I'm back lolol after a very long and eventful "break"

I figure if everyone on this forum thread posts regularly, encourages each others work and doesn't go MIA - the site can make a considerable comeback

@rebel.
You are absolutely right. I read or at least check every story and I never saw any of the people complaining here supporting new or even old stories. This sort of writing and reading involves networking, but everyone want votes and votes and votes.

@JustDont
Thank you! I figure if everyone doesn't want the site to die off - we're all going to have to put in a conscious effort into keeping each other motivated and positive. Needless to say; I'm shy - even behind a computer screen and haven't at all because of how still-ish new I am to the site started networking but I totally see where you're coming from. People need to start somewhere to achieve anything bigger than what they already are.

I wish this place wasn't as self obsorbed and negative all the time.

@rebel.
People became too competitive and mean. Like, trashing other people's stories on someone else's comments as in your story. That girl made you lose a lot of potential readers. Nothing goes unnoticed here.

@JustDont
So I've noticed.

I wished people would be more supportive of everyone's work. I mean even if you don't like something - you can still give constructive criticism in which could help benefit someone and their work. Whilst it's completely understandable that if people don't get votes on their stories they'll leave (because let's face it, everyone wants appreciating of some sort) if would be nice if it wasn't the be all or end all.

@rebel.
I get the vote thing, but many people read on this site without an account. I did it for months until I finally got one. But you are right. People should vote more to keep everyone motivated. Constructive criticism is fine to help people to improve. A lot of my friends stop reading when they notice suspicious attitudes. That includes accepting people trashing somebody else on your story, especially when it's someone with a lot of readers.

@JustDont
I'm going to sound really naive and I apologize in advance but could you further explain (only if you want to) suspicious attitudes? I haven't been around long enough to notice anything like this, then again - I'm a little stupid when it comes to stuff like this.
