{Later on that Night}


Niall’s POV
‘’Dinner was amazing, Ni. You’re cooking is amazing!’’ Sophia says as she hugs me tight. ‘’He’s a grill master.’’ Liam laughs as she lets me go. ‘’You could say so.’’ I nod lightly at him. ‘’Soph, Li, are you sure you guys don’t wanna stay here tonight? We have the other guest room.’’ Jana asks them they move along to say their goodbyes to her.

‘’Jana, love, we’re fine. We gotta get Casey home-‘’ ‘’No Dad! Can I please stay!’’ Casey cuts in. I surprised, she was usually quiet and cool with whatever, but tonight she had been acting a little funny anyways.

‘’No, Jana and Niall have too many kids on their hands, babe. We’re going back to the hotel.’’ Liam says, giving her that ‘I mean it’ look with his eyebrows raised, I give that a lot too to my kids.

The struggle is real.

Too real.

‘’Aunt Jana, can I please stay the night! I really want to! I hate the hotel! Please!’’ Casey asks, hugging Jana tightly to show off some more begging and pleading. ‘’I don’t know doll, you’ll have to ask Ni.. it’s his decision.’’ Jana sighs, glancing over at me from across the room.

It’s always up to me, isn’t it? Yep, always.

Before I knew a thing, Casey had wrapped her arms around my waist, squeezing tight and not wanting to let go. ‘’Please Ni! I really want to, please! I’ll be good! You won’t hear a peep from me!’’ She begs, looking up at me as her chin digs into my abdomen.

‘’I dunno, love.’’ I sigh, looking down at her big green-blue puppy dog eyes. ‘’Please.’’ She bats her eyelashes and pulls that cute little face all female creatures in the world have. Her lips in a mouth, her eyes blinking like crazy. ‘’Please.’’ She whispers lightly.

‘’Alright love. You can stay the night.’’ I smile lightly. She lets me go and starts jumping around happily. ‘’Thank you Ni! I love you so much!’’ She says before running out of the kitchen to God knows where, probably upstairs though.

‘’Are you sure, Niall?’’ Liam asks me, furrowing his eyebrows lightly. ‘’Yeah, she’ll be fine.’’ I nod, assuring Liam that his little girl can survive one night away from him and Sophia.

‘’Alright, everybody listen to me.’’ I call out as I step into the screening room, pausing the movie with the remote. All eyes turned to face me as I flicked the light on. They were watching a classic, one of my top favorites, Finding Nemo.

‘’At eleven, you guys have to be in the bed. You can watch TV or do whatever, but when eleven o’clock comes, I’m shutting this all down and we’re going to bed. Understand me?’’ I ask, raising my eyebrows as my eyes scan them all, making sure no one is under the age of seven, and they’re not.

‘’Daddy, are you goin’ to bed?’’ Terra asks, her eyes directly on mine. ‘’Not yet babe. Why?’’ I say. ‘’I.. I’ll tell you when it’s time to go to bed.’’ She nods lightly. ‘’Alright babe.’’ I nod back to her. She turns around, not paying me any attention anymore.

‘’If you need me or Mom, press the button and talk into the intercom.’’ I remind them. They all sigh or nod or whatever, mainly Taylor and Tori though. It surprised me that they were both in here. But hey, the movie’s great so I don’t blame them at all. I would be in here watching it with them, but I gotta clean up downstairs.

‘’Hey, Niall?’’ I heard Harry’s voice say as I rinse my hands off, I just loaded the dish washer with the dishes from earlier tonight. ‘’Yeah?’’ I ask, glancing over at him as I grab a paper towel, wiping my hands dry.

‘’I.. can.. can we talk?” He sighs lightly, shutting the kitchen door as he completely enters the room. ‘’Yeah, bro, ‘bout what?’’ I ask, raising my eyebrows lightly at him as I make sure the stove is off and the water is dripping either.

‘’I know.. I know I’m being such a pest.. being here more than usual. But I just.. I just wanted to say thank you. You don’t know how truly much I appreciate this. It’s nice to know someone cares.’’ He smiles lightly, sticking his hands in his front pockets.

‘’You know I’m here for you, Harry.’’ I tell him, smiling slightly back at him. He just nods, staring down at his feet. ‘’Selena.. is supposed to be.. going to the doctor in a few days. She asked if I wanted to go.. but I.. I don’t know.. what to do.’’ He shrugs lightly, glancing up at me.

‘’Well, uh, I know you care about the baby. If I were you.. I’d go. Ignore the paparazzi and the cameras. Its your life, you can do what you want. But yeah, I think you should.’’ I nod lightly.

‘’I guess I will.’’ He mumbles. The door opens, it’s just Jana, no big deal. Harry looks over his shoulder as the door shuts. ‘’Hey Jana.’’ He says lightly, soon looking back down at his feet. ‘’You alright?’’ She asks him as she walks over to the sink.

‘’Yeah.. just decided that I’m gonna go with Selena.. to the doctor.’’ I suppose that Jana knows about this, but either way I’m pretty sure she can connect the dots, you know obviously.

“Oh, that’s good.’’ She smiles at him. Jana makes her way to be, beginning to ignore Harry completely as she steps in front of me, looking up at me with her beautiful eyes. ‘’’member what we talked about earlier?’’ She whispers, winking lightly. I think back for a second, making sure it’s the right thing.

‘’Yeah, what about it?” I ask, furrowing my eyebrows lightly at her. ‘’It’s gotta wait.. until tomorrow.’’ She sighs, smiling at me. ‘’What, why!’’ I whine lightly, I was looking forward to a little fun, just a little though.

‘’Terra told me she wanted to sleep with us because she doesn’t feel good. I told her that was fine. She was afraid to ask you though, she said she felt that she asked you too much.’’ Jana informs me, putting her hands on my waist.

‘’She outta know that isn’t true. I’d die for my little angel.’’ I mumble, just wishing that one day she will be able to notice that I’d do anything, and I mean anything, for her or any of my kids really.
