"I promise you Lana, we'll get out of here..."

"Calum... This is not your fault." I sigh.
"I needed to protect you and I can't even prevent you from getting raped by a psychopath."
"Calum... We can't do anything about this, but I love you... And we're going to be just fine."
"It's not okay... I'm supposed to be saving you."
"Calum.. We're going to be fine.. I promise you that we'll tell everyone that you saved me." I smirk before pecking his lips.
He chuckles.
"Lana.. I need to speak to you for a second." I hear Dean.
I turn around and frown.
"Okay..." I quickly kiss Calum one more time before following Dean.


-Calum's POV-

I see how she walks away and smile.
Right now, I would love to believe that what she said was true.
That we're gonna be free and that we're gonna be okay.
I sigh and close my eyes, replaying everything.
How we met, How we were hating each other, how I fell in love with her....
And now?
Now we're here, our life hanging on a thread.. Or, at least mine is. One wrong move and...


I don't know when but soon I fall asleep.




I walk with a little girl through a forest. She's around 5 years old.
I frown and look around.
I don't know where I am.
"Can we go get an ice cream?" The little girl asks me with a high voice.
"Uhh.. Sure.." I look around, trying to figure out which way we should walk.
I take her hand and we walk through the forest.
When I finally see the end of it I sigh in relief.
"C'mon!" The girl begins to run.
"Hey, wait up!" I yell.
I run after her and come out into a street which I do know; it's two blocks away from my house.


I see the girl run into the house in front of me and run after her.
I run into the living room and see her sitting on the ground, playing with some toys.
"Daddy look! It's mister Bubbles!" She holds up a plastic dog.
Daddy?
I look around, figuring out if she meant someone who was standing behind me or something.
"I thought he was mister Brabble yesterday." I hear a voice coming from the other side of the room.
I look up and see Lana laughing softly.
"No, this is mister Brabble." The girl holds up another plastic dog.
Lana stands up and walks to me.
She smiles and kisses me softly.
"Mommy, can we go get an ice cream?" The girl now stands next to Lana.
"Of course sweetheart." She lifts up the girl and smiles at me.
I see a ring on her finger.
"Hey.." I take her hand and look at the ring.
"With who have you been married?" I ask as my anger fills my veins.
"With this really handsome guy.." She smirks.
"Who?"
"I met him at school."
"Where is that dick?!"
"Standing right in front of me." She holds up my hand and I see a ring around my finger too.
"We're married?"
"Glad you noticed." She rolls her eyes.
"And.. I'm her dad?" I point at the girl.
"Glad you noticed that too. What next? You're gonna tell me that you didn't know that I'm pregnant?"
I don't say anything and look at her belly.
"Calum!" She slaps my arm.
"Where were you those last 5 years?" She smirks.
I don't answer and smile from ear to ear.
"I love you." I mumble before placing my lips on hers.
"I love you too." She mumbles through the kisses.
"Can we get an ice cream now?" The girl asks.
Suddenly I knew her name.
Melanie.
"Yeah, go put your jacket on." Lana puts her on the ground and she runs happily away.
"Daddy C'mon, we gotta be there before mister bubbles ate all of it!!" She yells and I smirk.
"Guess that's mine cue." I smirk before pecking Lana's lips again.
"Go Daddy." She smirks back.


When we got our ice cream we walk back.
"Do you love mommy?" Melanie asks me.
"Of course."
"And me?"
"Of course."
"But who do you love more?"
"That's an unfair question princess. I love you both equally."
She nods her head and takes my hand.


When we're home I freeze. The door's standing open. I closed it befor I left.
"Sweetheart, wait here for a second okay. Don't move." I say to Melanie.
She frowns and nods her head.
I walk inside as see that funiture is thrown around. Vases that I recognise are broken.
"Lana!" I run into the living room.
I freeze again.
Blood is everywhere.
'You'll never escape.' Is written on the wall.
Then I see Lana laying on the floor.
Dead.
A deep hole in her belly, where blood is pouring from her body.
"Lana?" I run to her as tears fill my eyes.
"No.." I whisper as I take her head and lay it on my lap.
"Noo!" I yell while tears are falling down.
"Daddy?" I hear Melanie.
I run to her and turn her away from Lana.
I take her away from our home, back into the forest.
"No!" I yell again as I fall down.


I wake up by Lana shaking me at my shoulders.
"Finally." She sighs.
I look around, I'm in the basement.
"You're okay." I sigh in relief.
"You didn't wake up, but you kept yelling no."
"It was jut a dream, a nightmare." I smile at her.
"?. Okay.."
"I love you Lana."
"I love you too."
She gives me a light kiss.


"I have an idea...." We hear Dean come in....
