CLAIRE'S POV

It's been two and a half days since I found out Lyn was pregnant, and Louis accused me of running off. It's been an emotional rollercoaster for me this week, it's actually been an emotional rollercoaster for the last five months.

I know, five months. It's hard for me to believe too, but I've been with Louis for five months. Lyn has loved Liam for more then four months.

Liam was able to find a car somewhere, I don't know where but I never bother to ask anymore. Louis hadn't talked to me, and I haven't talked to him. That's one thing that drives me crazy, we'll be talkative and enjoy eachother's company for a few days, then we won't even make eye contact.

Louis was sitting next to me in the back seat, he would glance over at me every now and then. I noticed this from the corner of my eye, but I couldn't bring myself to look at him.

I just sat criss-cross on the seat while braiding small strands of my hair. We haven't been driving long, maybe 45 minutes but it feels like hours. Luckily, Liam had the radio playing so the silence wasn't too unbearable.

Lyn was silent, I've talked to her the most over these past couple days, I'm worried about her. I don't know how long it will take for her to tell Liam that she's pregnant, but she only has so long.

I looked at the clock in the car, it was seven in the morning. The sun had just risen and the crisp air still smelled fresh because of the morning dew. My window was rolled down slightly, my hair was waving everywhere while Jessie's Girl was playing on the background.

Liam turned onto a dirt road that was surrounded with pine trees. I had no idea where we were going, but like I said, I never bother to ask too many questions. We drove for a few more minutes before he pulled up to a small cabin and killed the engine.

Now I asked a question, "Where are we exactly?"

Liam responded, "Colorado."

It was nice to finally know where we were, before I just felt like a lost traveler who was stuck going where she was told. Now I have more freedom, I get to somewhat know where we are. And I don't have to be walked places anymore, I guess I'm trusted a little.

"Who's cabin is this?" Lyn asked while holding her stomach, something was wrong.

I glanced over at Louis who was kicking a rock and avoiding eye contact. I grabbed Lyn's arm and quickly led her into the cabin and found a room, then shut the door. I completely ignored Liam asking what we were doing.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Nothing," She shrugged, "It's just weird thinking there's something growing inside me."

"Oh, I thought something was wrong." I said while leaning against the wall.

"Depends on what you mean by wrong." She laughed, "I'm fine I guess. But what's wrong with you?"

"What makes you think anything's wrong?"

She gave me 'the look', "Claire."

"It's just Louis doesn't trust me that's all," I spoke in a hushed tone not knowing if anyone was listening in, "I was gathering firewood the other night and he thought I was running away."

Lyn raised an eyebrow, "What the hell? Doesn't he know that you aren't thinking about leaving anymore?"

"Guess not. It's not a big deal, he's on edge. Normal I think." I pursed my lips not really wanting to talk about Louis, I wanted to talk to him, not about him.

Lyn must've read my mind, "Go talk to him."

"No."

"Why not? You scared to be the bigger person?" She crossed her arms. Bitch.

I rolled my eyes and walked out of the room, knowing she was right that I had to talk to him. I guess I wanted him to be the first to speak, but I shouldn't be one of those girls who expects people to do everything.

Louis was sitting on the hood of the car smoking a cigarette, shocker. Liam was sitting on the couch closing his eyes, port guy is exhausted and doesn't know what's coming for him.

I walked to the front door but stopped before touching the doorknob. It's not a big deal, but I don't know what to say. If I don't know exactly what to say, then I'll blank out and get angry that I can't say anything so then I'll just walk away.

"You okay?" Liam asked.

I turned around and saw him lifting his head up to make eye contact.

"Yeah, just thinking."

"Is the door helping you think?" He joked.

"No."

"You'll know what to say, don't worry." He reassured and laid his head back down.

I nodded and opened the door, walked out, and slowly shut i behind me. Louis looked up and stopped smoking midway when he saw it was me, but then he took a puff and threw his cigarette on the floor.

He jumped off the car and stepped on his drug, then shoved his hands in his pocket. "Hi." He said lowly.

