Katherina’s POV

It had been 3 weeks with no sign what so ever from Niall, I should have expected it but somehow it hurt a little.

And I sure as hell wasn’t going to call him, I gave him an ultimatum and the rest was up to him not me.
‘’Mommy?’’ I look down at Leah as she tugs on my pant leg, ‘’what is it dear?’’ I ask smiling not wanting to let my kids know how upset I in reality was.

‘’Where’s mister?’’ she ask looking confused, ‘’we miss him.’’

I stare at my little girl and felt my heart break, my two kids actually had got attached to him so quick.
‘’He is sick.’’ I lie caressing her cheek, ‘’he might not come back.’’ I reply looking away, feeling her pout when Elizabeth’s come in with Mason.

‘’Mason can you play with your sister Leah for a while?’’ She coos as the toddler grins, ‘’sure thing.’’ He takes his sisters hand and runs off to their room.

‘’What’s up?’’ I ask casually as I hug my legs, ‘’what’s going on with you and niall?’’ She bluntly ask as she sits down next to me.

‘’You know his the father to my children.’’ I whisper looking at her, ‘’I gave him an ultimatum.’’

‘’What?’’ She asks caressing my arm gently, ‘’I told him to tell everyone he was the father, or’’ I pause for a while before I continue ‘’leave it be, and go on with his life.’’

‘’How long have it been?’’ She ask giving a sympathetic glances, ‘’3 weeks.’’

And with that she wraps her arms around me hugging me tightly, ‘’Mason talks a lot about him.’’ She whispers not letting go.

‘’So do Leah.’’ I reply numbly.

‘’I’m sorry neither you nor the kids deserve this.’’ She won’t let me go, because she knows how much I need this and suddenly I feel it coming.

The tears.

I had cried at night and sometimes in the shower, but I had never cried in front of her or anyone for that sake.

So I just pull myself closer to her as I sniffle in her shoulder trying to control my breathing.

‘’Why are you crying mom?’’ Mason gently ask, when Elizabeth’s lets me go.

‘’Oh honey, sorry to see this. It was nothing.’’ I lie trying to smile, when my toddler looks sternly at me, ‘’I know when you lie.’’

He was smart for his age, and you couldn’t lie to him without him knowing.

‘’Mommy was crying because of a man.’’ Elizabeth takes over letting me get myself together again.

‘’A bad man?’’ Mason asks walking closer to me, ‘’you could say that.’’ Elizabeth shrugs.

‘’don’t worry mom, I will protect you.’’ Mason exclaims giving me a small hug.
‘’I know.’’ I smile faintly at the comment trying to make my life stable again.

Niall POV

I ran my hand through my hair replaying Katherina’s words over and over again I my head, some part of me wanted to run away but again I wanted to be there for her and the kids.

I wanted to be able to understand and forgive her.

‘’It’s so horrible!’’ Holly chimers as she walks by, ‘’what is it?’’ I ask confused.

‘’My friend Tasha, she had her baby and the father refuse to be a part of their life!’’ she shakes her head disapproving, ‘’Totally douchebag move! Even though she says she doesn’t need him I know she does.’’
She continues.

I nod feeling her words sting, ‘’I’m glad you’re not like that.’’ She coos planting a kiss on my lips.

‘’I was thinking we could use some time together tonight?’’ She winks, I grin nodding not really being in the mood as I flip my phone out.

I had to call the management and schedule a meeting now, with the band.

I had to make things right.

‘’ I’ll be home later, meeting.’’ I smile kissing her forehead leaving Holly in the house.

‘’So Niall what is so important?’’ Simon ask, crossing his arms eyeing me.

Everyone was there, a few of our crew and the whole band.

‘’Yeah, I had to leave Danielle suddenly.’’ Liam replies looking confused, ‘’if it’s important then why haven’t you told us yet?’’ Harry joins.

Both zayn and Louis looked as dazzled as everyone.

‘’I have to tell you something that’s in a hurry and it’s extremely important.’’ I sigh, not knowing how to continue it.

‘’I’m a dad.’’ I finally breathe out.
