All I ever wanted

Harry's p.o.v

It had been three weeks since Lucy left the hospital and she was finally fine. Whenever I brought up the baby situation though she shut off. The doctor's I spoke to said she might be in denial, happens to some pregnant women. To be honest I don't recognize her anymore and all I want is for her to return to normal. I mean we are expecting a baby together.

I was sitting in the living room with Niall and Liam playing Fifa when there was a knock on the door. ''Here'' I said handing over my control to Liam and headed for the front door. ''Hey Soph'' I smiled and pulled Sophia in to a hug. A couple seconds later Liam and Niall came out to say hi. ''Sophia'' Niall sang and gave her a bone crushing hug. ''Hey'' I turned to see Liam smile at her and there was a hint of a blush on his cheeks, ''hey Liam'' Sophia smiled. ''Do you know if Lucy's done? I'm going to this club tonight and she said she would come'' she said as I stepped aside to let her in. ''Uh, she's going out? To a club...?'' I asked ''Is that such a good idea? I mean since she's pregnant and all'' Niall said and I nodded. ''Well, she doesn't have to drink does she?'' Sophia let out a laugh ''oh great you're here. Baby, have you see my diamond earrings?'' Lucy said running down the stairs. ''Uhm no'' I answered ''never mind I can go without them. You ready to go, Soph?'' ''yup'' Sophia said and opened the front door. ''Hold on, Luce. Why are you going to a club? You're pregnant, you shouldn't be in that environment'' I tried and she turned to me with a frown before pushing Sophia out the door with her and slamming the door closed. ''I don't know how to fix her'' I whispered, ''maybe she doesn't need you to fix her, maybe she just needs you there to hold her so she doesn't break any more'' Niall said placing a hand on my shoulder.

Lucy's p.o.v

Harry and Niall was right. This is not the right environment for me at the moment. ''Hey Soph, I think I'm gonna leave'' I yelled over the loud music ''are you sure?'' she asked and I gave her a nod. ''Okay but meet me for lunch tomorrow?'' ''definitely'' I said and hugged her goodbye. I left our table and tried to find my way out of the club when I felt someone grab my arm. ''Lucy?'' I turned around to see Zayn and my jaw dropped in surprise. ''Zayn?'' I smiled and pulled him in for a hug. I had neither spoken or seen him since he left One Direction almost a year ago. ''How are you? I heard you and Harry got engaged?'' he said as he let me go ''I'm good, yeah he proposed on New Years Eve'' I smiled remembering the moment. ''But how are you? Come sit here'' I said and we sat down by an empty table. ''I'm good, better than ever'' he smiled and I could tell he was being honest. He did what he had to do and he came out of it stronger than ever. ''I heard the new song, it's great'' I said making him grin from ear to ear. ''You don't have any idea how much that means to me. I'm gonna let you go but I just wanna tell you I appreciate you talking to me, kind of gotten radio silence from the others'' he said and suddenly looked sad. ''I'm not taking any sides Z, You were my friend too. I've missed you'' I said and gave him another hug. ''Smile for the camera please'' we turned to see the club photographer and gave him a quick smile. ''It was nice to see you'' I smiled ''you too, take care Luce'' he said and we went our separate ways.

I walked in to mine and Harry's house a bit after midnight and went straight up to the bedroom. ''Hey'' Harry said coming out from the bathroom, ready for bed. ''Hi'' I said sitting down on the bed taking off my heels. ''What's going on with you?'' Harry asked and sat down next to me. ''I really don't want to have this conversation right now'' I stood up and placed my shoes in our closet and changed to pajamas. ''You never want to have this conversation'' Harry stood up ''I'm telling you we're having this conversation right now'' ''what do you want from me?'' I yelled. This is why I didn't want to talk, we were about to have a huge fight. ''I want you to not go out partying, I want you to realize we are going to be parents for fucks sake so you need to grow up and take some responsibility'' he yelled ''I'm not sure I want this'' I whispered. ''What do you mean? You're not thinking of an abortion are you?'' his voice turned cold. ''Harry I don't want this'' I screamed pointing at my stomach, ''I wanted to finish school, get a job and live my life. Not have it ruined'' Harry let out a snort at my words ''Lucy if you abort this child...I swear to god we are done'' he didn't even look at me when he passed me and left the room. A second later I heard the front door open and close.

''Lucy where are you?'' Eleanor yelled from downstairs. I had called both El and Sophia hysterically crying and they were here in five minutes. I was sitting on the bed when they walked inside the bedroom. I was a mess. ''Honey'' Sophia sighed and sat down while El sat down on the other side. ''What's going on?'' Eleanor asked and it was like someone turned on a tap. The words flowed out of me. They listened intense as I told them what went down just ten minutes ago. ''And then he said 'I swear to god if you do it we're done'' I sobbed in to my hands as they hushed me trying to give me comfort. ''But is it what you really want to do?'' Sophia asked, ''yes, no. I don't know I'm so confused'' ''okay well we're gonna help you figure this out, right Soph? We're not leaving until we figure this out'' El said and right now I couldn't be more grateful for my friends.


