Valerie’s POV:

I woke up in my own bed, but I didn’t have the time to wonder how I ended up here. I began to cry and weep deeply, at the memory of last night’s events. Who cares about colour of nature, if I can’t see his green eyes glittering in mine anymore? Who cares about the sweetness of chocolate, if I can’t ruffle my hairs in his brown locks. Who cares if I never saw strawberries anymore, if I couldn’t kiss his soft lips ever again. He is gone, and on God knows where he has been taken to.
Just as I began to wipe my tears, my aunt enters my room slowly. She notices my current estat, and for that she hurries to my side, craddling me in her arms like my mother used to do when I was younger. “Shhh, he’s going to be alright, honey. I promise you that he will return to us and that there won’t be a power on this earth that would take him away from us anymore. Calm down.” I sniffled my nose, as I hugged my aunt, needing the affection… no, craving the affection.
Slowly and gently, she departs the hug and looks at me. “The police have been here since yesterday. They found another transmitter in the living room, which means that everything before that moment was heard by that bastard Gerard. Your father and I told the police the entire story, going back to the moment you found Harry on the island. (She sighs) Your father has filed a law sue against Gerard, this morning. The lawyers are already working on the case as we speak. However, the inspector wanted to talk to you, but your case was not valid for such interigation. So, I told him that he could pass by today, once you’ve awakened.” I was dull, lifeless yet my head was throbbing. However my head wasn’t the one causing me this internal bleeding that I am feeling, it was my heart.
How would I be able to live without Harry? How will I be able to breathe the essential oxygen gas, if I’m not sure if he is breathing it too at the moment? Do I keep myself in this agony, or do I believe and allow my soul to be encouraged by hope? “Val, listen to me. We all need to be strong and together at this time. I understand that this situation is new to all of us, especially you, and for that you need to help us. We need to stick together to get him back; to get him back to you mostly. (Her eyes soften) I know how much you two are in love, and sometimes I curse myself at the envy that I feel when I see you together. I never was able to witness nor expierance love like the one you both share. It is pure, strong and extremely truthful. If I ever did, I wouldn’t let go, and neither should you right now. We need you, Harry needs you too. If you aren’t strong and faithful to your positive beliefs of his saftey, then our pact weakens and we won’t be able to do something about it. (She holds both my hands, as my ears catch the police sirens from the outside) The inspectore has arrived, so please let me help you wash and dress up, alright?”
