19. Hunts
Niall's POV
Three Weeks Later
Being at the studio some would say it is my escape, my “me-time”, but I don’t see it as that. I see it as the time that I get to explain to the world the love that I have for Evelina, because nothing can express that better than songs. Even though she’s been weird these past few nights. She has been extra careful in everything she does, but also extremely happy. I guess… it’s just because we are finally us again.
As I walked out of the studio for the day, I saw Louis in the driver’s seat of my car.
“You know that this isn’t your car, right?”
“No shit, mate. My car is a hell of a lot nicer than this one.”
“Yeah, your son also can’t ride in your car. To keep up this image, Wesley has to be able to ride places with me.”
“Well, hop in. We have places to be tonight.”
“Sorry mate, I would love to hang out, but Eveli and I have a date tonight.”
“You don’t think I know that? Mate, she’s my sister. Here’s your first clue,” he said, handing me an envelope.
“What?” I asked as tore through the back of the envelope.
Clue #1
You’ve done this for me, now it’s my turn. Go with Louis to the place where your body burned. Keep all of the clues so we can learn the news!
I knew immediately where to go, as I was in terrible shape the first time we danced together.
“To the dancing studio.”

As I went to open the door, I noticed an envelope taped to the window. I pulled it off and smiled.
Clue #2
We’ve come in first place, now go to the place where we had our secret first date. ;)
As we arrived at The Forum, I smiled as the memories flooded back. Due to there being a concert taking place tonight, I went up to the ticket booth.
“Niall Horan?” the ticket lady asked as she looked at me, making me nod.
She then handed me a yellow envelope, just like the other one.
Clue #3
Glad you remember. You aren’t anywhere near being done, so go to the place where it officially become our son.
I smiled and went to the place where Wes first called me Daddy. As I entered the ER, a nurse saw me and smiled.
“Niall Horan. We’ve been expecting you,” she said, making me smile as she handed me another envelope.
Clue #4
I love you. You love me. Now go to the place that we want to become a family.
I immediately told Louis to go to the wedding chapel that we had both discussed getting married at, shortly after we got back together. We both know that it’s gonna happen, we just are waiting a while.
Clue #5
Love is so many different things, this we both know. Go to the place where everything stopped making sense.
After getting the clue from the park that we were at when we found out Wesley had been in a wreck, we continued through the next few clues. We were heading towards clue 12, when I looked at the back and saw one letter on the back. A.
That’s odd.
As we arrived at the place that had clue 12, I smiled.
Clue #12
You have one more. For the last clue, go to the lovely beach of Malibu.
Louis drove to the beach and there I saw Ryan, making my heart sink.
I was honestly hoping that she would have been here for the last clue.
Clue #13
I love you… and there is some huge news! Come home and let me share it with you!
Louis and I quickly started heading to her house. We joked and laughed the whole way there, until Louis turned serious.
“What do you think is the news?”
“I honestly have no clue. With Evelina, there is no telling.”
“If she’s pregnant and you leave or fake your death, I will kill you,” he said, making me smile.
“I call bullshit,” I said.
“Test me. Do you think that’s what it is?”
“No. We have both been super cautious with it. She said she wanted us to be married before she got pregnant again.”
“So, if she isn’t pregnant?”
“I don’t know. I guess I’ll have to find out.”
Right as I said that, we pulled up. Dani walked out of the house as the doors shut and they got into Louis’s car and drove away.
As soon as I stepped inside the house, I noticed the rose petals on the floor and the soft songs playing in the background. It was some of Rachel’s unreleased stuff, but it described us perfectly.
I followed the petals and smiled as it didn’t lead to the bedroom, but instead to the dining room.
“This woman knows the way into my heart,” I whispered.
“That’s good to know,” Evelina said quietly, making me smile and turn around.
When I did, I lost all pure thoughts of this woman. She was wearing a dress that was see through from her breasts to a little above her stomach with a leather jacket and thigh-high boots. She had a deep red lipstick on and I just wanted to take her to the room right now.
“Let’s eat, shall we?”
“God, woman, you are such a tease.”
She smiled and we ate, and I was reminded why it was such a good idea to date a woman from Southern USA, Alabama to be in exact.
After we ate, she directed me to the living room couch.
“Do you still have the clues?”
I nodded, looking her up and down.
“Before we go upstairs, let’s put those clues together.”
We sat down and I laid out all of the clues. She put them in order and smiled.
“You want to flip it over or me to?” she asked, making me curious.
“What are you talking about?” I asked, making her smile as she flipped the first card over.
I saw a W. As she continued a sentence was forming.
