Chapter 48
I jumped out of bed this morning, I swear if I'm late once more they will kick me out of school. This is my first day back today, they allowed me a week off due to my brother passing, how kind of them. Harry was already up, I put on a blue summer dress and converses before running down the stairs. Liam and Zayn were asleep on the sofa, I woke them both up by singing loudly.
"I have an alarm for a reason" Liam moaned.
"Well it don't seem to be working" I laughed.
"What time is it?" Zayn mumbled.
"6" I smiled.
"Then why the fuck are you up?" he asked.
"Dunno" I shrugged.
Liam sat up rubbing his eyes, he looked around the room.
"I don't really remember much from last night" he groaned.
"Aw" I patted his head sitting next to him. "Have you seen Harry?"
"No I thought he was with you" he shrugged.
"Clearly not" I laughed. "Where could he have gone at 6 in the morning?" I asked, then I remembered his dad...
"Don't ask me, I don't even know why you're up this early" he leant back on the sofa.
"We need to find him" I said to them.
"Why?" Zayn asked.
"I don't know I just have a bad feeling" I shrugged.
"Is it about the fight last night?" Liam asked.
"Maybe I don't know".
"What was up with him anyway?" Zayn sat up.
"You don't know about him and his dad?" I asked him.
"Wait that was his dad?" Liam shrieked.
I nodded my head.
"Shit, yeah we need to find him" he said worried.
"I don't understand" Zayn lay back down on the floor.
"Wait who knows?" I asked them.
"Just me I think, he's only ever told me, and well now you" Liam said.
"Oh then well me and you need to find him".
He nodded his head getting up off the sofa, I chucked him his top. He put it over his head and walked around the room.
"Can we have some toast first?"
"Liam" I moaned.
"Okay maybe not" he held up his hands making me laugh.
"Let's go" I shouted.
Liam and I walked outside the door, we found Jack sitting on the bonnet of his car.
"Jack what are you doing?" I laughed.
"I don't know" he shrugged.
"Have you seen Harry?"
"No why?" Jack asked.
I sighed he was my biggest hope of finding him, I could just be worrying about nothing.#
"We need to split up" I said to Liam.
"I'll call Rose" he said.
"Rose?" I asked.
"My driver" he looked at me confused.
"Oh that's her name" I nodded to myself.
He laughed "Go with Jack, call me if you find him" he walked away.
I turned to Jack "Let's go" I got in the car.
"Wait I don't understand what's going on?" he looked around aimlessly.
"We need to find Harry, I just have this feeling I can't shake".
"Oh right okay" he quickly got in the car.
"Where to?" he asked.
"Erm what places do you normally drive him to?" I asked.
"Mm events, mcdonalds, school etc..."
I sighed this is completely useless where would he go? I tapped my fingers on the window, he would have walked there, somewhere not too far. My mind suddenly clicked I looked out the window, niceish weather.
"Drive to mine" I ordered.
Jack nodded and drove me round the corner to my house, I ran out of the car.
"Go home, it's okay" I smiled at him.
"Are you sure?" he asked unconvinced.
"Yeah" I nodded before running away from the car.
I ran all the way to the park we went to, he likes being lonely at night time, something only I could understand. I looked around the park, I passed the swings on to the field, I saw a figure laying down on the grass. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and text Liam.
Found him.
I turned off my phone and walked over to him, I lay down on the floor next to him. I turned to face him, he was lost in thought. He finally looked at me and frowned, he turned on his side so we were facing eachother.
"You found me".
I nodded "This is your happy place".
He pulled me close to him, he was breaking and I didn't know how to help him.
"I need to get away from here, anywhere I don't care" he shook his head.
"Then you will always be running, what kind of life is that?"
"That's what I do Morris, I run far away it lasted me this long" he cried.
"Not this time, you can't let him win" I whispered.
"He already has, he took away her and I can never get her back" he frowned.
"No you can't but you can't let him affect you like this, he doesn't deserve it".
"He keeps texting me, calling me I've broke all my phones yet he keeps finding me. Jesus Christ he knows where I live" he half shouted.
"He found you once, he can find you again".
He closed his eyes "Please I need to go".
"No" I shook my head.
"Come with me" he looked at me hopeful.
"Harry..."
"No listen, all we have is each other. I will still attend gigs and meetings with the boys, but other than that nothing is keeping me here except you".
I sighed "Where would we go?"
"Anywhere, we have a car, endless money what's keeping us here?" he smiled his mind already made up.
"But what about the boys? I can't leave them, they're the only family I have" I frowned.
"We will still see them, I promise you. Listen I love you so much, we can even put a time limit on it" he shrugged.
"What do you mean?"
"One year, we will go away for that amount of time. After the year has ended we will come back here and live our lives. We've had a lot of fucked up shit happen to us Morris, we need this" he pleaded.
I thought over everything he was saying, one whole year with him. No worrying, no over thinking, no pretending. I smiled widely at the idea, we would still see everyone.
"Fine" I smiled.
He shot up off the ground hugging and kissing me, it warms my heart to see him this happy.
"When?" I asked.
"Today" he clapped his hands.
I jumped up off the ground pulling him up. We walked back to his hand in hand talking about our trip, all we had to do now is tell everyone.
