Monica strode through the halls of her school. Her black crop top showed her gold moon piercing. The boys gawked at her. She knew she was hot, but never took any of the boys. She was the Junior slut. Highest level in society. None of the girls out did her. she didn't even have girl friends.

She stopped at her locker. 3 33 13. Her locker combination unlocked and she shoved her biology paper inside. She took her mascara out of the magnetic container next to her mirror and added a new coat. After placing it back she grabbed her laptop for English and shut her door. Suddenly a hand grabbed her shoulder. She turned around to see Nate.

"Hey Monica. I was wondering if you wanted to hang out after school over my place."

She wasn't all into Nate. He was cute and nice but he wasn't a "bad boy". Sure he hung out with the most dangerous guys in town, but he wasn't really one of them.

"Um...I have to go shopping for the dance next week. Maybe another time."

She smiled and started to walk away. Nate stopped her.

"Oh cool. Who are you going with?"

Monica didn't actually have a date to the dance

"No-no one but I just want to prepare you know?"

"So I wanted you to come over to ask you something. But can I ask you right now?"

"Sure Nate."

He fixed his backpack strap and tapped his foot.

"Well...I wanted you to....um..go to the dance...with me..?"

Sweat fell from the back of his neck. Monica blushed. She never knew Nate liked her.

"Um..sure. I would love to."

Nate's heart fluttered. He tried to hide his excited smile.

"Great. And I thought maybe I could help you with shopping"

"Yeah. Of course. We can talk later. I'll see you."

They both walked away, satisfied. Monica couldn't believe that just happened.