''What you need to understand is that your life won't be over just because you have a baby. I mean look at me, I'm almost ready to pop and it's not ending my life. I'm still young, I can keep modeling when I get in to shape again. Nothing's stopping me from living my life, so what do you think is going to stop you?'' Eleanor said. We had been discussing the issue for the past three hours and we were no where done. ''I want to finish school'' I mumbled, ''then finish school. It's not like you're popping the kid out tomorrow'' El said making me let out a small laugh. ''I wanted to get married before having kids too'' I tried, ''you have nine months, that's plenty of time. We'll help you with everything'' Sophia said and I sighed. Not because they were being difficult, because they were right. ''How did the fans react when they found out you were pregnant?'' I asked Eleanor, ''some were upset, but many were really happy for us. Why? Are you worried about bad reactions? We've lived this life with the One Direction boys for so long, taken so much hate we're pretty much made of steal. They won't you bring you down, babe'' El said with a smile. We sat there i silence for awhile. Letting me think for myself.

''Shit. Lucy I'm so sorry'' Eleanor blurted out, ''what is it?'' I asked concerned by her now red face. ''I think my water just broke. In your bed'' she said and laughed making me and Sophia laugh until we realized what was actually happening. ''Shit, shit, shit. Should I call an ambulance?'' Sophia said and stood up from the bed making me stand up too in panic. ''It's fine. One of you will have to drive me to the hospital and the other one should probably call Lou'' Eleanor said in the calmest voice I've ever heard. ''I'll call Lou'' I said and grabbed my phone ''hurry, we will wait in the car'' El said and hooked arms with Sophia and headed to the car. ''Louis?'' I said as soon as he answered ''hey Luce. Harry's here if you're looking for him'' he said ''yeah okay uhm...so Eleanor's water just broke. You need to meet us at the hospital'' ''what?'' he yelled ''we have a month left. No, no, no. This is too early jesus'' ''Louis calm down, meet us at the hospital and don't show El you're freaked out she need you to be calm right now. Okay?'' I spoke calm hoping to calm him down a bit ''okay, I'm coming'' and with that he hung up.

I ran down to Sophia's car were she was helping Eleanor climb in. I sat down in the backseat feeling my own nervousness build. Sophia started the car and we drove for about ten minutes when El started having labour pains. ''Come on babe, just breathe'' I took off my seat belt and leaned forward so she would see me. ''I am breathing, are you stupid?'' El said panting. ''Sorry for that, it hurts'' she said and grabbed my hand. ''It's okay. Squeeze my hand if you feel pain'' I said and boy did she squeeze my hand. By the time we pulled up by the emergency room Eleanor was breathing heavily trying to ease the pain. We jumped out of the car just to see Louis and Harry running towards us. ''I'm here baby, I'm here'' Louis said taking over holding El from me and Sophia. We all followed them inside and when they were showed to a room we were showed to the waiting room. I sat down next to Sophia and Harry sat down next to me. We were pretty much ignoring each other. ''Should we call someone else?'' Sophia asked and I figured we should call Liam and Niall. ''It might be too early'' Harry said and we all agreed to call them when we get an update from the doctor's. ''Uh so about before...'' Harry whispered to me and I turned to him ''I'm sorry. I got mad, I didn't mean to say what I said'' ''I forgive you. But if you ever threaten to break up with me like that again you will be very sorry'' I said and he nodded.

Two hours later Louis came out all red and puffy making us all stand up waiting for some news. ''I'm a dad'' he sniffled and we all rushed over to hug him. ''Congratulations mate'' Harry smiled, ''yeah congrats Lou'' ''congratulation daddy'' I said patting his shoulder. ''Can someone call Liam and Niall?'' Louis said and wiped away some tears ''on it'' Harry said and took up his phone. ''Can we see her?'' I asked ''of course'' Louis said and when Harry was done making the calls he led us to the room El and the baby was in.

The door opened and a very tired looking Eleanor was sitting on a hospital bed with a tiny baby wrapped in a pink blanket. She looked up at us all with a smile ''meet Josephine Tomlinson'' she said and we all gathered around the bed to look at her. ''Hi baby Josephine'' I whispered ''do you wanna hold her?'' El asked and I nodded. I sat down on the chair next to the bed and Louis picked up the baby from Eleanor and placed her in my arms. The newborn was sleeping and she was the most beautiful thing I've seen in my life. She let out a squeal and it sounded so cute my heart was about to burst. ''Hi baby, it's aunty Lucy'' I whispered and when her little hand grabbed my finger my tears started to fall. ''Are you okay, Lucy?'' Louis asked ''take her'' I forced a smile as he lifted the baby from my arms. I stood up quickly and left the room only to sink down on the floor just outside the room. My legs went up and I leaned my chin against my knees just letting the tears fall. Someone sunk down beside me and put their arm around me. It was Harry, of course. ''I want this. I want that. I'm sorry for being stupid, this is all I ever wanted'' I said and he pulled me in to his chest hugging me tight as I cried. ''I'm just so scared, what if I won't be a good mum?'' ''it's okay to be scared, baby. I'm scared too, but you don't have to worry. You'll be a great mum, the best. We will be the bestest parents'' he said making me laugh ''bestest is still not a word'' ''but I got you to laugh, didn't I?'' he smiled and I just had a feeling everything was going to be alright.
