Luna’s POV (One Week Later)

I’ve always been insecure. Throughout high school, I was really insecure about my body. I always thought I was too fat and my nose was too big. All the “popular” girls were skinny, perfect cheerleaders. I constantly wanted someone’s approval. Anyone’s.

By the time senior year came around, I stopped caring. I tried my best to look cute every day, but not for other’s approval anymore. I looked my best for myself. I tried to stay confident no matter what others were doing. And it worked. I grew the confidence to follow my dreams into performing. I auditioned for a spot for in One Direction and, well you know the rest.

But a week ago in the dressing room, it all came back. I felt like I was in high school again with all the mean people bullying me about my appearance. My manager told me not to show the fans that it was getting to me. That helped because then it all stopped pretty fast. Thank the lord.

We just landed in Orlando, Florida. I’m so excited, to have a couple of days off. I’ve been trying to convince the guys that we should go to Disney World during those days. They have never been and I love Disney so much.

“Niall”, I say with a smile as I cuddle into his arm on the tour bus.

“Yes, love?” he says with that Irish accent I love so much.

“We really should go to Disney the next couple of days”, I say looking up at him, “I really love it and I know you will and the guys will too of course.”

“Why do you love Disney so much?” Niall replies laughing at me.

“Oh my gosh, what’s not to like!?”, I tell him with big eyes, “Um the rides are great, the food is great, it’s magical. You’ll love it!!” I really want to go. It reminds me of my childhood and I love it.

“I’ll talk to the guys and security and if they say yes we’ll go.”

“Really!?”, I exclaim sitting up so I can look at him in the eye.

He started laughing by my reaction, “Sure, if it means that much to you I’d love to bring you.”

“Oh my gosh, thank you!” I say before giving him kisses.

All I can say is management better say yes.

We’re going to Disney World today! All the guys are coming so it’ll be so much fun, but we also have to bring a lot of security. That’s okay though because I’m going to be in Disney World Magic Kingdom in a couple minutes. Right now I’m in a dark van with security and Harry and Louis. Liam and Niall are in the other car with more security. I have to remember not to show any affection towards Niall except friendly. We’re just friends to the world. Just friends.

“We’re here.”, the driver says.

I involuntarily make the biggest smile ever as I try to look out the window. This place has so many memories with my family and that’s my favorite part.

I can’t wait to show the guys one of my favorite places on Earth.
