Hey You.....

"Stay with me, Demi, please, stay with me."

"Luke, you know I can't." I say with tears in my eyes.
"I have school, Luke. And my family."
"we'll visit them and you can go to my school." He says like it was nothing.
"Luke, I barely understand English. Going to a school where I only can speak English isn't going to help. Luke, you don't know how much I want to be with you, but be realistic, that's never going to work."
"I know... I just want you near me. I want you in my arms when you fall asleep, not in someone else arms. I want to see you laugh when I'm doing stupid things again. I want YOU."
"I know baby, I want you too. But I need to go back tomorrow."
"I know." He says with his eyes on the floor.
I lift up his chin and kiss him.
"I love YOU, no one else." I say into his eyes
"I love you too." He smiles again, but still with tears in his eyes.
"c'mon let's go home." I smile, grabbing his hand and walk out of the restaurant.


When we're home I walk to my room and he follows me. I put on some pj's and we walk back to his. He lifted up his shirt, over his head and jumps on the bed. I lay down and almost fell asleep when he asks
"what do you like about me?"
"Well, I like the way your hair is and...."
"No, I mean why do you love me?"
"ow.... Well, I feel safe with you, you're always sweet and caring around me. And I feel like I could say anything to you, and you wouldn't tell a soul."
He nods.
"So, why do you love me?" I ask.
"because you're the most amazing, sweetest, caring, and most beautiful person I've ever met."
"Awhhh, you are a big softie."
"shut up." He grumbles turning his back to me.
I wrap my arms around him and say:
"I'm sorry........ I love you.."
"I'm leaving tomorrow....."
He turns around, wraps his arms around me and says:
"I love you too."


~the next morning~

I wake up in an empty bed. As usual I walk back to my room and dress myself. I put on the rings Luke give my the other night and go downstairs. Liz is in the kitchen and when I walk in she says
"And, did you pack everything?"
"ow no.... I totally forgot!" I whine.
"no worries, if I was you I wouldn't had packed either yesterday. I mean with the things Luke planned. I'll help you packing."
"You knew?"
"Oh yes dear, he has been planning that for days."
I blush a little.
"c'mon then I'll help you pack." She says.
"thanks Liz."


After we packed everything it's time to go. I don't wanna leave this place. I don't wanna leave these people. I don't wanna leave Luke.

We drive to the airport and check in already. Then we all go and sit in some of the chairs. Luke's holding my hand the whole time, not that I mind, I like it.


Ten minutes past and our flight is called
"passengers from flight 4221 to Holland please go to gate 5, we'll be leaving in 15 minutes."
Mel and I stand up just like the others. I look over to Luke and see he's crying. I hug him tight and say:
"Luke, baby, it's going to be alright. I'll skype with you everyday. Please, stop crying. You only making me cry too." I say while my eyes are filling up with tears, but I don't care.
"I know. It's just these past few days have been amazing and I just don't know what to do when you're gone."
"baby, I promise I'll come back. And I'll have the same problem when I'm back home. I love you so much." I say kissing him.
"I love you too."


I look over and see that Mel and Mikey are kissing too.
"Luke, look" I say pointing in their direction.
"Well Well Well, so he did had the courage to say it."
"say what?"
"that he loves her." He smirks.
"passengers from flight 4221 to Holland, please go to gate 5. We'll be leaving in 10 minutes."
"Well it seems like I really need to go now."
"I know. I love you so much, come save home for me."
"I love you too and I will." I say walking to the others and hugging them too."
"I'm going to miss you guys so much." I say.
"WE're going to miss you." Mel says
"that's what I mean." I reply.
"thank you so much for letting us stay here." I say to their parents.
"No problem sweetheart, have a safe flight." She says.
I kiss Luke one more time, or... It's supposed to be one time, but he pulls me into him and keeps kissing me.
"Luke.... I... Gotta... Go..." I say between the kisses through.
"I know, I just hoped you'd miss your flight." He says smiling innocently, but there are tears in his eyes.
I smile and say
"I love you so much, and I'll promise I'll come back for you."
"well, don't make him wait too long or he'll stand at your front door before you know." Ash giggles.
"I can't promise anything. I love you to Demi." He says kissing me one more time.
"okay okay, we got it. You love each other and you'll miss each other." Cal says.
I laugh and grab the bags that are going into the plane with me.
Then Mel and I begin to walk to gate 5. Before we get in we wave one more time to them and I see Luke crying again. Everything in me wants to go and comfort him right now, but if I do that, I'll miss my flight. So we got into the plane and take our seats. Mel looks at me, sees I'm crying and says
"Demi, like you said we'll come back for them. This is not a forever goodbye."
"I know Mel. I just can't stand seeing him crying because of me." I say looking out of the window.

Notes

There will be a time jump in the next chapter, you'll see why.
