Valerie’s POV:

“(He pleads, as he holds my face in both his palms) Please, let me go downstairs. I won’t make a sound I promise, Valerie.” I have been trying to convince Harry to stay in his room, because my father and my aunt are yelling and arguing downstairs. As soon as Gerard left, my aunt phoned him and told him that there is a huge crisis. He came back in a rush, and once he stepped into the house we both spilled everything out on him.
My father went outrageous, he couldn’t maintain his vocal tone. We all have been arguing and questioning how did Gerard reach to this conclusion. Right now, I just want Harry to stay in his room, I cant even think of him getting hurt, and I won’t allow myself to think of that scenario either. “Harry, I promise that I will come back. Just stay here, draw, listen to music or watch a movie. Please, we are busy downstairs. Do this for me?”
I look him in the eyes, as his stare with a lot of confusion. However, he leaned in and gave me a slow kiss, then nodded his head in silence. When I turned my back to leave, he spoke: “I love you.” I turned my face and replied meaningfully, more than anytime ever. “I love you too, Harry.” I closed the door, and rushed downstairs to the echoing yells. “HOW ON EARTH DID THAT BASTARD KNOW ABOUT HARRY!? AND HOW IS RONALD AND CHARLIE INVOLVED IN THIS?! REGINA, SISTER, I BEG YOU. DID YOU SAY ANYTHING BY MISTAKE TO THEM?”
My aunt looks at my father in shock, as she shook her head vibrantly. “FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, HOW COULD YOU THINK SO LITTLE OF ME THOMAS?! THESE TWATS HAVE SOMEHOW MANAGED TO ACCESS ALL OF THE INFORMATION ABOUT HIM. HOW? I HAVE NO IDEA BUT WE NEED TO STOP THEM AND RIGHT NOW. THAT YOUNG BOY COULD NEVER BE PLACED IN THEIR CRUEL HANDS, DO YOU HEAR ME THOMAS!”
I stared at both my family members, witnessing the worst moments that we are triangled at. Charlie knew? He never mentioned it, he never even showed me that he knew. He didn’t ask me a tiny question that could expose his curiosity about Harry. How on earth did he actually know? Could Gerard have told his father and then he got the perception of the situation? Just as my father was about to shout again, Harry showed up unexpectedly.
“(He mutters in a low tone, trying to sound calm) I have something to say, please?” The three of our heads snap at my beautiful match, as he stares at us in a little fear. “(My father rubs his temples trying to maintain his anger) Harry, not now son. Please, go back to your room…” Harry protests directly: “But uncle Thomas, I found something extremely weird and strange in my room.”
My father’s mouth zips, as we all await Harry’s unexpected interference. “I was trying to plug in my stereo to listen to music, and I dropped the cable by mistake. It fell underneath my bed, and when I crouched down, I saw some kind of black thing with a red light on it. When I touched it, it made a sound like when the radio wave is trying to catch a frequency on a channel.”
Without speaking, I was the first one to run upstairs with full speed. Once I reached his room, I bent down and noticed the strange device. I took it out with a struggle, since it was taped under the bed. I held it in my hands, staring at it with wonder. What could this be?
