The Making Of Us

Taylor and I have been back home for about a five weeks now and I still don’t know why or what Niall wanted with my dad, brother and grandfather. I spoke with Niall on the phone the other day though. They are going to be in America in two weeks their first show is in San Quinton as they move up through Canada then back down to Duluth Minnesota and making a stop in Chicago and Kansas City.

I’m planning on going to Chicago since they won’t be coming to Des Moines. Niall told me he’s got a big surprise for me for our one year anniversary. School has gotten much better, I forgot to mention a while ago after Greg got “expelled” he showed back up at the school. His dad sweet talked the school board into letting him back in since it was his last year. So of course he was back at school. But the good news is he laid off of me.

“Hello gorgeous” I hear Taylor say as she walks up behind me.

“Hello babe how was fifth period?”

“Eh you know same old crap we’ve been talking about. Why weren’t you there?” she asked me

“I had to go see the doctor for that issue I was telling you about.” I say to her

“Well what did they say?” Taylor asks excitedly

“They said that the test came back positive. So they took some blood and it was positive too.” I tell her

“OH MY FUCKING GOD CASSIE!” Taylor yells loudly

“Shhh” I say to her

That’s right I hadn’t been felling we the last week and I missed my period so I went to the doctor to see what was going on. I thought maybe it was because of all the stress from school and dealing with being away from Niall and all that but no. That wasn’t the case at all.

“I’m pregnant.” I say to Taylor

“oh my god, oh my god what are you gonna do Cass? Have you called Niall yet?” she asks me

“No I haven’t told him yet. I’m going to wait and tell him when we go to Chicago next week. And I know you’re going to tell Lou so please tell him to keep his pretty little mouth shut or else.” I say to Taylor

Taylor gives me a huge hug as she runs off to call Louis, We have an hour and a half before we have to be back from lunch so I decide to just tag along with her. My dad knows I haven’t been feeling well so I decide I should call him and Tessa to let them know the news.

“Hi dad” I say into the phone

“Hey baby how did the doctor go?” he asked me

“Daddy” I say “They told me I’m pregnant. I’m sorry I promise Niall and I were being very careful and everything I don’t know how this happened. I’m sorry dad” I say as I start crying

“Honey, there is nothing to be sorry about. I wish this wasn’t happening right now at the age of 16 but it has. Don’t be sorry baby you and Niall are going to make great parents. Whatever you want to do Tessa and I will back you up 100 percent” dad says to me.

“Ok dad, can you call Tess for me and let her know. Taylor and I are going to lunch before we have to be back in class.” I say

“Yea sweetie no problem.” He replies

I make my way over to Taylor. I can hear he talking on the phone to Louis I suppose

“Yeah she went to the doctor this morning, and they told her that she’s pregnant. (pause), Yea I know I don’t know how far or anything but I’m happy for her, but you can not tell Niall. She is going to do it when we come see you guys in Chicago.” I hear her saying

I walk up to her as she hands me her phone

“Hello Lovely” I say into the phone

“Hi love” Louis says to me

“So how are things going” I ask

“Great the more important thing is how you have been doing?” he says

“I know Tay already told you Lou, I was standing behind her when she was telling you. But please don’t tell Niall. Leave him in the dark about it I don’t care if you tell the rest of the boys but make it very clear to them that they can’t tell Niall.” I say

“Well with that I think a congratulations is in order. Our young Niall did well” he says giggling

“Thank you Louis, we have to go now but please if you tell the others tell them to keep their mouths shut, or else I will cut off body parts when we come see you guys” I threaten him.

We hang up and Taylor and I go to eat lunch. We finish the day up at school and leave to go home. I finally passed my driving test so my dad and Tess got me a car so I can drive myself places now instead of relying on them.

It’s a cute SUV though I love it. It’s a 1999 Chevy Trail Blazer, Maroon with heated leather seats. After I drop Taylor off at home I head home to take a nap for a while. Lately I’ve been pretty pooped when getting home from school. The morning sickness has just started though and it sucks. Sometimes just the smell or sight of a certain foods makes me wanna puke. Niall could tell I haven’t been feeling well but I told him it was the flu.

ONE WEEK TIL CHICAGO
Today is the last day of school, we are taking our finals this week then Taylor and I get to see Niall, Louis and the rest of the boys. We are so excited. I had another doctors appointment yesterday for an ultrasound to find out how far along I am. They said by the size of the fetus I am about 6weeks and 4days. Which makes sense it’s been about 7 weeks since Niall and I were in Paris for spring break. So I got a little spring break surprise and come to think of it I don’t think I took my birth control the whole time I was there.. whoopsie.

“Cass you feeling ok?” Taylor asks me

I shake my head no, nobody at school knows about me being pregnant and I don’t want them to know right now anyways, it’s really none of their business.

“Just get up and go to the bathroom, put some water on your face you look like you’re gonna puke” Tay whispers to me.

I get up out of my seat and head for the door, the teacher ask me where I am going and all I can spit out is bathroom. I fling to stall door open and puke everywhere. I make it into the toilet though. I go out to the sink and put cold water on my face and stand there for a minute waiting for the room to stop spinning before going back to class and finishing my test.
