Will We Make It?
Kinely's POV
I sat nervously in the passenger seat of Liam's car. Today was the day where Av and I tried out for the X Factor. Ugh! I am so nervous! I looked back to see Avalon just as nervous. The rest of the boys were following us in Harry's Range Rover. 5 minutes later, we pulled into the auditorium. I stepped out, almost tripping over my own feet. We went in and stood in line. There must have been at least over 100 people there. Harry stepped over to me. I could feel his breath on my neck.
"Relax, love, you'll do fine!" He whispered in my ear. I smiled.
"Thanks..." I said softly. 2 hours later, and Av and I were up next. We had decided to call ourselves Redx2. Ya know, cause we are twins and are redheads?
"Avalon and Kinely Dawson?" Simon called out. I stepped nervously onto the stage.
"Hello," I smiled shyly. Simon smiled.
"What will you be singing?" Cher Loyd asked.
"Brokenhearted by Karmin," Avalon replied. And with that, the music started. Avalon did the first part and I did the little 'rapping' part. We finished the song easily. Cher Loyd clapped.
"I like you girls. How old are you, may I ask?" She smiled.
"We are 17, almost 18," I said. Simon nodded.
"I like you too, and I say you can move on!" he announced. I smiled big.
"Thank you so much!" Avalon gasped.
"Which one of you is Avalon and which one of you is Kinely?" Cher Loyd asked. I smiled and stepped forward.
"I am Kinely. I kinda look older," I said. And then Av stepped up next to me.
"And I am Avalon, I look younger than Kinely," She said.
"And you two are twins, correct?" Simon asked.
"Yup!" I nodded.
"Alright, you two are our last ones today!" Cher Loyd said. I smiled.
"And now, we have a special treat for you! Please welcome One Direction back to the X Factor stage!" Simon announced. Liam and the rest of the boys ran out.
"Hello! It's good to be back on the X Factor!" Liam started. The rest nodded in agreement.
"And I would like to say good job to my two sisters," Liam finished. Cher Loyd blinked in surprise.
"Sisters?" she asked. I smiled and waved.
"Hi, Avalon and I are Liam's half sisters." I explained. Simon rolled his eyes, he already knew all this.
"Alright! Lets get going!" Harry said. The music for 'Kiss You' started. The boys were really good whenever they performed. The music faded and Niall stepped up.
"Thank you X Factor!" he yelled and then the lights dimmed and we all ran off stage.
