She walked out of the villa, scanning the area for what she is looking for. She finds him sitting in his car, as she rushes her heels and gets inside. “So?” He simply asks, as she crosses her leg over the other. “The cost is clear, did she tell you to leave her alone? (He nods) I knew she would, these two don’t know what is coming for them.” He coaxes his eyebrow, waiting for her to tell him what he needs.





“(She sighs, as she fixes her hair) Look, I did what you told me. I went inside and I carefully planted the audio transmitter under his bed. I also placed one in the living room, where they mostly gather. If anything is said you’ll be able to hear it on your phone. Now, where is my piece of the bargain?” He shuffles his hand in his pocket, taking out both his phone and a stash of money. He hands her the stash, as he flicks through his device.





Without glancing at his ally, he states: “These should get you what you want. As we agreed, no one will know that you were a part of this as long as you keep your pretty lips sealed. Did you make sure the transmitter is hidden and invisible to their eyes? (She nods, while counting the money) Very well, then. If Gerard didn’t lie to both my father and I; then this will get us somewhere. He told us that he saw someone unfamiliar on the ship, but I don’t know whether if his theory is correct or not. If it is true, and this guy turns out to be a natural jungle freak; then I need to abduct him and soon. (He smiles fiendishly) My father and I will get a lot of help from our experimentations on him. We would also use him in our scientific conferences as our discovery of the primitive man and how easily he got adapted to the current environment.”






She didn’t show him that she was listening, but she clearly was. She heard every single word and she knows how dangerous this is going to be. She knew that if she opened her mouth and spoke out this information; she would end up in grave danger. On the other hand, if she decided to be obedient, then Harry would be in huge risk.





“(She speaks curtly) Listen, I don’t want to get more involved more than I am right now. You told me that you needed me to attend his birthday party, because you weren’t invited in the first place. Clearly, in your sick mind, you managed to lure Valerie into spending time with you. Poor thing, she thought she was using you when you were actually using her more. My job here is done, are we clear?”





He laughs, as he connects his phone to the transmitters that she placed in the villa, and speaks: “Trust me, I was able to grab all of the files from her father’s desk, before leaving. And have it your way, pretty. I don’t want you in my way, asking me for more money than you already got. Now, get out of the car; I have business to take care off.” She slithers out of the door, slamming it hard as he drives away in speed. While waiting for a taxi to pass by, she gives herself the time to stare at the villa in thought.






She begins to question whether what she has done is right or wrong. But what she was sure of, is that she is involved in the sick plan. Why did she agree? No one knew why a young woman like her needs the money, only she was the holder of her deepest secret.
