Changing My Life

Amy's POV
We boarded the tour bus and it was very luxurious. What do you expect when you're touring with One Direction ? Alex was right they really had everything for Emily and Freddie. There was a baby crib and a small princess bed, a small play area, changing tables. Everything. There was a games room and a music room, a kitchenette a bathroom and then our bunks. Me and Liam even had our own bed. I mean come on this is insane.
After we settled our luggage me and Liam decided to talk to Emily about the pacifier thing while we're on our way to California.
"Emily, sweetie. Come here." She sat on my lap and laid her head on my shoulder while we were laying on our bed. "Listen princess, you're three and we think you are a big girl now."
"Yeah, do you think you can stop sucking your thumb and use this." Liam said showing her a pink pacifier. "Look it has Dora on it." She eyed it and took it, replacing her thumb with the pacifier, sucking on it.
"Now sweetie, you can't stay with this forever you know, we will take it away soon because you need to learn to sleep with nothing. You're a big girl now okay ?" She nodded and closed her eyes. We kissed her forehead and I hummed to her while she slept in my arms.
"Do you think she understood ? She was pretty worn out ?" I asked Liam.
"We'll remind her later babe, don't worry. She already took it and replaced it from her thumb, it's a huge step." I sighed.
"Yeah, I guess. I just don't want her to get out of a habit and start a new one you know ?" He nodded and kissed my forehead while I cuddled into him.
"I know babe, we'll figure it out." I smiled and closed my eyes. After that concert I was worn out from singing all day and I could tell we all were. He sang 'Little things' to us and we drifted off to sleep.

In the morning the bus was not moving. I woke up with Emily in between me and Liam while we had our hands entwined in a protective manner around her.
"Good morning babe" Liam whispered while kissing my forehead. I just smiled, I woke up with a huge pain in my lower abdomen. I shifted clutching my stomach. But soon jolted up rushing to the bathroom because I felt something trickling down my leg.
Let's just say I'm not a little girl any more. That doctor was right, about time but now I wish it didn't happen. Yeah it's worth it because I can have kids but the pain is what sucks the most.
After I took a shower I felt a little better and the pain had stopped for a little while but it came back every few minutes. I wrapped a tower around me and someone knocked on the door. I went to open the door but a cramp stopped me, I crouched down clutching my stomach groaning in pain.
"Amy ? Are you okay ? Oh my god ! LIAM !!!! " I don't know who said that because I'm too busy dealing with the pain.
Someone was knocking on the door more like pounding rather than knocking.
"Amy are you okay ?" I finally responded after the pain decreased.
"Y-yeah, one sec" I wobbled to the door and unlocked it still clutching my stomach.
Harry rushed to my side, I didn't give two shits that I was in a towel. He held me while I cried. I have never experienced this much pain. Liam soon was next to me asking a billion questions.
When the pain died down which took a while I had all the boys surrounding me. I hadn't told them anything. When I felt the pain leave for a while I let out a deep breath that I didn't know I was holding and relaxed. I was grinning like an idiot which made the boys more confused. Poor lads.
"Are you okay ?" Louis asked calmly. I grinned.
"I'm not a little girl any more and the change frikken hurts like hell." They soon bursted out laughing and sighed in relief.
"You scared the shit out of us." Niall exclaimed still chuckling.
"It hurts like hell." I said giggling but it soon faded as I felt another shot of pain in my stomach. I clutched it again leaning against Liam groaning.
"Come on babe, I'll take care of you." He picked me up bridal style and took me to our room. He left to god knows where while I got dressed in comfortable clothes. Emily was still asleep. I left the room and found the boys except Liam in the games room playing Fifa. I sat between Louis and Niall and Niall pulled me to his side while I put my feet on Louis's lap. They all gave me sympathetic looks and I smiled at their kindness. I'm so lucky they care so much about me.
"I'm going to the store and get you some stuff, I'll be back in like 2 seconds." Liam said coming out of the kitchen handing me a cup of tea. I thanked him and took the tea.
"We'll take care of you princess, no worries" Niall cooed.
"Thanks guys, I don't know how I would handle this alone." They smiled at me.
"We all went through this with our sisters and girlfriends so you're in good hands" I laughed as Louis made a stupid face patting my head.
"Good thing I live with professionals then." They chuckled and continued playing. Niall was rubbing my stomach and it felt comforting. I smiled up at him and he smiled back kissing my forehead. It wasn't awkward at all I'm really close with these boys, they helped me go through hell and helped me raise Emily with no questions asked. They're like my brothers.
Liam soon returned with a bag in his hands.
"I got you everything you need." I looked confused because the bag was full.
"What's all that I though I only needed tampons or pads ?" They chuckled.
"You are so new to this. I got you those aaandd a heated pad, Advil, gummy worms, crisps, chocolate, ice cream, movies and these." He said giving me flowers with a bear. God I love him. I was craving all that but I didn't bother telling him, there was a note in the flowers.

