Chapter 14 - Secrets
*Note: This takes place at the same time as the last chapter.*
We were waiting for the 5SOS boys in the rec room backstage. I glance around the room for what must be the fifth time. There were two tables full of food on one end and the couch, chairs, television, and Xbox on the other side. I still don't get why they get all this stuff when we get cheap Mexican food and a radio.
The boys walked in with their instruments and almost immediately Ashton starts a conversation with Jordan. God damn it. I'm starting to get a crush on Jordan and I know she has a thing for Ashton. I mean I still have a chance but Ashton is at a major advantage. On Wednesday we read a couple more entries in her diary and found out that she likes tall guys with accents that are protective. Another thing she likes, drummers and boys with glasses. Compared to Ashton I'm not even worth a second glance.
Luke sat down next to me on the couch and we both started talking at the same time.
“So who are you guy’s guests?”
“Does Ash normally call out girls?”
“You go first.” I said quickly, wanting an answer.
“Alright,” he nodded and started to answer my question, “Ashton has never called out a girl like that at a show. Michael has done it before, but that was to his girlfriend, and as far as I know, Ashton is currently single. Now you go.”
I was just about explain who Jordan and Dot were, when Luke’s eyes widened. I turned around to see what he was looking. My eyes fell upon Ashton and Jordan pressed against a wall, lips connected. Ashton looked as though he wanted to further the kiss, but it looked as though Jordan was not going to let that happen.
Just as I was standing up to stop them, they broke away. I must have looked on edge because just as they broke away Luke asked,
“So who’s the girl you and Ash are fighting over?”
“Her name is Jordan, and we are NOT fighting over her. I don't even like her. She was just the winner of the contest, so we get to live with her for two weeks.”
He looked at me and gave me a cheeky grin.
“Whatever you say dude.” He winked at me and I hit him on the arm.
