17. A Shit Load
One Week Later
Tori’s POV
‘’What about this one?’’ Selena asks as she points to a dress displayed on a mannequin. Dad sent me and Sel to do dress shopping for Mom, who still has no clue about this at all. We got her sizes down, which didn’t change too much from the original wedding.
I’m honored to do this, because it’s a fun thing! We have a secret, and Mom doesn’t know! And plus, in the end, everything will go as planned and we will all end up having the best time ever! I don’t know what Dad has planned for them afterwards, but I know it’s going to be beautiful anyways.
‘’Eh, it’s okay. But Dad wanted a ball gown.. something big and puffy.’’ I smile as we continue along the racks of dresses. ‘’Hmm.. let’s keep looking then. Want to split up?” Selena asks me as she starts to step away from me, a grin on her face.
‘’Yeah.’’ I nod a little, smiling at her as she runs off towards the other side of the store, leaving me alone to find something perfect. My eyes skim over a few on display, but nothing really catches my eye. I sigh to myself, not knowing how long this will actually take us.
I gotta give full credit to Dad though, he’s planned this whole thing and its only three weeks away. That’s a lot of stuff to do and get done before then. But since my Dad’s a billionaire, and he is who he is.. I’m sure we can get it all done.
So it’s going to be like another wedding. Dad’s sticking with the same colors as before, soft pink and white. He said he didn’t want to change too much, because he always wanted Mom to remember that day, so I think it’s sweet that he’s doing that.
And, I think it’s very, very amazing that he’s wanting to do this. It’s only been ten years, but don’t let that fool you. They’ve had their ups and downs. Their fights, the times when one of them would be gone for a couple of days, just because of an argument.
There’s been bruises, and cuts, and yells. But I know that nothing will ever, ever ruin them because they love each other. My parents are the true example of true love. My dad never gave up, nor did my mom. I want to grow up and have a relationship like them.
Even when they hate each other, they love each other.
‘’Your choice is beautiful.’’ The woman smiles at me as she finishes some last minute paper work, mainly for my Dad’s quick delivery demand. ‘’Thank you.’’ I smile lightly as she glances up at me. ‘’Tell your father that the dress will be here one week before the date, we’ll keep it locked up until he comes to pick it up.’’ She tells me as she puts her pen down.
‘’Okay, thank you.’’ I smile before turning on my heel, walking towards the door. Selena was in the car, waiting on me. Now we have to go find the ‘wedding party’ appearal, at a different store. I was the maid of honor, which is amazing.
My dad is seriously doing this like a wedding, he’s not dropping any step. Selena’s the next in line, and then Sophia. Harry’s the best man, again. Then Liam, and then Austin, my mom’s closet family, our cousin.
I’m looking forward to this day, because I think its going to be something to remember. Last time, I was the flower girl and Taylor was the ring bearer, but not this time. Tinley’s the flower girl, only because she’s the youngest girl that can walk.
And well.. as for Taylor, him and I have something big planned. Something even my dad doesn’t know about…
Niall’s POV
‘’Yeah.. yeah, the 30th thru the 1st.’’ I mumble into the phone as my eyes constantly glance up to my open office door, hoping Jana would come by and hear me. I was supposed to go to my legit office today, but I was too lazy to get up.
‘’Okay Mr. Horan.. we can do that.’’ The man tells me. ‘’Okay, thank you.’’ I sigh as I hang up my phone, sitting it down on my desk with a thump. But as always, as soon as I sit it down.. it beeps. I sigh to myself again as I open the message, at least it’s from someone I don’t hate.
Tori: OMG You’re going to love the dress!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I smile as I start my reply. I’m hoping I will, I trusted her big time today.
Me: Good. Do you have a picture? Or do I have to wait?
Tori: NO pictures! And YES! You have to wait!
Me: Fine.. Hurry home.
Tori: K. We’re almost there.
Me: Alright, you better not be driving and texting!
Tori: Lol Dad, I’m not. Sel’s driving.. and texting.
Me: Are you serious!!
Tori: ha, no! She’s on the phone with Harry.
Me: Alright, love you.
Tori: I know, love you too.
I find the piece of paper I had everything written down on and I cross out the hotel reservations. Harry and I decided to rent out the entire Peabody Hotel for a few days, just for the wedding guests and stuff. Speaking of the guests.. its going to be star studded.
Tori is going to be very excited. I’m invited one of her idols, Taylor Swift. Taylor’s a good friend of mine, and we have a few clients together, her record label mostly does pop while I do pop, rock, and a few country surprisingly.
But still, I’m only inviting people who are close to me and I’m good friends with. All of them know Jana, so its not like it’ll be anything different. I honestly think that more famous people are going to be there than actual family members of mine.
Jana’s cousin, who has become very close to us over the past few years, is going to be a groomsman, which I know she’ll love. A lot of her family is coming, mostly the ones I’ve met. Her mother is going to be there, surprisingly.
But as for now, I need to stick with the list. I have a shit load of stuff to do!
