Where Do Broken Hearts Go (Sequel to You and I)

Connie's POV

I hopped into the car with Evan. When Evan pulled up to pick me up, I started tensing. It was extremely awkward because I knew that Niall probably had no idea we were dating. I was deep in thought when Evan had grabbed my hand. I looked to him and smiled. He gave me a kiss on the hand.

Niall's POV

I was standing there without even moving. I didn't know what to feel or what to say. I walked back towards the hotel and to our room. When I got back, they were finished with the movie. Everyone was just sitting around and talking. I walked towards them and sort of joined their conversations. I wasn't talking much because I still can't believe that Connie and Evan were dating.

All of a sudden, someone grabbed my shoulder. It was Liam. I bet he knew that I was upset because he always knew if there was something wrong with me.

"Hey man, what's up?" He asked.

By the look of my face, it seemed like I was deep in thought, but I was just staring out into the distance.

"Come on, let's go into another room and talk about it." He said.

We both stood up and went to my room.

"Seriously, you can tell me what's wrong." He said.

I looked down.

"Connie and Evan are dating." I said.

"You mean Evan, Connie's best friend?" He asked.

I sighed. "Yes."

"I'm so stupid. I let her go so easily and she was so hurt about it. All because of that stupid paparazzi incident that I was overreacting about. Now that she's with someone else who makes her happy, it makes me upset that I'm not the one to make her happy." I said.

Liam sighed. "Niall, stop blaming yourself. You felt at the time it was the right thing to do because you wanted to protect her. You said it yourself, long distance is hard when you can't be there for her all the time and-"

"IT'S STILL WORKING FOR YOU AND SOPHIA! WHAT ABOUT LOUIS AND ELEANOR? ZAYN AND PERRIE? HARRY AND BERNICE?" I shouted.

I just lost it at the moment.

Liam stared at me.

"THIS WAS JUST ME MAKING DUMB DECISIONS. NOW I LOST THE ONE THAT I LOVE. IT HAS BEEN ALMOST A YEAR AND I'M STILL IN LOVE WITH HER!"

Liam just kept on staring at me.

"I MADE A HUGE MISTAKE AND I REGRETTED SO MUCH. AND NOW SHE'S WITH SOMEONE ELSE, WHAT CAN I DO?!" I shouted.

I turned to the door and punched the door to let some anger out.

I guess everyone heard the loud slam on the door that they came into the room.

"What happened?" Harry asked in a concerned voice.

Everyone else was concerned as well.

I didn't remove my fist from the door.

"I'm sorry...I just need some air." I said.

I walked past everyone and charged out the hotel room.
