Kinely's POV
*SIX MONTHS LATER*
I walked out onto the stage with Avalon for one of the last times. We were finalists. I smiled and waved to everybody. I fixed my over the ear mic. And soon, the music started. We were singing I Knew You Were Trouble by Taylor Swift. 5 dancers ran out and we danced with them. I was actually quite good at dancing now. I started the song out strong and stopped dancing. I walked from the right side of the stage to the left. Avalon joined in on the chorus. And then she did the 2nd verse. And I joined in on the chorus again. We harmonized the bridge. We ended to a huge applause. I smiled and bowed as did Avalon.
"Wow, you two have come a long way. And you both are very talented." Simon commented. I smiled and shifted nervously.
"Now, to vote for Redx2, text redheads to 234-5674! now! Voting is open for 2 hours starting now!" The lights dimmed and we walked off stage. One Direction was on their TMH US tour, so they weren't able to come and watch. I sat down backstage...tomorrow we would find out who won. I was so nervous. Kalista Magg walked up to us. We had become close friends through the X Factor.
"You guys did great," Kalista said smiling, "Wish me luck!" Then she walked out on stage. She was a finalist as well. She totally rocked her own version of Payphone by Maroon5. 5 minutes later, she came back smiling.
"So, what did Simon say?" Avalon asked her.
"Oh, he said I did ok. Not my best performance and that I might not get many votes..." Kalista said sadly. I hugged her.
"Well, I think you did great," I reasured.
