"Boyfriend?" he asked.
"Yeah his name's Harry".
"I see, well nice meeting you" he walked away from me.
I joined the rest of them and hugged them all "Thanks for doing this guys, now let's get drunk" I laughed.
I let everyone else walk in front so I could speak to Harry "I called you my boyfriend today" I smiled.
"Well that's what I am" he lifted my chin and kissed me.
"It's weird to think months ago we didn't even speak".
He sighed "I'm glad you didn't let me have your seat" he laughed.
"You were such an ass that day" I shook my head.
"I was testing you" he admitted.
"Testing me?" I tilted my head.
"To see how you would react, you looked like the girl to shut me down and I was right" he smiled proudly.
"How good of you to know that" I rolled my eyes. "Promise me something".
He looked at me "What's that?"
"We're always honest with each other and we don't let anything get in between us, I can't go through that again" I shook my head.
"I promise" he wrapped his arm around me as we walked home.
Drink was passed around when we got to Harry's, I passed everyone a shot glass filling it with vodka.
"To a crappy day" I held up my glass.
"Cheers" everyone chanted before downing the vodka.
Harry's phone rang, he walked to the other side of the room "What the hell do you want?" he asked. "You're what?" he shouted. He looked at all of us "Excuse me for a second" he smiled before going out the door.
Harry's POV
I opened the front door to see him standing there, his face full of happiness. My arm twitched, anger raised in my body my blood beginning to boil. I grabbed hold of the door knob squeezing it tightly as I tried to contain my anger.
"Nice to see you son" his face lit up.
I looked up at him, the man who once meant everything to me, the man I worshipped, here today. The man who tortured and abused me, killed my mother, standing in front of me. I couldn't speak, my brain deciding it's the best idea to stay quiet. I focused on my breathing, glaring at him. His smile pierced through me punching me in the heart. Morris came up from behind me, ignoring my presence and speaking to him.
"James I wasn't expecting to see you here" she smiled.
I looked at her in disgust what is she doing!?
"I thought I'd show my face" he shrugged.
I looked from him to her "How do you know him?" I asked appalled.
"I met him at the funeral, he's a friend of Zach's" she smiled and looked at him "Come on in" she walked off into the living room.
He took a step further into my house, I pushed him back "Don't even think about it" I spat through my teeth.
"That's a lovely girl you got there, she's pretty" he smiled.
I pushed him against the wall "Don't ever talk to her again, you hear me?" I shouted.
"Girls always have been your weak spot, it's cute" he laughed.
I punched him hard in the stomach causing him to wince.
"Oh come on son it was only a joke" he laughed.
"Don't call me that".
He grabbed my hair pulling it hard "If I were you I would be nicer to your dad, I've come all this way" he smiled moving past me into the living room.
"This is James" I heard Morris introduce him to everyone.
I walked into the living room and stood in the corner of the room. Music was being played as everyone danced. Morris came up to me wrapping her arms around my neck.
"Cheer up" she frowned.
I didn't say anything, I was too busy staring watching him closely.
"You shouldn't have invited him" I said coldly.
"I didn't" she looked at me offended.
I ignored her pushing her off me, I went and sat down on the sofa dismissing everyone.
"Do you want to dance?" James smiled at Morris.
That was all it took, I ran up to him pushing him into the TV. He acted innocent making out I've just hit him with a hammer, fucking asshole.
"Harry" Morris shouted pulling me away from him. "What the hell is your problem?" she shrieked.
"Him" I roared.
"It's just a dance" he held up his hands enjoying every moment of this.
"Get out" I said coldly.
He tilted his head "Now that's no way for you to speak to your father Harry" he frowned.
Morris dropped her glass on the floor gasping, she looked at me stunned.
"Get out" she shouted at him.
"You got yourself a keeper there" he laughed.
I growled punching him in the chest, Morris pressed her hand on my chest.
"He's not worth it Harry" she shook her head.
James left the living room heading for the front door, Morris and I followed him out.
"It was nice meeting you Kate, I'll see you soon" he smiled.
She smiled widely at him before punching him hard in the face "Go to hell asshole" she slammed the door in his face.
I looked at her tears filling her eyes, I pushed her against the wall kissing her. We ignored everyone else in the living room as I lifted her up the stairs. I threw her onto the bed ripping off her dress, she wrapped her arms around me as she helped take off my shirt and trousers.
"I don't want to take advantage of you" she frowned.
I growled pulling off her knickers "I don't care take advantage of me" I whispered.
I put on a condom before pushing myself inside of her, I sucked her neck as I pushed in and out of her making her scream. I bit down on here ear lobe making her laugh, she pressed her hands on my face bringing her lips to mine. I rolled off her sitting up, I got up off the bed trailing my fingers down her legs. She wriggled out of my grip knowing my intentions.
"No Harry" she shook her head.
I sighed "Fine".
She wrapped her legs around me pulling me onto her.
"We can just stay like this" she laughed.
I kissed her "Fine by me" I smiled.
"Are you alright?" she tilted her head.
"I'm fine" I shrugged.
She frowned "Don't lie to me Styles".
"Oh I love it when you call me that" I laughed.
"Harry" she moaned.
"Fine" I gave up. "I'm not okay, but I will be soon" I smiled.
"Don't shut me away" she shook her head.
"It's hard" I admitted. "I've kept things like this to myself for so long..."
She nodded "I know, but now you don't have to".
"I know".
"I love you do you know that?" she smiled.
I nodded "Thank you".
"For what?" she asked.
"For loving me" I smiled.
"Well it's not hard everyone loves you" she rolled her eyes.
"But no one knows me like you do, and you love the real me. That means more to me than anything" I shrugged.
"Well no problem" she grinned.
I hugged her tightly never wanting to let go, I breathed in her scent as I closed my eyes. She held my hand tightly, she always did this when I was sad. I managed to fall asleep next to the girl I love.
"You know Zach?" I asked him.
"Yeah we did some business together" he smiled.
"Oh I didn't know he had any friends" I shrugged.

She nodded "I know, but now you don't have to".
"I know".
"I love you do you know that?" she smiled.
I nodded "Thank you".
