Jessa’s POV

I smiled when I saw Harry and Zayn standing on my porch. Zayn’s eyes wandered over my body before meeting mine, my cheeks flushed when Harry coughed. He stepped forward and hugged me lightly before stepping past me into the house. I looked at Zayn and slipped my hands into my back pockets, hooking my thumbs into my pockets.

“Hey.” I mumbled to him.

“Hi.” He shook his head slowly and moved toward me. “I’m sorry we haven't talked lately.”

“It’s fine.”

“It’s not but okay.” He wrapped his arms around my waist while I hugged him back. “I missed you.”

“I missed you too Zayn.” I whispered slipping my hands into the back of his hair.

When we let go of each other, our eyes met again and we leaned in to kiss each other. We leaned back again and I let him into the house. His hand grabbed mine and entwined our fingers while we walked toward the living room.


Jessa’s POV

“Stop it Rian!” I yelled trying to swerve away from the muscly skater but didn't get away fast enough, he grabbed my hand like I was going to continue to pull him.

I slipped my hand out of his grasp and sped up, making a laugh erupt from Zack’s chest. When I looked at Rian he flipped me off and pouted.

“That’s so satisfying.” I teased looking over at Vic who was skating next to me.

“Having fun babygirl?” He asked with a sincere smile while I nodded back at him. “Good.”

“Can we stop for lunch soon?” I felt like a kid asking that.

“Sure.” He shrugged and slowed down to be with the “adults”.

I looked to my left and saw Zayn looking down at his feet, the wind was rushing through his hair making it fluffy. He looked up and caught me looking at him but didn't seem to mind, just smiled. We reached out and grabbed each others hands before looking ahead of us toward the sunset.


We walked out of the little restaurant we’d just eaten at and sat down on the rough curb. It scratched the back of my thighs as I sat between Zayn and Vic. I rested my head on Zayn’s shoulder and had my arm wrapped around his when Jaime sat between Vic and I.

“Hey Chica.” He bumped my shoulder as he said it with a devious smile on his tanned skin.

“What’s up Spike?” I picked my head up and looked at him.

“Welllllll, we want to go to the beach tomorrow.” He was acting like he wanted something. “Will you three come with us?”

I looked up at Zayn and felt him shrug at the question. When I looked at Jaime he looked incredibly excited. Zayn and I nodded quickly before looking at Harry who wasn’t even paying attention to us.

“Harry” Zayn startled him and laughed. “Comin’ to the beach with us tomorrow?”

“Yea! Definitely.” Harry seemed excited too.

“Yay!” Jaime cheered and stood up.

I turned around when someone touched my shoulder; Rian was holding my skateboard out to me. With his help, I stood up and took it from him with a quick “thanks”. I looked at the group as they all started getting ready.

“Ready?” I asked, receiving nods from them.

I jogged off in the direction of home and jumped on the board. Zayn was close behind me as we rode down the street.