I half smiled, "Hey, uh, about the whole secret things-"

"If you and Lyn want to keep secrets then that's fine. You're friends, I get it. If it's not a whole dangerous thing then I shouldn't worry, I'm sorry for being a dick." I was taken off guard that he apologized.

I looked at the ground and looked back up at Louis, "Oh, well uh thanks I guess. I'm sorry for being rude..?"

Louis looked up at the sky and then back at me. "It's early, follow me."

He grabbed my wrist and began to run into the trees. I wasn't wearing running shoes so I was tripping over branches a lot, luckily I kept up with Louis.

He seemed excited, like he was planning something and I didn't know what. After a few more minutes of running, he slowed down and eventually came to a stop. He stopped in a small opening in the woods where there was grass and small trees.

"Louis, what are we doing?"

He shushed me and let go of my wrist. He walked around and grabbing large logs and setting them up on rocks. I had no idea what was going on, but he seems really excited. Once he finished setting up at least five or six small pieces of logs, he walked over to me.

"I-I don't understand what's going on." I said as he stood in front of me.

Louis took out his handgun and smiled, "I think it's about time you learn how to shoot, Claire Randy."

This was the most frustrating thing I've ever done. I've shot three times and I've missed, my elbows hurt because of the backfire and my aim sucks. I've shot a gun once and that was luck when I hit the target.

Now when I actually want to hit something, I miss. Louis laughed, "You think too much. Just aim and shoot."

"Easier said then done." I mumbled.

"Actually not," Louis came up from behind me and held the gun, while resting his chin on my head.

I bit the inside of my cheek and felt the redness creeping to my cheeks. Louis noticed because I saw him smirk from the corner of my eye, but I ignored it.

"Okay," He started, "Think about your target and what you wanna do to it. You want to shoot it."

I nodded and aimed while closing one eye to focus better. "Aim and shoot."

I took a breath before pulling the trigger, next thing I knew the log went flying off the rock. Louis backed up and grinned while I just stared at the rock where the log just was.

I aimed the gun again and shot five more times, hitting all the logs off the rocks on the first try. "You're a natural." Louis teased.

I unloaded the gun and handed it to him, "Well I have a great teacher."

"I know." He let out a breath while sitting down against a tree.

I joined him and he wrapped an arm around me. I could tell it was around noon since the sun was its highest, time flies when you're having fun.

"Claire."

"Hmm?"

"Do you want to learn how to fight?" Louis asked.

I faced him and nodded, "Yes."

LYN'S POV

My hands were gripped on the side of the toilet as I kept throwing up. I've barley eaten and I keep throwing up, soon enough I'll just start gagging.

There was a knock on the bathroom door, "Babe? You okay?" Shit.

I wish I could've responded but I had to lean over the toilet again. I couldn't stop Liam from walking in. He kneeled down next to me and held my hair back while rubbing my back.

"Lyn you've been sick for almost a week. Do you need a doctor?" He asked.

It took a minute for me to reply, but I finally managed. "No, I'm fine don't worry about it." I flushed the toilet and sighed.

"Well I am worrying about it! No one has the flu this bad and for this long." He argued.

I avoided eye contact with him, "Liam, I'm fine okay?" I stood up and walked to the sink and washed my hands and began to rinse my mouth.

"There's something you're not telling me." Uh oh.

"Like what? Liam I'm sick that's all." Lies.

He mockingly laughed, "Sick, with what? I know this isn't the flu."

"Prove it then."

"Well you seem fine for the rest of the day. It's only in the...mornings...that you're..." He looked up at me with wide eyes. "Oh my god morning sickness!?"

My bottom lip began to quiver, "I-I'm sorry!"

I immediately fell to ground and hugged my knees. I don't know what to expect from him, he could be angry or worried or happy.

"What are you sorry about?"

"I don't even know!" I cried.

Liam managed to let out an awkward laugh, "If you think I'm mad at you I'm not. I'm just surprised, that's all."

"Why aren't you mad?" I muttered.

"Lyn this isn't all your fault, I kinda played a part in it." He sighed and kneeled next to me.

"I guess. I just didn't know what to expect."

"Well now you do. How far along are you?" He asked.

I shrugged, "About two weeks now."

Liam smiled, "Great."
