Chapter 31
I woke up naked next to Liam, I smiled at the thought of last night. I waited for him to wake up, once his eyes flickered open he looked at me wearily. For some odd reason I got the sense he was nervous...
"Are you okay?" I asked.
"Sorry I just wasn't sure how you would react" he shrugged.
"What do you mean?"
"Honestly?" he looked at me, I nodded. "I kind of thought that you might think last night was a mistake" he looked down.
I smiled relieved that was why he was nervous. I shook my head before pulling myself closer to him.
"Last night was..." I paused trying to think of the right word. "Incredible" I laughed.
"Oh thank god" he laughed before kissing me.
I rolled over so I was lying on top of him, and leant my head on his chest.
"You know I still don't have a condom, and unless you have any more in your bag..."
I laughed loudly "No that was my only one" I frowned.
"Well I'm sure we could think of something else" he rolled me over so he was lying on me.
He kissed down my neck and down my body stopping at my stomach. He sucked hard on a particular spot I winced at the slight pain. I looked down at the mark he has left, I raised my eyebrow.
"Just marking my territory" he smirked.
"Don't be an ass" I slapped him on the arm. He pulled me up so we were both standing. "I'm going to take a quick shower okay" I said to him before making my way to his bathroom.
I turned on the shower, clean hot water poured over me. I closed my eyes realising the warmth. After about 10 minutes I got out wrapping a white towel around me. I heard Niall's voice from the living room, so I put on my jeans and top before greeting him.
"Hey Niall" I smiled.
"Hey yourself" he smiled at me, but there was more to the smile than he let on.
I slumped myself on the sofa closing my eyes.
"You tired?" Niall asked.
"Yeah kind of" I shrugged.
"So what did you two get up to last night?" he winked at me.
"None of your business" I laughed.
"No fair" he whined.
"So what are you doing today?" I asked changing the subject.
"Studio" he nodded.
"Ah right cool, I should probably go" I stood up and hugged Niall good bye.
"But we didn't even get to catch up" he frowned.
"Tomorrow at lunch you and I can have a big catch up okay?"
"Fine leave me waiting" he gave me the evils before shouting to Liam. "Liam, Kate is going you better hurry up and say good bye".
Liam came into the living room instantly "You're going?" he frowned.
I nodded "Otherwise my brother will kill me for locking him out" I laughed.
"You locked him out?" he asked.
Oh shit I forgot that he knows literally none of the story...
"Oh no I mean he loses his key all the time" I wasn't lying just bending the truth.
"Oh right, well I'll get my driver to give you a lift home" he said before walking out the door.
Seconds later he was back "Okay the car is ready for you" he smiled.
"Well see you guys later" I nodded at both of them.
Liam followed me out and kissed me good bye "See you tomorrow".
"Bye" I kissed him again before getting into the car.
I didn't like this car, I didn't know the driver it was a women mid-thirties. It's weird but I sort of miss having Jack as the driver.
When I got home the door was wide open, I went in and saw Zach sat on the sofa. I looked back and forth between him and the door.
"Err Zach?" I said nodding at the door.
"Oh right well I was locked out so I broke the door down" he shrugged.
"And how do you expect us to pay for it?" I asked agitated.
"I don't know you'll figure it out" he said before turning to face the tv.
I went over and switched it off standing in front of it "No I don't think so, you are sorting it out right now" I shouted.
"Or what?" he demanded.
"Or say bye bye to a place to live" I joked before leaving him alone.
I liked this power I had over him, hopefully I won't have to take no crap from him anymore.
