We hear Dean come in....

-Lana's POV-


I look up.
"what were you thinking?" I ask.
"If you get out now, they won't notice.. They're not home." Dean smirks.
"What?" I lift my eyebrows.
"I mean.. If you escaped from me somehow, you can run away... And nobody will notice because everyone's gone.." He walks to Calum and cuts his tape.
"You're letting us go?"
"No, you escaped from me."
Calum stands up.
"What if this is some kind of trick?" He asks.
"They're on a school trip."
Calum frowns, still not thrusting it.
"Go ahead and look upstairs if you don't believe me... I wanna ask you one more thing though..." Dean shrugs.
"And what's that?" Calum spats.
"Beat me up."
"What?" I ask.
"No problem." Calum shrugs and and punches Dean across his face.
"Calum!" I say.
"What? He asked for it."
"It's okay L. He's right." Dean says while he gets back up.
"Again." He adds.


So Calum beats Dean up, even though I protested the whole time.
"Now, go." Dean breathes Afterwards.
"Thank you." I hug him.
"Anything for you, promise me you'll stop by sometime though." He smiles.
"Thanks man." Calum mumbles.
"No problem, just.., take care of her, for me?" Dean asks.
"Of course." Calum takes my hand.
"Go." Dean says.
I give him one more smile before running away with Calum.


We run back home and when we're almost there Calum lifts me up.
I scream and he chuckles.
"We're free." He mumbles.
"I know." I smile before kissing him.
"C'mon, let's go home." He smiles and puts me back onto the ground.


We walk in the house and I smile.
"I love you." Calum mumbles while he pulls me close.
"I love you too." I smile while I lay my arms around his neck.
"Hey Luke, you're back already?" We hear Ashton walk into the hallway, not looking up from his phone.
"So sad that we're not Luke." Calum smirks.
Ashton looks up and a smile forms on his face.
"You're back."
"Glad you noticed." Calum rolls his eyes.
"C'mon, we literally just came in." I smile.


After we greeted everyone, we watched a movie.
"Lana, can I speak with you for a moment?" Calum asks suddenly.
"uhh, sure." He takes my hand and leads me to his room upstairs.
We sit in silence on his bed, waiting for him to do something, to say something.
"You wanna talk?" I remind him.
"Uhh, yeah... Just don't know how to start.." He smiles softly.
"You can tell me anything.."
"I know.. I'm just nervous.."
"Why would you?" I laugh.
I don't see him laugh and begin to get nervous too.
"I.. Umm... I- I.. Just wanted to ask something really stupid.. But uh... I love you and.. I just wanted to know if... You would like to.-.."
"Calum , just say it.."
He takes a deep breath.
"Will you marry me?"
I look at him for a second.
"I know.. It's stupid, but I just wanted to know if there.. If you... If we.. We could maybe.. I don't know... I'm sorry.. It's stupid.. I never should've ask it. I-"
I cut him off by kissing him.
"Calum.. I would love to.." I smile.
"Really?"
"But..."
"Oh god."
"We're 18 Calum.. Isn't it very young to get engaged? And where are we going to get the money from?"
"I don't mean that we need to get married now.. I just wanted to know if there was a chance of ever.. And you don't need to worry about the money.. I'll take care of that." He smirks at the end.
"Then I would love to marry you." I smile while I softly kiss him.
I feel him slide something around my finger and when we break the kiss I see it's a ring.

"Calum, that's way too expensive." I say while I stare at it.
"Don't you like it?"
"It's beautiful, really, but it's way too expensive, I don't want you to spend so much on me." I mumble.
"Baby, nothing is too expensive for you."
"I'm serious Calum."
"Who said that I even paid for it?"
I stare at him.
"I'm kidding, I'm kidding." He chuckles while he pulls me close.
I sigh in relief and close my eyes for a second.
"C'mon, we gotta tell the guys."
"They knew you were gonna ask?"
He nods his head.
We walk downstairs and the guys look up.
"What did she say?" Michael asks.
"By the look on their faces, I guess she said yes." Ashton smirks.
Calum smiles and nods his head.
We finish the movie and go to bed.
When we're laying next to each other. I smile and close my eyes.
"Lana?" Calum asks suddenly.
"Yeah?"
"Lana?"
"What?"
"Lana!" He yells.
"What!?" I look at him, totally awake again.
"Lana!"
"Lana!"
I don't know what to do and keep asking what's wrong...
"Lana!"
"Lana!"




I wake up and hear Dean.
"Lana. Lana." He says softly.
I hear beeps, around me and open my eyes.
I look around and see Dean sitting in a chair. I see Emily standing at the foot of the bed.
I recognise that I'm in a hospital.
I see Dylan holding my hand and pull mine out of his.
And last, I recognise Charlie sitting next to me with my other hand in her hand.
what?
"You're awake." She smiles with tears in her eyes.
"What.. What happened? Why are you here? -I look at Charlie- You're dead! And you -I point at Dylan-, don't fucking touch me you psychopath... Why am I here? Where's Calum? Where's Ashton?" I begin to go crazy.
"What the hell are you talking about? You've been in the hospital for about 2 months. You got into a fight with Calum at school the day that Dylan hand you his car keys." Dean laughs softly.
"But, The assignment, the plan, the attack,..." I stop.
I realise something.


Calum and I...... Never happened.
