~a few weeks later~

It's Saturday. Finally. No alarm clock. No screaming parents. No school. Just peaceful silence.
I wake up and smile. Only 2,5 months till I go to Australia. Am I crazy for counting the days? I don't care, normal people scare me anyways.

I get up and jump in some sweatpants and a crop top. I grab my phone and walk downstairs. I jump on the couch and look at the lockscreen of my phone. It's one of me and Luke laying at the beach. We've laid there for hours till the sun disappeared in the sea. Romantic right? I smile to my lockscreen. Luke had the same one for his phone. If he still has it. I thought about that so much lately. If he still loves me like he says everyday. It's driving me crazy don't knowing if I have competition. But if I have some competition, I'll make sure they'll back off when I'm there. Does that make me a bad person? I lifted my shoulders. We'll see.


I text melissa and go to the kitchen to make some sandwiches.
Me: Hey, Mel! Aren't you excited??!!!

Actually, the only thing we talk about is about our trip to Australia. After I made the sandwiches I walk back to the couch and see that I was put in a groups chat again. This time only with Cal and Ash.
Ash: I made this group so we can discuss what we're gonna do. This is easier to talk and faster than Skype. We need to know who's gonna pick you up and where you gonna stay the first night.
Me: Okay. Well, we land on Saturday and Sunday you guys have band practice so I thought, maybe we could come in the middle of the band practice to surprise them.
Mel: YAS!
Cal: That would be cool. But still where do you gonna sleep the first night?
Me: I don't know.
Ash: one of you could stay at my place, but two won't fit.
Cal: I could ask if one of you could stay at my place.
Mel: YAY!
Me: than that's settled, but who can pick us up from the airport?
Ash: I think we'll be there both.
Cal: yeah. Probably both of us will be there to pick you up.
Me: Okay. Then everything is done.

I got more excited with the minute.

-CALUMS POV-

We sat all on the couch at Luke's place. We are discussing our gig at a bar because that's in a few days. Ash and I were texting with the girls and I think Luke knows something isn't right. My feeling comes true when he asks
"what the hell are you doing on your phone the whole time?"
"Nothing..." Ash says.
"oh yeah, if it's nothing then why won't you let me look with who your texting?"
"Because it's private."
Luke walks to Ashton and grabs his phone out of his hands. Shit, if he reads those texts he'll Know that Demi and Melissa will come back. I sigh in relief when I see Ash immediately takes his phone back.
"I said it was private."
"What's so private that you need to talk with MY girlfriend?"
"it's not what you think.."
"then why are you texting her?"
"I can't say that."
"Why not?!"
"because it's private!"
"Oh, Fuck off with your private!"
Mike and I just sit there. I get Luke's reacting like this, I would react the same way, but we really can't say it. I give Ash a look like; please hold on. I hear him sigh and say:
"Luke, I really can't say it."
"WHY THE HELL NOT?!"
"Because Demi doesn't want me to."
"Then I'll talk to her!" Luke says grabbing his phone and texting Demi. I got immediately a text from Demi.

Demi: WHAT THE HELL'S GOING ON?! Why's Luke texting me that? You didn't told him, did you?

"Who the hell is texting you now?" Luke asks, definitely not happy.
"My mum." I reply, not looking at him, because he would see that I was lying if I did.
I text Demi back.
Me: We told him nothing, but we are all at Luke's place and Luke caught Ashton texting with you. And now they're having a little fight because ash didn't wanted to say why he was texting with you.
Demi: I'm so sorry! Wait, I'll call Luke.

then Luke phone rings..

-LUKE'S POV-

I pick up my phone and I think we all hear Demi say:
"LUCAS ROBERT HEMMINGS YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO BE MAD AT ASHTON!"
"Why not?" I say smiling, because I love the tone of her voice, totally when she's mad.
"BECAUSE HE DID NOTHING WRONG!"
"then why was texting you?" I say totally calmed by her voice, because I know she would never cheat on me.
"because I was planning a surprise for you..."
"yeah?" I say still smiling because I know she's lying, but I don't care about that anymore.
"yeah... because I can't give you a birthday present , I wanted to let you guys go to a concert from All time low."
"my birthday is in July."
"It's.. Uhh... An early birthday present."
"sure..."
"don't you believe me?"
"I don't. But I know you would never cheat on me, so I don't mind." I say again still smiling, because she was still trying to fix it up.
"Well, then you don't believe me. Could you remind me why I'm having an asshole as my boyfriend?"
"because you love that asshole."
"shit, that's true. I hope that asshole still loves me."
"oh believe me, he does."
"YAY! But I gotta go baby. Speak to you later.'
"Okay, bye babe." I hang up the phone and look to Ashton. I'm feeling as guilty as shit.
"I'm sorry Ash, Demi is right, I had no right to be mad at you."
"it's alright Luke, we all know you miss her."
"So.... Now that your bitch fight is over..... Could we please go on with discussing our gig." Mike says.
We laugh and go on with the gig.


~2,5 Months later~

-DEMI'S POV-

OMG! It's today! Finally. I'm going to see Luke again. And the others of course. I will be happy to see them all again, but I think I wanted to see Luke the most. I already packed everything, I did that like 2 weeks ago...


Anyways after saying goodbye to my crying mum, Mel's dad brings us to the airport. We check in and take a seat in the hall.
"omg, Demi, can you believe it? We're going again!!!!" Mel says excited.
"I know right?! I can't wait to see them again!" I reply.
"what if there totally famous and the girls are drooling over them?"
"As long as they stay away from Luke and Mike I don't mind." I smirk.
"But all those girls will be way prettier than me. Mikey would be crazy if he would stay with me."
"oh, c'mon Mel. Mikey loves you so much, and even if he does find someone else. Then he is an asshole and he doesn't deserve you."
"I guess your right."
"of course I am. I'm always right."

"passengers from flight 2087 to Australia please go to gate 7. We'll be leaving in 15 minutes."
"DEMI, THATS OUR FLIGHT. LETS GO!!!!"
"okay okay, take it easy Mel." I don't like flying.
"bye dad!" Mel says hugging her dad and then grabs my arm and pulls me to gate 7.
"Bye mr. Groover!" I scream and wave to her dad before she pushes me into the gate.
We take our seats and talk about Australia. An elderly women behind us says:
"So girls. Are you excited?"
"Yes, ma'am. Very excited." I say.

Only 24 hours till we land... Only 24 hours....
