As little children we play in the water and scream at each other.

After we're done swimming, we walk back to the terrace. I grab a towel and sit in one of the chairs in the sun. I close my eyes and think about my parents. I didn't spoke to them after I told them that I'd move to Miami. They didn't agree on that one, so let's say that we had a little argument. Mel sits next to me and we sit there for a few hours until it's almost dark.


Around 7 p.m. we walk back inside. I dress in some short sweatpants and a top. I walk downstairs and begin to read a book. I just have nothing better to do with my life than reading a book. Wow. I'm so boring.


~The next morning 10 a.m.~

I sit on the couch when the doorbell rings, that needs to be Dean.
I walk to the door and open it.
"Hey Demi."
"Hey Dean, come in." I say letting him in. We wall to the recording studio and I call Mel.
"Mel Dean's Here!!!"


Dean explains how the buttons work and believe it or not,when you know how it works, it's pretty easy. We record songs all day long and at the end we only record one song totally; Good girl.
"That's it for today girls. Let's do the rest tomorrow and then we can let it sound the way we want."
"Okay, sure. Thank you so much for working with us. Without you we definitely would've broke this thing." I say while I walk out of the little room.
"No problem. You're fun to work with."
"What?"
"I mean, you're the first person who's just herself. I've worked with many people and they all changed, but I don't see in how you would change.
"Thanks." I smile while leading him out of the front door.
"Tomorrow same time?"
"Sounds good to me."
"Okay, bye Demi."
"Bye Dean."


I walk to my room and go directly to my bed. As soon as I hit the pillows, I'm sleeping.


~a few days later~

We had the songs totally recorded and they sound perfect. I wake up from the sound from the doorbell. I walk to the door and open it.
"HARRY!!!" I scream and jump in his arms.
"Hey Deems, I brought something for you." He says and steps aside.
"SPIKEY!!!" I scream.
"come in." I say to Harry while spike's already running through the house. I hug Harry tight and say
"I missed you so much!"
"I missed you too." He says.
"Come on, I'll show you your room."


I show him his room and let him alone so he can unpack.
I whistle to spike and say to him
"C'mon boy, let's go to the beach!"
We walk to the beach and he jumps into the water like a little puppy. It's been long ago since he swam for the last time. The last time was 4 years ago in summer vacation. We went to Croatia, Privlaka to be exactly.
I laugh and then I feel someone behind me. I turn around and scream.
"THEO! YOU SCARED THE FUCKING LIVING HELL OUT OF MY ASS!!!"
Spike immediately jumps in front of my and growls.
"Spike, it's okay, he's a friend." I calm him.
"Hey, and who are you?" Theo kneels down and pets Spike.
"That's spike, my dog." I say.
"He's cute." Theo says standing up.
"Thanks." I say.
"Demi!" I hear Harry scream.
"Is that your boyfriend?" Theo asks, looking at Harry.
"Harry? No he isn't. Luke Hemmings is my boyfriend, but he's in Spain at the moment."
"Oh, now I regonize you! You're that girl from the interview, with the amazing voice!"
"I think so and thanks."
"No problem, but I gotta go. See ya later Demi, Bye Spike."
"Bye Theo." I Say walking back to the house.
I walk to Harry and he asks
"Who was that?"
"That? That's Theo. I met him a few days ago while I was running at the beach."
He nods his head and we walk inside. I walk inside and Mel is watching tv.
"Demi, you might wanna see this." Mel says.
I walk to the tv and again there's an interview with 5sos.
"What's so wrong about this?" I ask.
"Just listen." She says.

"So, Luke, you're having something with Demi. But we just found this picture from a guy and Demi, watch it." The interviewer says and a picture of my and Harry plops in.
"Oh god not again." I say.
"That's from this morning." Harry says. I nod my head.
"You didn't tell Luke that Harry was coming?" Mel asks. I shake my head.
"Smart."
"Shut up." I reply.
"So what's your reaction on this?" The interviewer asks.
"Well, I know that's Harry, one of Demi's best friends, and I also know that his parents just past away. So knowing Demi, I know sure she asked him to come to Miami, just to forget everything because she can't stand if people where she cares about are sad." Luke says.
"Okay, well, we've found another one of Demi and a guy." The interviewer says and now a picture of me and Theo plops in.
"Oh god, can't this be any worse?" I sigh.
"You also didn't tell them about Theo?" Mel asks and again I shake my head.
"Uhm, I don't know who that is..." Luke says and I can see he's getting insecure. Shit.
"We also have another one." The interviewer says and a picture of me and Theo plops in again. This was when I just fell in his arms accidentally.
"Uhh... I really don't know what to say on that." Luke says and he stands up and walks away.
Great, now he thinks that I'm cheating on him. God, can this get any worse?
