New Beginning. (54th Chapter)
…Three Days Later…

Valerie's POV:

“(He whispers calmly, as he enters) Hey, I got us some food.” I nod at Harry’s words, even though I can’t take my eyes off of her sleeping body. That night is still on repitition in my own mind, I visualise it as if I am back there. I remember it clearly, how I had dragged her unconcious body towards the elevator, as my eyes were pooling tears. But, my tears were not enough to chase down the huge fire. Once I got out of the building, it started to collapse bit by bit.
Harry pushed all of his energy and jumped out of the car to help me, even though he was also in a weak position. We placed Georgia in the back seat, as I drove in high speed to the closest hospital around the area. Harry and Georgia were rushed into the emergency sections, as they were both taken care off by the efficient medical staff. I contacted my father and aunt, to meet me here.
Once they arrived, they informed me that the police were able to take down the three criminals, and arrest them instantly. Surely I wanted to be happy, but I couldn’t because Georgia was not here to make it complete. The doctors kept Harry in a room, giving him all of the essential care. He had a case of dehydration and starvation, and a little lack in his iron which was the cause of the ferocious tests we went through. He stayed in his own room for a day and a half, because he didn’t need much of medical care.
I was glad that he was back on his feet, and beside me, but that wasn’t enough. Georgia was still tired and extremely weak because of the fire. Thankfully, she wasn’t in a coma, but she was under sedation. The doctor said that her body needs to be cleansed, and that her energy would be restored if she was resting. So, throughout the three days, the doctors were giving her sedation needles, in order for her to sleep of and rest.
My father contacted her father, in order to inform him about Georgia’s case. Apparently, he was out of reach. When my father went to check up on him, the butler of his household told him that he was arrested. My father and aunt went to the police station to figure out the reason, and the detective told him that Gerard, Charlie and his dad told the police about the illegal work that Georgia’s father was doing for the past ten years.
It was a massive shock for all of us, but then again I already knew about it before. Georgia will get the chance to live her life as she wanted, and she would get to stay here and have a clean beginning; a beginning which I would be a huge part of. Harry and I never left her sight, throughout the three days. Surely, my aunt and father would come over and check on us, on a daily base.
All I want now, is for her to become better and stronger. I want to be able to feel relaxed and to make sure that she is okay at least. She may have made me hate her all over the years, but in one day; she was able to erase all of these dark pages from our book, and begin a white one instead. “I got you apple juice.” I smile at Harry, giving him a kiss on the cheek as a thank you gesture. He opens up his sandwich and begins munching on it, as I repeat the prayer of everyday: Please, God. Make her heal fast, because she deserves a new beginning…
