Promise Me

After school Adelaide and I head to StarBucks where we usually do our homework. "Oh my goodness. I have an essay due on Friday and all I have written down is my name!" I exclaim.
"What's the topic about anyway?" "Ancient Rome. What were their cultures? What did they do for entertainment ? What rights did men have? What rights did women have? And blah, blah, blah."
"Oh, okay. Let me get you an Ice Coffee. Maybe it'll clear you're mind." "Okay. And a bagel too!"
"Sure!" I am so glad that I have Adelaide. She always knows what to do.

I was searching the Roman cultures on Google. I know, I know. Not a really good resource. But it's a very good one. Does that even make sense? Whatever. Suddenly the doors were opened. I couldn't see very well who came in. But why do I even care again? Adelaide came toward me. The look on her face told me already something was wrong. "Adelaide? What happened?" I asked as she handed me over my coffee.
"Um, nothing." Addy said nervously. "Addy? What happened? You need to tell me!" "Okay! Just promise you won't get angry or freak out or do anything illegal?" "I promise." "Okay, I was at the counter paying for you're food and stuff when... Um I saw Luke." "That's-" "With Arzaylea."

My blood was boiling. I was so angry. If I was in a cartoon I would've had a face red as a tomato and steam coming out of my ears. I wanted to scream. But then again, I only met Luke today. Why would I care if Luke started to hang out with Arzaylea? Because he is my friend and I don't want him to become one of Arzaylea's toys. Luckily Addy forgot my bagel and I told her I was going to get it. Then I saw it. They were sitting on a table for two. I was furious. They were laughing about something. "Let's take a selfie." Said Arzaylea. Luke went over to her side and they took a picture.

"Ma'ma? What would you like to order?" "A bagel please." "Sure coming right up." "Thank you." Soon my bagel came and I gave the woman the money. I angrily sat at my place. "What happened?" "Argh, can we just leave?" "Sure. Wanna do homework at my place or yours?" "Mine. Oh and invite Mikey and Ash?" "Sure thing." We grabbed our stuff and left.

We got to my place and was greeted by my older brother. Clarence. "Aren't you supposed to be in college?" I ask as Addy and I head to the living room. "No," Replied Clarence as he chewed on his peanuts. "Why are you even here? Suspended again?" "Yup," I groan. "When are you gonna learn that is not going to look pretty on you're record?" Said Addy. "I don't know Addy. I just wanna live my life. Anyway I gotta bounce. My friend invited me over." "Don't come home drunk or high mister!" I called after him. "I promise I won't!" He called back before he slammed the door and left me and Addy to do our homework.

"I can't anymore!" Yelled Addy as she threw the textbook across the room. Mikey and Ash had plans so they couldn't come. Addy and I are having a hard time doing homework without them.
"Addy? Let's take a break. We only have like two more pages. So let's got to the park yeah?" Addy nodded. We grabbed our phones and our keys and left.

Hii! Soooo. I have to say a few things. 1: If any of you are Arzaylea stans I suggest you leave. Cause real shit is about to go down. So if you support her... Just dont continue reading although she might turn good (not that I know ;-)). If you want just continue reading. 2 I might have many mistakes in spelling or grammer because this is my first story on this website. I know it's not different, but chill. Don't go crazy on me telling me like 'Oh this is the same thing!' And everything.
