What Happened To Us

"Ahem."
I woke up to a very stern-looking nurse standing above me. For moment, I forgot where I was, and then I realized that I was still at the hospital. Laying in a hospital bed. With Harry. Shit.
"Sorry, I'll get out of your way." I whispered.
I tried to get up, but Harry made a noise that sounded like "noooo..." before curling his arms around my waist, creating an iron cage that I couldn't escape from. I looked at the nurse helplessly, and she smiled, suddenly resembling a smiling grandmother.
"Well, at least he died and went to heaven." she said, chuckling.
I felt heat rush to my face, and I knew I was blushing to the roots of my hair.
"Oh no, it was nothing like..."
She walked away before I could finish.
"...That." I said.
I nudged Harry, but all he did was roll over.
"Nooooo! Five more minutes, mum." he murmured, making me crack up laughing. Of course, my laughing would be the thing to wake him up. He grunted before opening those gorgeous green eyes of his and staring up at me with the goofiest grin on his face.
"G'morning, love." he said in that sexy morning voice.
"Morning," I replied. He stared at me for a moment.
"You have the sweetest laugh, you know that?" I chuckled.
"You're as high as a kite, aren't you?" I said, looking over as his pain medication bag, which was attached to an IV. It was completely empty. Harry shook his head.
"Not even a little bit." he said, smiling.
I chuckled, suddenly remembering the nurse.
"The nurse thinks we had sex last night." I told him.
Harry laughed, and then glanced at me with the most serious look on his face.
"Well, we both know that I wouldn't be opposed to that."
My mouth dropped open, and Harry really started laughing then.
"Oh God, you should see your face!"
I frowned at him, and then started laughing myself.
"Sorry, you just shocked me, I suppose." I told him. He released his hold on my waist, and I jumped up.
"I'm going to go check on Ash, ok?" I told him. I ran out of the room before I could get an answer. I jogged over to the information desk, and asked for her room number.
"She's in room 305, honey. You can see her now, she's awake."
I nearly sprinted toward the elevator. All the way up to the third floor, I tried to stay quiet, and not burst with excitement. Once I got up there, I ran straight to it, and got someone to let me in. As soon as Ash saw me, her face broke out into the most beautific smile I've ever seen.
"Hey Ash."
"Hey Shelby."
My gut dropped as soon as I remembered Harry. I didn't want to tell her, but it didn't seem right not to.
"Why the long face?" Ash asked. I took a deep breath.
"Ash, honey, there's something I need to tell you."
