Katherina POV

‘’Ugh Mason stop playing with your food!’’ I groaned looking at the two toddlers that was up to no good today, usually they were nice kids but everyone had their days and this is one of the days where they would rather throw a fit than calm down.

‘’Leah please eat some of this.’’ I sigh, trying to make the little toddler take a bite of her sandwich when she violently shakes her head no.

‘’don’t wanna.’’ She whimpers closing her mouth shut when a piece of bread flies across the table, ‘’Mason!’’ I yell staring defeated at the little boy crossing his arms.

‘’Don’t you want to eat it?’’ I plead knowing I only had little so time to get ready for my dinner with Niall, ‘’please?’’ I ask looking between my two babies.
They shake their heads as I put my hand up in defeat, ‘’okay.’’ I help them get down from their chairs as I go to open the door.

‘’Elizabeth! I swear I’ll get home by 7, not a minute later.’’ I reassure her smiling wrapping my arms around her, ‘’ It’s no problem! How the two bundles of joy today?’’ she makes her way through me looking after them.
‘’More like the two bundles of trouble.’’ I chuckle as I head for the bathroom closing it shut behind me.

I study myself in the mirror, I looked more mature now and my hair was shorter. Not short just shorter.
I put on a light make up, just some eyeliner and mascara. I didn’t want to fancy myself too much up.
I jump in a skirt and lose blouse.

‘’alright.’’ I tug a lock of my hair behind my ear as I get ready to leave.

‘’I’m going now!’’ I yell as my two kids run over to kiss my bye, I chuckle and waves to them as I run down the stairs and start walking.

The restaurant literally only was 10 minutes walking distance from my apartment, I enter it quickly nodding to the waiter.

It’s a small but quiet lovely eating place, I spot niall at the table at the back.

‘’Take your sunglasses off.’’ I chuckle as I sit in front of him, ‘’manners young man.’’

He blushes and takes them off muttering, ‘’what if the fans sees me?’’ he almost whispers.

‘’Look around Niall, I doubt any of these people are fans of yours.’’ I gestured to the room, there were a few people mostly middle aged couples and someone holding a business dinner apparently.
He grins agreeing with me as the waiter hands us the menu and stands and wait.

‘’I’d like a glass of wine for starters and a chicken salad for starters’’ I nod giving the waiter the menu back, ‘’ and then a can of water with today’s soup.’’ I smile.

‘’What about dessert?’’ He ask friendly but I just shake my head.

‘’What about you sir.’’ He ask turning his attention to niall ready to scribble his order down.

Niall looked troubled when he finally replied, ‘’ I’d like a beer for starters with some nachos and some fries.’’ I try to suppress my laugh by Niall’s rather big starter, at this restaurant, if he wanted fast-food we could just have went to McDonalds.

‘’And then I’ll have a coke with Chicken and mashed potatoes.’’ He nods seeming somehow satisfied with his order.

‘’Dessert?’’ The waiter ask and his face lights up, ‘’ two pieces of chocolate cake.’’
And with the he leaves.

‘’Oh wow Niall, you haven’t changed one bit.’’ I laugh teasing him, ‘’ you have '' he points out at my small order.

‘’I just been so busy that my appetite have gone to hell.’’ I chuckle gently, I had hardly time to eat with two toddlers at home.

The waiter comes out with our food and we dig in right away, I watch niall completely devour his food happily.

‘’So Niall how’s Holly?’’ I ask friendly taking a bite of my salad, ‘’She’s fine.’’ He replies shortly not looking like he wanted to discuss her.

‘’Are you guys okay?’’ I ask concerned, I can see his about to reply but hesitates late minute, ‘’we are great.’’ I could see he was lying so I gently put my hand over his as the waiter comes to takes our plates out so we can get our second order.¨

‘’I’m here to talk, you know.’’ I exclaim caressing his hand before letting go.

‘’Enough about me.’’ He smiles once again looking at me, ‘’have you dated anyone lately?’’

I just shakes my head laughing, ‘’no I haven’t. I tried dating someone two years ago but it didn’t work out so I’m fine being single.’’

It was true, two kids at home wasn’t a major turn on at boys so I couldn’t help it. I tried dating this guy, alfredo. He loved my kids and he loved me but it didn’t work out because he wanted his own kids and I wasn’t ready to give him that.

‘’I’m sorry to hear that.’’ He mumbles as the waiters places our second dish on the table, I smile nodding enjoying the silence while we ate.

It was nice, we wouldn’t talk about anything serious just have fun. Soon we were both finished and Niall’s two pieces of chocolate cake arrives.

Niall POV

I smile at the waiter, muttering a thank you as I look at the two pieces. As soon as the waiter left, I pushed one of the plates over to Katherina, I knew she loved chocolate cake. She worshipped it more like so I had ordered one for her and one for me.

‘’Oh niall, I can’t.’’ She laughs looking at the pieces, ‘’I’m stuffed and beside its yours!’’

I shake my head taking a bite of mine teasingly moaning, ‘’it’s good though, eat it for me.’’

She sighs taking a bite, and then I could see the pleasure washing over her face as she chews it.
I laugh and she playfully reaches over to slap my arm.

‘’Chocolate cake is your favorite after all.’’ I grin as she nods, ‘’you remember?’’ She looks a little surprised but I just shrug.

‘’I remember everything about you, every little thing.’’ I reply honestly because I did, I knew what she liked and disliked and her small daily habits.

How she would tug her hair behind her ear when she got nervous, and bite her lip when she was flirting.
I could read her as a book.

‘’Harry likes you.’’ I state, Harry did. He didn’t know her but he would love to get to know her, I told him she was off limits but he didn’t get it since I had Holly.

She blushes but grimaces at the same time, ‘’well that’s sweet of him.’’
‘’I’m not interested in dating anytime soon.’’ She chuckles, ‘’and not with a heartthrob in one direction.’’ She teases winking at me too.

I laugh, I knew she was trying to tease me also and that’s how she was so lovely. She loved to tease and have a good laugh.

‘’How was life in spain?’’ I ask, wondering why she even moved to London ‘’hard.’’ She replies short I could see she didn’t want to talk about it yet so I wasn’t going to push her.
I would get it out of her eventually.

‘’Thank you.’’ She exclaims after some silence appreciating I wasn’t going to force her.
I nod and pay the bill, ‘’this is on me.’’ I laugh.

She nods taking her jacket on again, ‘’tonight was lovely.’’ She smiles looking at me.

‘’Do you live close to here?’’ I ask curious as she nods.
‘’Would you mind if I saw your place since we already are here?’’

I look at her as she considers its, she hesitates but soon she gives in ‘’ Okay.’’
The walk over to her flat was nice, the wind was cold and breezing.

We run up some stairs as she fumbles with her keys looking rather nervous as the door clicks open.
