Promise Me

Katrina's P.O.V
I get up to the beeping sound of my alarm clock. I groan. "5 more minutes!" I mumble into my pillow. I realized that I didn't have five more minutes. I was late. I quickly got up to use the bathroom. I strip down and took a 5 minute semi-cold shower. I do all of my girl necessities like makeup, and my hair. I chose a simple white shirt to wear. I also wore my black skinny jeans, and chose to wear my black converse.

I grab my black backpack and beanie. I head out to school. Oh shit. My breakfast. I stop by my nearest Starbucks. I quickly order a blueberry muffin and ice coffee. I eat and drink on the way. I call Adelaide and tell her I'll meet her at my locker. I finished my muffin and threw the wrapper in the nearest garbage can.

I finally got to school and I saw Adelaide standing at my locker. "Hey," I breathed out. "Hi! I have been waiting for 10 minutes!" "Sorry." Both our lockers were right next to each other which we didn't have any trouble with at all. Adelaide was my best friend. Since we were 2 years old. We both had hard working parents and we met at our parent's job. My mom was a doctor and so was Adelaide's mom. My dad was lawyer and Adelaide's dad was a DA (District Attorney). They worked on most cases together. Like our parents, we were inseparable.

The bell rings and we headed to our first class together. Math. I dreaded math. I mean I like to work and I liked being there, but I just don't like it. I liked Honor Choir or Ancient History. I took a seat in the back so I can doodle. Before Mrs Jaimeson could start teaching, the principal came in. "Hi class." "Hello Mrs Parker," "You have a student that is going to be apart of your math class. Luke? You can come in." A tall blonde looking boy came in. I studied him. I like to do that although I don't know why.

He had a lip ring. I found it cute. He had this style. Like his hair was in a quiff. "Luke you can sit next to... Um." Mrs Parker looked straight at me. Adelaide was staring at me too. "You can sit next o Katrina." Mrs Parker pointed at me. Luke sat next to me. "Welcome Luke! I hope you have a great year here!" Luke just nodded.

"Your luckily, Luke's kinda cute." Adelaide whispered. "Kinda?" Adelaide chuckled and turned back to her work. "Hey, I know this my first day and I know I should be prepared, but I have no pencil or pen. Can I borrow one?" Luke whispered. I turn to face him. His face was five inches from mine. My heart started to beat faster. "Luke? Katrina? Any sexual contact should be done after school.Not even at all at your young of an age." I turned to face the teacher and blushed. My classmates were chuckling to their selves. "Okay okay calm down everyone. Now please continue your work."

"Sorry for embarrassing you." "Nah, it's okay. Here's a pencil."

Sooooooooo. I hope my first chapter was good. I feel like it's a bit short though. Don't worry my next chapter will be longer... :-)