I chuckled and got out of Niall's grip and into Liam's embrace.
"Thank you" I said smiling.
"Anything for you, now lets watch a movie in our room. I think Emily should be up." I smiled at him and grabbed the stuff. Freddie started fussing and Louis was about to get up but I stopped him.
"Let me." I said grabbing a crying Freddie.
"Hey buddy, sleep well ?" He yawned and it was so cute. "Hungry ?" He babbled. " I take that as a yes" I giggled and heated up a bottle. While we waited Liam snaked his arms around me.
"You're such a great mother, makes me want a baby to be honest." I blushed because I feel the same way.
"Me too, but imagine how hard it would be. Raising a kid on the rode with our crazy lives."
"You're right but we'll have one some day." He said kissing my shoulder and cooing at Freddie.
"Yeah maybe 10" I joked. I gave the bottle to Freddie and turned to face Liam. His face was priceless.
"Are you serious ? Oh my god babe Yes !!! " He cheered.
"No I'm not serious, 11 kids. Really Liam ?" I giggled and he pouted.
"What, it could be our soccer team. and 11 ? I though you said 10- oh wait-Emily." He chuckled and I joined in.
"But seriously, no on the soccer team ?" He said with a straight face.
"In your dreams Payne." I giggled. "I don't know, maybe 3, we'll see" I nodded agreeing with him. Freddie finished his bottle and I burped him.
"Hey Louis, I'm gonna steal your kid for today and we're gonna watch movies." I said. He chuckled and nodded.
"Okay, don't scar him though, I want his eyes to stay pure so keep the movies and YOURSELVES G rated please." I laughed and nodded.
We went to our room and sure enough Emily was chatting with Cuddles and Elmo. She's too cute.
"Good morning princess." I cooed. She looked at me and Liam and spotted Freddie in my arms.
"FREDDIE" She screamed. Me and Liam pretended to be offended and she giggled.
"It's not funny missy." Liam said tickling her.
"Wanna watch movies, eat candy and ice-cream in bed all day ?" I asked her. Her eyes lit up.
"YAYYYYYYYYYY !!! But what about the letters ? You pwomised mommy." She said. Some one's hyper today.
"We will later, if you want." She nodded and we put on Frozen. Me and Liam cuddled as I had Freddie in my arms and he had Emily. We all sang along during the movie and it was really fun. We don't mind Disney movies because we love them. Freddie was giggling and babbling in his cute baby voice. We took many pictures and Liam recorded us singing to Frozen songs.
When we watched Frozen, Aladdin, Beauty and The Beast and Cinderella, I decided to surprise Liam with his favorite sequel.
"Okay how about we watch ....... Toy Story 1,2,3 ?" Liam squealed like a girl and I laughed so hard. Emily and Freddie were taking a nap in our arms. We watched them together and soon it was like 6 pm. Emily and Freddie were now awake.
"Okay, how about me and Emily do letters while you go get food Liam ?" I suggested. He nodded and left. The advil and heated pad were helping with the pain and so were the snacks, I mean hey its food, food is comforting. Freddie was playing and gurgling on his own. I had an eye on him while teaching Emily letters.
"Okay Emily this is G" I said after a while of teaching her letters. She loves learning. She's doing well and has a neat hand-writing for a 3 year old.
"How about we stop here for today, but before I teach you to write your name." She nodded.
"Okay, let's start. E" I held her hand and wrote E."M-I-L-Y" We carried on and she wrote 'Emily', 'mommy','daddy', 'uncles', 'Freddie', 'Cuddles', 'Dora' and the trickiest one 'Sponge Bob'. Basically she wanted to know how to write the names of what means most to her. She finished and I praised her. I gave her a sticker and drew a star for her after I corrected her work.
"Daddy, daddy look." She said rushing to Liam as he entered the tour bus with McDonald's. God I love him right now.
He placed the food down and picked her up. I joined them with Freddie in my arms. They were all sitting down with food in front of them.
"Well done princess." He kissed her cheek and settled her down while she ran off to brag about her work with the boys.
"Thanks for the food babe, you're a life saver." He chuckled and kissed me. I set Freddie in my arms while I fed him another bottle and ate some fries the best I could do while feeding him. Louis wanted to do it himself but I just told him that Freddie was mine for today. After a 15 minute argument I won.
After food Emily went to her play area and was drawing something. I was bouncing Freddie on my lap in mine and Liam's room and the other's were playing Fifa.
"Mommy this is for you." Emily said sitting next to me. I grabbed the paper and gasped. I wanted to cry so bad and I did. "What's wrong mummy ? Is it that bad ?" She asked innocently. How could I not cry. She drew herself sad at the orphanage and then happy with me and Liam singing on a stage, for a 3 year old it was clear enough to understand the picture. I cry every time knowing I saved her life.
"No, baby I love it. I'm just crying because I'm happy that I helped you and that I make you happy now." She hugged me and whispered, "Thank you mommy, I'm glad I ran away." I sobbed more, she could touch your heart for a 3 year old. "I'm glad too, I love you so much" "I love you too mummy, more than Cuddles, Elmo,Dora and Sponge Bob. But shhh it's a secret." I giggled through my tears at her innocence. "I promise" and we entwined our fingers.
Later I put Freddie to bed and Emily too and joined Liam, still with tears in my eyes.
"Hey babe, what's wrong ?"Everyone had eyes on me.
"Oh nothing, Emily really knows how to get me sometimes. Look what she drew." I gave him the drawing and he smiled, then passed it on to the boys and they smiled too. "She said she's glad she ran away" I sobbed remembering when I found her and saw the bruises. "She told me she loved me more than Cuddles, Elmo,Dora and Sponge Bob and to keep it a secret. She's too cute" He smiled more and hugged me. "I'm glad she ran away too." I chuckled " Yeah, I can't imagine being without her".
We sat there for a while and then soon went to bed because tomorrow we have a concert in California. Meaning rehearsals all day and then staying up late at night so we need rest.
"You know I love you right ?" Liam told me.
"Yeah, I love you too" We kissed and slept in each others arms entangled together.

