“(I chuckle) Harry, stop!” He mumbles a groan, then laughs lightly. He has been planting kisses all over my face, since the moment that he snuck to my room to wake me up. Yesterday was the most reviving day of my life, I finally got who I needed. Harry and I feel unbreakable at the moment, even though we still haven’t announced our bond to my aunt and father. I wonder what their reaction would be like? Regardless of what they might say, I am more than positive that I won’t leave Harry.
I love him, and I am aware of the power of the word ‘love’. I know what it means and I know that I am living it second by second with my handsome fellow. “(He pouts playfully) Come on, Valerie please. One more?” I roll my eyes at his hormonal plead, granting him the kiss that he is yearning for. The sensation and heat flow through my body, as he attaches his lips with mine. I comb his hair with one hands, as he lets out a tiny murmur of contempt.
“(I depart my lips from his, as we both breathe) Harry, do you know what kind of relationship we are in right now? (He takes a moment to think, then shakes his head in denial) This is a girlfriend/boyfriend relationship. It is considered as the first step of being committed to someone why you love. As the love grows, the commitment level increases as well, changing to a fiancé, then wife eventually. Each step is sacred and valuable, and right now I just wanted you to know which level are we on.” He flicks a strand of my hair, placing it behind my ear. “So you are my girlfriend now?”
I nod, feeling the shyness taking over my cheeks. “I love every single thing about you; you know that right?” He kisses my cheek, then nods. “And I love you too.” An idea crosses my mind, as I speak: “You know, people in love give pet-names for each other. Honey, darling, cheri, love, babe, baby and so much more. Instead of using the name, the value of these words gives the impression and indication of how much you cherish your loved one.”
Harry tangles his fingers with mine, as he thinks of what I just said. “But, Valerie? Why would I call you a baby? You are a grown up young woman.” I laugh at his adorable thought, as I reply: “It doesn’t mean an actual child. Think of it this way, a baby or a child is so precious, sweet, cute and adorable right? (He nods for me to go on) Also, the baby is a fragile human who needs care and love. The word baby symbolises all of these qualities, do you get it now?” He plants a kiss on my nose, as he stares at me happily.
“So now I say: I love you, baby?” I can’t help but feel my heart jumping and doing a backflip internally. They way he said it with all innocence and seniority, made me melt into his eyes more. “Yes, that’s correct. And that applies for the rest of the words I mentioned, cheri.”
“(He smiles in remembrance) I remember that word. Regina told me it means something like my love or my darling.” For what he just said, I placed my head over his chest, as he cradled me in his arms. I don’t want to get out of my bed, and I don’t want to get out of his arms. I feel safe, calm and on the peak of my happiness where I am right now.
“(I whisper) Harry?” He hums, after kissing the crown of my head:“Mhm?” I wait no longer to speak: “Can you keep me forever?” His finger lifts my chin, making me glance upwards to his eyes. “I was born to be yours, and you to be mine forever.”
