LOUIS' POV
"Okay now you would kick the person here." I showed her my knee cap and showed Claire how she would kick.
I set up the same logs I used for when she was shooting, except she would kick them off. We've been working on kicking for fifteen minutes now, first we were punching then typical self defense, now kicking. All together we've been doing this for about three or four hours.
"Alright, so try kicking these two logs." I pointed to the set up obstacles for her, and she nodded.
She got herself into position and without hesitation, she kicked the logs and they went flying. Small wood splinters flew in various places, her kick was hard and badass.
"Was that okay?" She asked.
"Okay?" I scoffed, "That was great. Just wait 'till it gets natural for you, then it'll be even better."
A small grin made its way to Claire's face. "How long do you think the learning part will take before I can fight you?"
I laughed, "I don't mean to be rude, love but I'm a pretty good fighter."
"If you're good then you shouldn't be afraid to fight me. Right?" She was using her innocent tone that was laced with a mocking vibe.
"Fine." I shrugged and watched as Claire crossed her arms. "Who's going to make the first move?"
"You are."
I raised an eyebrow but walked over to her and threw a light punch. She immediately dodged it and elbowed my back, causing me to wince and stumble forward. Surprisingly, she took this to her advantage and kicked the back of my knee so I fell forward.
Now that I was kneeled on the ground, she stood in front of me and smiled. "Did you go easy on me?"
"Uh, yeah."
"Oh well-" I interrupted her by swinging my legs around and tripping her.
She fell with a loud grunt and dust surrounded her. She gave me a playful glare and stood up, brushing herself off while doing so.
"My bad." I joked, "But-"
I was cut off when Claire delivered a punch to my stomach, all the air felt like it was sucked out of me. She kneeled in front of me while I was struggling to catch my breath. Before I could say anything else, she put her index finger under my chin and gave my lips a small peck.
I wanted more, but she sadly pulled away. I saw what she was doing, she was teasing. "Gotta keep up, Tomlinson." She mocked.
I stood up and followed her as she was walking with her back faced to me. I took this as my chance to grab her and tackle her to the ground. She was laughing hysterically as we fell with a thud.
"Another tip, never turn your back to your opponent." I told her.
She nodded but didn't speak. She was laying next to me, both of us were staring at the moving clouds. At the same time, we both turned our heads to face eachother. Instantly, we both got lost in eachother's eyes.
CLAIRE'S POV
Louis' eyes were hypnotizing, they were a mixture of blue and green. It was very easy to just stare at them and get lost. Louis rolled onto his side so he was facing me better.
His hand move a few loose strands of hair that were on my face. "You're gorgeous." He whispered.
I knew I had a smile on my face, but it wasn't because of the complement he gave me. It because I was with Louis, not the rude and arrogant one, but the Louis that was great to be around.
He cupped the side of my face, and leaned in. I followed his movements and finally, the gap between us was no longer existing. His lips on mine just felt right, it's hard to explain but whenever we kissed I never wanted it to stop.
It may sound cliché, but sparks flew. It was almost like electricity was moving through us whenever we were close like this.
Louis intensified the moment by rolling us over so I was on top of him. I wrapped my arms around his neck, his hands made their way around my waist. It no longer feels right, it is right.
I ran my hands through Louis' soft hair, lightly tugging on a few strands earning a moan from him. Louis bit my bottom lip and tugged, this time, earning a moan from me.
Under me, I felt a bulge and almost grinned to myself. He was turned on, and so was I.
"Claire," He mumbled and pulled away, "It's getting dark."
I looked up at the sky and noticed that he was right. The sky was bright orange with small spots of purple clouds. I sighed, "I guess we should get going then."
"We could always continue, you know." Cheeky.
Louis and I made our way back to the cabin. When we walked inside, Lyn and Liam were on the couch and they looked overjoyed. They were laughing and cuddling.
"What's going on?" Louis asked.
Lyn and Liam looked at eachother before Liam spoke up, "We have big news."
"You two aren't getting married are you?" Louis asked.
Lyn laughed, "Uh no."
"Then what?" I asked, even though I knew.
Liam looked at Lyn and she grinned, "I'm pregnant."
Louis froze and just stared, his face was unreadable making everyone nervous. We all just waited in awkward silence for his response.
"Sweet! Congrats guys." He finally said, "I'm just surprised that's all."
Everyone literally took a breath, relieved that Louis didn't scream and run around shooting things. Liam and Lyn grinned and began to kiss, I awkwardly walked into the kitchen to grab myself a glass of water. I was tired after today, but happy that I finally learned how to shoot and fight.
Louis followed me and also grabbed a glass of water. "You know, you and Lyn need new clothes. How about you and I go to local mall tomorrow and steal some?"
I choked on my water, "What? Me? Steal, uh yeah I would probably fail miserably."
"Aw, come on. You're a natural at shooting and fighting, this is easier. Just follow my lead. Yeah?"
"Fine."
