Jana’s POV
‘’You wanna go see Daddy?’’ I ask Talya as I hold her in my arms, she was wide awake and very pleased looking, not seeming as if she’ll break out in tears, like she usually would. We were at Niall’s office door once I assumed she wanted to go, either way she was.

I open the door. Niall’s eyes dart to mine and he suddenly grabs his lap top, sitting it on a stack of papers and opening it up. ‘’Hey baby.’’ He smiles as he starts to type on the keyboard. I furrow my eyebrows as he looks away.

Okay?

‘’Hey..’’ I mumble back as I shut the door behind me. ‘’She giving you trouble?’’ He asks as I walk over to him. ‘’No, I just figured you wanted to see her. You haven’t left this room all day.’’ I smile as I step behind the desk and stand beside him.

‘’Well of course I want to see her. She’s the only one who hasn’t barged in here and chatted with me today.’’ He laughs a little as he holds his hands out, spinning his chair to face me. I pass her to him and he gladly gets her situated in his arms.

‘’So, um.. are you busy?’’ I ask as I clear my throat lightly. ‘’Um, it depends. What do you need?’’ He asks curiously as he uses his finger to mess with Talya’s hand. She grabs his index finger and holds onto it tight, staring up at me as he makes faces at her.

‘’Terra.. she um, she needs a bath, I don’t like doing it alone.’’ I remind him of something he should have known. ‘’Alright, where’s my other kids at?’’ He smiles as he glances at me, but his eyes soon return to Talya.

‘’Tori’s in her room.. Taylor and Tristan are outside.. Tin and Tate are in the play room with Carolina.. Tanner and Tiffany are asleep.’’ I tell him. ‘’Alright.. you want me to do so you can watch Talya?’’ He asks as he stands up.

‘’Yeah, that’ll be fine.’’ I nod a little as he hands her to me. Niall’s hand touches my waist, his other on my hip. He leans in and kisses my forehead lightly. ‘’Love you, baby.’’ He whispers lightly in my ear, kissing my lobe with a smile against my skin.

‘’Love you too.’’ I sigh lightly. Something was up.. and I didn’t like it.

Niall’s POV
‘’Daddy.’’ Terra mumbles as I rinse her with the shower head, the water gently flowing over her. ‘’Yes, baby?” I ask her. ‘’Taylor was being mean to be earlier.’’ She sighs lightly. I look at her, but she avoids my eyes. She was too much like Jana, when she was sad she didn’t want to look into my eyes.

‘’What he do, babe?’’ I ask, worried and concerned. ‘’I was playing the Play Station with Tristan.. and he came in there. He shoved me and told me that I was stupid and I didn’t know how to play. But I was winning.. I hit my head.. but Tori was in there.’’ She tells me.

‘’What did Tori say?’’ I ask. ‘’She shoved him back and called him a dirty word.. I can’t say it.’’ She says. ‘’Okay.. I’ll go talk to him in a minute.’’ I say. She nods lightly before continuing this one, ‘’Is he going to be in trouble?’’ She asks.

‘’Yes, big trouble.’’ I nod to her and she nods lightly in return, a sign that she was okay with that. ‘’Why doesn’t he like me?” She sighs. ‘’Baby, he likes you. He’s your brother.’’ I say, a light smile on my face. Her beautiful eyes look up at me.

I see the pain, my smile fades quickly away. ‘’But he doesn’t like me.’’ She whispers. ‘’Terra, he’s just a boy. Boys are stupid.’’ I tell her. She looks away from me. Great, what did I do this time? I didn’t want her to be upset, especially with something like this.

‘’So.. you’re stupid?’’ She says, her eyebrows furrowed. ‘’Yeah, sometimes.’’ I nod, trying to get her to feel a little better. She just smiles back, that made me feel a million times better.

‘’Why did you shove Terra earlier?’’ I ask Taylor was I walk into his room, Tori behind me. ‘’I didn’t.’’ He mumbles, his eyes don’t leave his phone screen. ‘’Yes you did!’’ Tori says in protest, her hand on her hip as she stares at him, standing beside me.

‘’Taylor, put the phone down.’’ I sigh lightly. He doesn’t do it, just glances at me and shrugs as his eyes go back to the screen, his fingers start to move again. ‘’I’ll give you three seconds.’’ I warn him. I count the seconds as they go by, but he never cared to do what I told him to do.

‘’Damn it, I’m not fucking playing with you.’’ I snap suddenly. He looks up at me and rolls his eyes. I go the short distance to his bed, only about five steps. I snatch the phone from his hand, shoving it into the back pocket of my jeans.

‘’Bitch.’’ The word was mumbled under his breath, but I heard it. ‘’Excuse me?’’ I laugh out of shock. He just stares at the wall across from him, despite me being right here. ‘’You better answer me boy, I’m not in the mood to fuck around.’’ I say.

When I get mad or ticked off, I get mad or ticked off. I don’t care who it is, I’m not going to filter my language, not even in front of my kids. ‘’Leave me alone.’’ He mumbles lightly. ‘’No, I won’t. Now you tell me why the hell you pushed Terra.’’ I demand.

‘’I.. didn’t push her.. I shoved her.’’ Taylor sighs out. ‘’Why?’’ I ask, wanting to know this answer. ‘’Because she was in my way.’’ He shrugs. ‘’No she wasn’t! She was sitting in the floor. You just had to be a dick and go mess with her.’’ Tori says from behind me.

‘’There is no good reason why should have pushed her. You know she can’t defend herself. You were definitely a dick for doing that to her. She’s your sister, you’re supposed to love her. Not treat her like a piece of shit.’’ I sternly say.

‘’I’m tellin’ Mom that you called me a dick.’’ He mumbles. ‘’Oh really, well I’m telling Mom that you’re talking like that.’’ I reply, tilting my head lightly, shocked by his sudden horrible attitude. ‘’Tell her that Tori does it too.’’ He insists.

‘’Your sister is older, it doesn’t matter what she says.’’ I remind him. ‘’Oh, it’s because she got pregnant, isn’t it?’’ He asks, looked up at me, no emotion on his face. ‘’I’ll hurt you.’’ Tori says. ‘’That’s none of your business. Now, like I was saying, you are a horrible brother.’’ I say.

‘’Good. I don’t like that freak anyways.’’ He shrugs. ‘’She’s not a freak.’’ I snap. ‘’Yes she is.’’ He nods lightly. ‘’And you’re acting like a bitch.’’ I tell him. ‘’Good. How can I like someone how can’t even use the bathroom by herself. She’s a mutant, and I hate her.’’ He sighs. ‘’Alright.. you wanna act like that..’’ I mumble as I step away before I hurt him, I was sick of him already.

I gesture Tori to grab his laptop, which was mostly for school work. She nods and grabs it, stepping to the door. ‘’You see his precious TV right here?’’ I ask as I unplug the cord from the wall. He watches as I walk over to his desk and open the drawer.

I search for what I was looking for, soon finding it. I smirk to myself, it soon goes away as I get serious again. I go back to the TV and pick up the cord. I hold it so that he could see it. He watches as I take the scissors and snap the cord in two.

‘’I’m not replacing it.’’ I say as I go to the door. ‘’If you come out of his fucking room, I’ll hurt you.’’ I warn as I slam the door shut hard. I didn’t care what I called him, I was sick of him treating everyone else like they were nothing at all.

I’m sick of it.
