Chapter 12
“I missed this place,” Sarah sighed as she walked into her flat.
“Me too,” I walked in behind her and closed the door.
Sarah walked over to the kitchen and headed for her fridge. She grabbed a soda, but stopped for a moment. She sudden stop in movement scared me.
“Sarah?”
“Oh god.”
“What?” I hurried over to her side.
She continued to look into her fridge, “It smells awful in here. And there is mold on everything.”
I chuckled, “That’s what happens when no one tends to a fridge for two weeks.”
“Oh shut up,” she mumbled as she closed the door and headed back for the living room. I followed closely behind her. That we when I realized that I was still holding her bad of things.
“Hey, Sarah,” I started. “Where do you want me to put this?” I held up the bag.
She turned and looked at the bag for a moment, “Just set it on my bed, I guess.”
“Okay,” I started for her bedroom, “I’ll be right back.”
I walked in and sat the bag on her bed. Her room was just the way I had left it, minus a few cards that were on her bed. I guessed that the guys had done it while I had been visiting her. My thoughts were interrupted by a knocking at the door. I turned and stuck my head out the doorframe as Sarah walked over and opened the door.
“Sarah!” Louis shouted dramatically as he scoped Sarah up in a big hug. She giggled a little as she played along.
“Louis!”
I smiled at them as I headed down the hallway toward them. The guys all filed in and gave Sarah a hug, Liam coming in last and asking her if Louis had hurt her. Louis came over and smacked me on the back.
“You’re still not off the hook yet.” He gave me a funny smile. I was not liking the looks of that.
“Yeah mate,” Zayn added as he walked over to us, “You should have taken us with you.”
“Zayn,” Liam said from his place next to Sarah, “You are last person to complain about someone not being able to get you out of bed.”
We all laughed at this. It was so true, Zayn was so hard to get out of bed.
“That’s not the point,” he muttered.
“It’s okay, Zayn.” Sarah said as she walked up and patted him on the back. “We all still love you.”
“Yeah,” Louis said as he walked away from me, “We all still love you.” He slung an arm around Zayn’s shoulder and his other around Sarah’s.
We all joined in as we sat down on the couches. I was happy that Sarah owned two couches, because we could all fit in them. There was plenty of room for the five of us. I raised an eyebrow as I counted everyone one again. I counted five, knowing that there should be six.
“Hey, guys,” I started as everyone looked at me, “Where is Niall?”
They all looked around the room and realized that the blonde was missing. We all exchanged glances as Liam and I rose to our feet. We peeked out heads into the kitchen. We both smiled as we saw the blonde stuffing his face as usual. It wasn’t hard to find him when he went missing. That was when I realized that he was eating out of a container from the fridge.
“Niall!” I yelled, “What are you eating?”
He nearly jumped out of his skin as he turned to face Liam and me. That was when I saw the green on the side of the container.
“Just something from the fridge.”
I put a hand to my forehead as I shook it. This was going to be a long day.

“Hey, Sarah,” I started. “Where do you want me to put this?” I held up the bag.

I walked in and sat the bag on her bed. Her room was just the way I had left it, minus a few cards that were on her bed. I guessed that the guys had done it while I had been visiting her.
