The Hipsters and The Girl
Cheesiness
Alex’s POV
“Goodnight guys.” I mumbled as I closed Zayn’s door and looked up at Louis. “Finally, we get to sleep.”
“I’m exhausted.” He complained unlocking our door.
“Me too.” I agreed closing the door behind myself.
He walked over to his bag and started changing into pajamas while I grabbed pajamas and my towel. By the time I was ready to go take a shower, he was already laying down.
“I’m gonna take a shower.” I informed him as I walked to turn the light off.
“Okay, I’m just gonna lay here.” He was already half asleep.
“Just go to sleep.” I turned the light off and walked into the bathroom.
I closed the door and set my stuff on the counter before turning the shower on. I went back to the mirror as I undressed; setting my clothes in a pile on the floor while my body was revealed. My body’s tanned and tiny. It was easy to see my scars and bruises from being clumsy but it also showed my tattoos. I have one on my ribs that says “Follow your dreams wherever they take you” and one on my hip of a lady bug. Thinking back to the day I got my ribs tattooed made me smile; I got it for Louis. He never knew about it because I got it after he left. To me it means ‘never give up because he never gave up and look where he is now, he has everything he’s ever wanted because he followed his dreams’. The mirror was getting steamy so I decided it was time to get in. I stepped under the water and let it wash away todays remains.
When I left the bathroom, the room was dark and quiet. The only thing I could hear was Louis’s soft breathing. I set my stuff on my bed and walked over to his bed. I could see him enough t see how he was laying because the curtains were open. He was laying on his side with one of his arms out- like he was reaching for something- so I picked it up gently and laid down next to him, setting his arm around my waist.
“Lex?” He asked huskily.
“Yea, go back to sleep Lou.” I whispered as he cuddled into me.
“Why’re you in my bed?” I could hear the smile on his face. “I mean, I have no problem with it, trust me.”
“Because you're in this one and not in that one.” He pulled me closer and rested his chin on my shoulder.
“I would have gotten into that one if you wanted me there.” He whispered to me.
I turned around in his arms and came face to face with him. He smiled down at me while I got comfortable again.
“You're fine where you are, I came to you.” I talked quietly.
“And I love that you’re here.” He kissed my forehead.
“You're cheesy.” I giggled. “But I love being here.”
“You love the cheesiness.” He knew I did.
“Psh no.”
“Whatever you say.” His chest vibrated against mine as he laughed. “Are you tired?”
“Yes.” I nodded.
“Then go to sleep because I’m tired too.” He looked down at me.
“Goodnight Louis.” I looked into his eyes.
“Goodnight Alex.” We kissed before I closed my eyes and actually tired to fall asleep.
