One More Thing I Need To Do. (50th Chapter)

Georgia's POV:

If I showed him that I was scared, I would mess up the entire performance. He is smart for a wiked mind, yet not smarter than I am. I roll my eyes at him, as I sway my hips towards his standing position.“Its up to you to believe it or not, but when you lose your credibility as a biologist, don’t come running to me for help. I am on your side, or else I wouldn’t be here.”
I think my act has made a positive impression on Gerard, because he’s clearly thinking and calculating. “So what? You expect us to just drop everything and run for it?” He challenges, and I shake my head. “Actually, I expect of you to be smarter than opening your mouth and wasting more time than we all need. You probably should trash out all of the evidence for now, and then get out of here. If the police catches one single thread of evidence we all are in major trouble.”
Silence falls between the four of us, as the men begin to give each other looks of intimidation. I know for a fact, that I was able to manipulate their minds and rise the temprature of fear inside of them; but there is one more thing I need to do. Charlie, being faster to speak than I am, beats me to the question: “So what do we do with the guy? Take him with us?”
Gerard fires back at Charlie: “Absolutely not! Are you mental?! If we take him with us, then we would be stopped in the airport because he doesn’t have a passport. All of his stuff are back at Thomas’s place.” Charlie’s father intrudes finally: “So what do you suggest, then? Leave him here, and say good bye to our only chance of achieving a scientific phenomena? He has a voice you know, Thomas and his family have trained him well and he does know how to speak. If we leave him here, then the police will find him and obviously they would ask him. I don’t think that little twat will hesitate to ramble on us.”
Gerard walks towards Charlie’s father, and smirks like the devil in possession. “There is, one simple choice. We burn down the building, and we escape it. That way, him and the rest of the experimental evidence would burn down, leaving no trace on us all. The fire will be able to cover all of our prints, and we would be out of the picture. We won’t be needing to take an airport flight; we could use my ship instead. We’ll travel to Ireland, and from there we would grab new identities. That boy isn’t the only one out there, and I’m sure the results we have from his blood is more than enough for us right now. We’ll take the samples and the recored results with us, and we would proceed our expirement on some other man. You know, its easy to find human test patients, if we get some help from Georgia’s father. He is an organ donor, in the end.”
Gerard, Charlie and his father look at me, waiting for my approval on their plan. My father does have his own connections in Ireland, but what amazes me is that how was Gerard able to know all of this information? He isn’t that close to my father, but maybe Charlie’s father has told him about my dad. “Alright, now that’s settled; pack up quickly. I’ll take care of the fire."
Charlie laughs in an insane way, at my words. “You? You’ll probably end up burnt inside. (He spits in a dangerous sarcasm) As much as I’d like to have you crossed out of the world, we still need you. (He now addesses his father) Shall we let her do this?” I hold my breath, as I wait for a word from Charlie’s father. Please be the stupid and easily fooled man that I know, and say yes… please?
