~after the flight~

So I'm now 3 hours home and tomorrow I have school. My parents picked me up from the airport. Of course, they wanted to know everything. So I told them everything......... except Luke.
I just couldn't. Anyways I'm almost unpacked everything and packed my bag for school tomorrow already. So I decided to text the guys that I'm home.
Me: hey guys, I'm home! :/
Ash: I'm happy you came home safely.
Cal: Hope you enjoy it there!
Me: yeah sure.... On school :(
Mikey: oh c'mon school isn't that bad.
Me: sure.....
Mikey: okay, I was lying. School sucks.

then I get a private text from Luke.

Luke: hey babe! Happy you came home safely :)
Me: I'm not. I want to be with you, in Australie :(
Luke: I know. I want that too, but you know that can't. :(
Me: I know....
Luke: you have school tomorrow, right?
Me: yeah..
Luke: text me when you have break okay?
Me: Okay. But I gotta go, miss you so much baby! Love you!
Luke: cheesy much?
Me: shut up! I'm just trying to show you that I care about you.
Luke: I know babe. And I love you too.
Me: bye.
Luke: bye babe.

I put my phone in my pocket and go downstairs. I see my mum's sitting at the Dinner table. I sigh and grab some cookies from the table.
"Why am I having this feeling you didn't tell me everything about your trip?" She says. Shit! Why does she knows me so well?
"I have no idea what you're talking about" I answer.
"c'mon honey, I know you way too well. I know something's bothering you."
"Okay fine, there is something."
"Tell me."
"Well.... You know Luke, the lead singer of that band?"
"yes."
"Well, we're kinda a thing..."
"kinda?"
"Okay, we're having something.."
"and...."
I sigh. Why can't she just back off? So I tell her the whole story from begin to end. Everything.
So after I told her everything she says.
"I think you made the right choice."
"Wait, what?"
"yeah, I see the way you talk about him. You need to feel something special for him."
"Wow, never thought I would hear that."
"what did you thought? That I was gonna yell at you?"
I nod slowly my head.
"Hun, it's your own life. You decide with who your first time is. Not me." She says standing up and walking away.

~the next morning~

I'm in chemistry class, with Harry. My new lab partner. Yay! I sigh.
"What's wrong?" Harry whispers. Great. he's talking to me.
"None of your business." I whisper back.
"oh c'mon. You can tell me."
"No."
"Pleaseeee?"
"No."
"Why not?"
"because I don't want to tell you."
"Why don't you trust me?"
"because I barely know you!" I say a little bit harder then expected. Mrs. Seaford turns around and says
"Something you wanna say Mrs. Haywood?"
"No Mrs. Seaford."
"good then pay attention." She says turning around again. I give Harry one of my famous glares and focus on the board.


~break~

we're sitting at a table in the cafeteria, when Amanda Croci, the most evil person I ever known, walks our way.
"Hey Demi, so I heard you went on vacation. To Australia. For a band." She says.
"yeah.. So?" I ask, definitely not interested.
"Well, Andrew says you have something with Luke Hemmings." She smiles.
"How the hell do you know Andrew?"
"Ow, he's my stepbrothers cousin. So we visit him sometimes. Look, Demi, What I'm trying to say is that you keep your hands off Luke, understood? He's mine!" She threatened and then she walks away.
"What a bitch." Mel says. I only nod and text Luke.
Me: hey baby! I have break now. ;)
Luke: Awesome.. I still miss you.
Me: I miss you too. Hey, do you know an Amanda Croci?
Luke: Babe, I can explain.
Me: you better can.
Luke: we're talking about Andrews step cousin right?
Me: yes.
Luke: That chick is already after me since the day I met her. I told her like a thousand times to back off, but she doesn't listen. Did she do something to you?
Me: Well.... She threatened me. She told me that I need to keep my hands off from you.
Luke: I'm so sorry baby, Text me when she does it again.
Me: I will. But I gotta go breaks over. Love you! Xx
Luke: bye babe, love you too.


~three months later~

Luke and I keep in touch pretty well. We Skype almost every single day, and if we don't Skype, we text. I'm also doing better on school, I found out Harry is pretty easy to talk with and now we're pretty good friends. But like only friends, nothing more. Amanda didn't threatened me anymore. Luke texted me that he took care of it and now she just ignores me like normal.
I still miss Luke tho. I can see Mel misses Mikey too. We miss them all.


I lay on my bed when my dad calls me. Well, he isn't my real dad, but that's another story.
"Demi, can you come down for a second please?"
I hope I'm not in trouble. I walk downstairs and see my mum and dad at the dinner table. Hell yeah I'm in trouble.
"Demi, take a seat please." My dad says.
"what's wrong?" I ask sitting down at the table.
"Look, Demi, your grades are going the good way, but we can see you're not. We know this is because of Luke and maybe the others too...." My mum slowly begins
"So... That's why we, in corporation with their parents, decided that you may go to Australia again in the summer vacation." My dad finishes
"Wait, really? And what about Mel? May she go too?" I ask.
"Yes you two are both going if you wanted to...." My dad says.
"IEEEE!!!!!! OMG I CANT BELIEVE IM GOING AGAIN!!!! THATS GOING TO BE SO AWESOME!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH MUM AND DAD!!!!" I give them a hug and run upstairs.
I text Mel immediately.
Me: MEL CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? WERE GOING AGAIN!!!!!!
Mel: IEEEE!!!!!! IKR?
Me: did you tell the guys already?
Mel: I was just planning on it.
Me: DONT, TELL MIKE AND LUKE!!!!
Mel: why not?
Me: So we can surprise them of course!!!!
Mel: OMG YAS!!!!
Me: we only tell Ash and Cal we're coming.
Mel: ok, I'll text Cal. Do you text Ash?
Me: I'm on it!

So I wanted to text Ash but then I realized It's better when I phone him. He picked up immediately.

"Hey Ash"
"Hey Demi! What's wrong?"
"Ash, where are you now and who's with you?"
"uhmm... I'm at band practice and we're all sitting in a circle right now.."
"All of you?"
"uhh yes all of us why?"
"can they hear me?"
"Probably."


-ASHTONS POV-

I look over to Luke, who's looking at me with a confused look. I lifted my shoulders to him and then Cal says
"Ash, can I talk to you for a sec?"
"sure." "Demi I'm sorry but I gotta go. Will do. Bye!" I hang up the phone and say to Luke. "I needed to tell you that she loves you and misses you."
"Why can't she tell me that herself?" He asks.
"I don't know Luke, but I think she phoned me for something else."
"Ash, I need to talk to you. in private." Cal says again.

We walk to the kitchen and Cal begins to talk
"So... Demi phoned you because..."
"because of what?"
"because they're coming again in winter break. But they wanted it to be a surprise for Luke and Michael."
"That's awesome! Luke will be so happy to see her again. I mean we all will be, but Luke has it pretty hard without her."
"I know. The first weeks he was just like a lost puppy."
"who was like a lost puppy?" Luke says behind me.
"oh.... Nobody." I say.
"sure.... Anyway are you guys coming or what?"
"yup, let's go."


-DEMIS POV-

After an hour I got a text from Ash.
Ash: Awesome you're coming back to Australia. Luke really was a lost puppy the first few weeks without you. He'll be so happy to see you again.
Me: I hope so. I will be happy to see him. But how do you know?
Ash: Cal told me.
Me: ohh....
Ash: I gotta go, bye!
Me: bye Ash!

I lay down on my bed. Just 3 moths and then I'll see Luke again....
I can survive that. I hope....