This morning was full of rehearsals and sound check. I have a set of new songs this time.
I will have a duet with the boys at the end of their leg of the concert, we will be singing 'Somebody to you' by The Vamps and Demi Lovato.
For my set of songs I will be singing a couple of Selena Gomez songs and some Demi Lovato.
We are chilling in the bus playing video games, they taught me how to play Fifa and let me just tell you, they regretted it. I won the whole time. They admitted it themselves. What can I say ? I'm a fast learner.
Me and Emily continued with the letter learning and she picked up really well. Freddie almost said 'Da' and Louis was going to flip. He never said it again though which sucked because we were all waiting with our phones to record it for like 2 hours straight. I guess we scared him.
We went to the venue to get ready, the boys were trying to find out ways to beat me in Fifa, they were googling moves and stuff. I don't think they have a chance though, I'm really good.
I let them try and find a way while I went to get ready. For this concert Ashley dressed me in black shorts and a white strapless shirt.
I played with Lux, Freddie and Emily while the boys were getting ready still discussing new moves.
"Guys, give it up. I'm better than you. I beat your asses fair and square. Just admit you got beat by a girl and get over it." I said teasing them knowing they would get ticked off.
"No, I refuse to be defeated by a girl who played it for the first time and beat my ass when I have been playing that stupid thing for years." Niall said.
"Haha, you admitted I beat your ass" I laughed so hard, Lou and Ashley were laughing too. All we got were death glares.
"Geez, you're such sore losers." They glared again. Mark came in and told me it was time to go on stage. Thank God. I kissed Liam and Emily's foreheads and skipped to the stage grabbing my bedazzled mic. I wasn't nervous at all, pretty pumped actually.
"Good evening California" The crowed cheered and I introduced myself.
After a few set of songs I was up to the last one. "This one is 'Mistake' by the amazing Demi Lovato" I sang the song then closed my leg. "Thank you and Good night"
I hopped off stage and wished the guys luck for their leg of the show. I danced around with Lou and the kids to all their songs until it was time for me to go sing the duet with them.
"For our last song we are going to sing a duet with the amazing Amy Rodriguez." Harry said. I joined them on stage and waved to the crowd. "This is 'Somebody to you'"

And with that we ended the concert. The crowd was wild. It felt so amazing to experience the rush of performing with the boys. Who would have told me, after all those day of listening to the boys singing on my iPod that I would perform with them at their concert ? I guess dreams do come true but do they last ? I guess not.
