I sat on the love seat with Harry reading a book while he, Liam, Niall and Louis watched a movie. We were waiting for Zayn to finish his shower before we decided what we were going to do for the day. I sighed quietly when Harry moved my arm up.
"Baby, what are you doing?" I asked quietly. He didn't reply. He ducked under my arm and laid his head on my chest. He shifted to lie between my legs. I smiled and put my arm around him. I moved the hand holding the book over to the side, resting my elbow on the back of the love seat. I gently played with Harry's hair as I got back into my book and he set his attention back on the movie. I bit my lip when I felt his breath on the inside of my elbow. I tried not to giggle when he lightly kissed my arm. He then stroked my skin with his thumb gently. I laid my lips on the top of his head.
"I love you." Harry whispered looking up at me. I smiled and pressed my lips to his forehead, resting my hand on his cheek. After a moment he returned his head to my chest. I went back to reading the novel I pulled off the shelf. My mind drifted away from the novel as I took in my surroundings with all of my senses. The smell of Harry's hair, the feel of his breath on my skin and his chest rising and falling against mine, the sound of his laughter and the laughs of the other boys, this was happiness. I would be perfectly content lying on the sofa with Harry in my arms for the rest of eternity with the other boys filling the house as well. I laid my lips on Harry's head as I felt my emotions overtake me completely. I was taken away from my thoughts when Zayn entered the room.
"Vas happenin?" He shouted flopping onto the sofa beside Louis. I giggled softly enjoying how thick his Bradford accent was. Harry chuckled as did all of the boys. I continued to pull my fingers through Harry's curls as the boys all started to joke around. I giggled myself when I heard Niall start making fun of the way Harry speaks.
"Hey! You're not supposed to laugh!" Harry whined at me.
I bit my lip and tried to contain laughter, "He's kind of right though." Harry furrowed his brow at me. "You don't say 'eeeerrrrhhhhmmm' as much with me." Harry shook his head for moment, looking at me with disappointment. He returned his head to my chest after a moment. I went back to my novel and listening to the boys talking. They were quite amusing.
"Have you ever noticed that we only have the one impression of Zayn?" Liam asked after a few moments. I felt Harry shrug in my arms. "We really need to get some new material. I mean all of us. We've been doing the same impressions for years." Liam seemed a little upset. I continued reading as the boys made up new impressions of each other. I giggled when they teased Harry for the way he would talk to me or look at me. Harry huffed quietly. I rolled my eyes and told him not to take it so personally. “Well fine, Harry, why don’t you tell some of your hilarious jokes?” Liam had a sarcastic tone.
“Jokes?” I asked softly.
Harry smiled brightly at me, “I tell jokes on stage between the songs to stall sometimes.” I enjoyed the thought: Harry standing in front of a hundred thousand people telling a stupid joke and the laughter that would follow.
“His jokes are terrible. They’re not funny.” Louis stated matter-of-factly.
“I’d like to hear one of these jokes.” I beamed at Harry as I laid my arm down on the back of the loveseat. He nodded and thought for a moment.
“Why couldn’t the flower ride his bike?” Harry inquired. I just shrugged, waiting for his punchline. “Because his petals fell off.” Harry giggled.
I tried to hide my amusement, “Cute.”
As I lifted my book again, Harry nearly shouted, “I’ve got more.” I returned my arm to the sofa, waiting for more jokes. “Knock knock.” Harry grinned.
I rolled my eyes again, “Who’s there?”
“Lettuce.” Harry chuckled at himself.
“Lettuce who?” I sighed. I was playing annoyed but I loved that he was acting like such a child. He was so much more attractive when he was smiling. His smile was as bright as a thousand suns.
“Lettuce in and you’ll find out.” Harry replied. I shook my head and tried to choke down my laugh. Harry grunted. “How do you find Will Smith in the snow?” He asked. I shrugged. “You look for the Fresh Prince.” Harry laughed. I pursed my lips and tried to hold back another laugh. I glanced over to see that the boys were amused watching Harry and I. They all had knowing smiles and were holding in their laughter as well. We were all attempting to get a rise out of Harry. “Wanna hear one that Lux tells me?” Harry asked with hopeful eyes. I agreed quietly. “Knock knock.”
“Who’s there?” I smiled.
“A cow goes.”
“A cow goes who?”
“No!” Harry shouted. “A cow goes moo!” He started laughing at himself again. “Alright. I’ve got one more good one.” I motioned for him to tell it. “Knock. Knock.”
“Who’s there?” I giggled seeing excitement in his eyes.
“Hula.” He beamed.
“Hula who?” I inquired, not sure of the punchline at all. His last jokes were so predictable. Harry smirked and made a popping sound. I threw my head back in laughter. Harry smiled like he was proud of himself. I wiped my eyes as I tried to get myself to stop laughing. As soon as I would calm down, I looked at Harry’s bright eyes and lost my mind all over again. Harry gazed at me with wonder. He had only seen me laugh so hard a few other times, while we were in Ireland.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry." I panted trying to stop laughing. Harry sat up and kept gazing at me. After a moment he started to laugh as well. I started to laugh harder hearing Harry's laugh. "Stop laughing." I scolded Harry. We both went into a bigger fit of laughter.
"You two are weird." Niall said with a small laugh of his own. Harry and I finally settled. I looked over at the clock to see it was nearly one in the afternoon.
"Do you fellas actually want to do something or would you like to stay on the vineyard?" I asked them kindly.
"That pool looks quite nice. A bit of sunbathing?" Liam suggested. Harry, Niall, Louis and Zayn all agreed. "Enola, is that alright with you?" Liam inquired softly. I nodded, showing him a small smile.
Filler...again, but cute and hilariously Styles filler.
